Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel in Wandsworth

The hotel is exquisite – a tranquil location yet conveniently close to transport. The breakfast team were exceptionally kind, and the reception staff (especially Margarita, the blonde gentleman, and the young brunette lady) were courteous and efficient. My first London trip has left me smitten – I’ll certainly return. Thank you, obrigado, gracias!

One of the best hotels in London. Spacious clean and modern rooms. Great location too, right beside Battersea Power Station and a short walk to the Thames and Chelsea into central London.

We had a good time in London staying at this hotel. Located about thirty minutes on foot from Buckingham and the main tourist activities in the city center, its location represents an asset. Nearby, you will also find a public bicycle station and a metro station (15 minutes walk from the hotel). The hotel has beautiful and spacious rooms with a King size bed and a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. A bar and a swimming pool with sauna complete the facilities of this hotel. It's a shame, however, not to have slippers/sliders to go to the wellness area, this is normally an addition to the bathrobes provided. At the same time, the wellness area has the merit of existing but the sauna does not heat properly; It’s a shame for a 4 star hotel. To conclude, very nice hotel within an appreciable distance from the main activities located in the city center. I recommend it to anyone visiting London.

Very great stay. The personnel were really nice, especially the women at the reception with the purple hair. I just asked on booking for a nice view for the birthday of my wife and they added the cup cake and the word, so nice, thank you. The view was nice in front of the Battersea Park. The location of the hotel is very good in a quiet area close to everything. The Battersea pier is a 2 min walk and a very nice area. The breakfast was awesome, (English breakfast) with home made smoothie and until 11 am so you don't need to eat for the rest of the day. The spa with the sauna and the swimming pool are great and clean. The only little thing is that the spa and the Gym are pretty small, so if many people go at the same time, it will be hard to find a place. But during our stay the spa was never full full so very great. I will come back for sure.

We were looking for a last minute hotel room due to flight delays and wanted something near our family. Found this and was greatly surprised. Great location and nicely laid out rooms. Didn’t get a five purely because I had difficulty working the showers to get non scolding temperature. Would book here again for location alone

Central hotel with very good service. The truth is that we are very happy, they treated us very well and the room was very large, the bed very comfortable. Overall, amazing experience.

Uninterested staff at the front desk throughout the 3 days I stayed there. Could hear the train inside the room. Pool and spa get dirty quickly and there is nobody to clean up. Room not ready until 4pm and got told to change in the toilet.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel in January. The hotel it self was good, from the outside and inside. The rooms were good, it was clean and we had a lot of space (we even had a couch). The only downside we had was that the tv can’t connect with an iphone. The first night we ordered food at the hotel to our hotel room which was good! It’s was nice staying here and we enjoyed it very much

The hotel is beautiful and the room we were in was amazing but the highlight of the stay is the lovely staff. The genuine care they take in their work is absolutely wonderful and they really want you to have a good experience. We are well travelled and often stay in hotels and we both felt that this was the best hotel experience we have had. We had a wonderful night and will definitely be back.

We have been at the hotel for 5 days and it was super good!!! In addition, Leandro attended us, a charming man, who has also helped us with everything!!

We loved the hotel. Very spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. An unbeatable stay. Also, we were lucky to meet Leandro, he was lovely to us and helped us with everything. If we return to London, I would not hesitate to repeat the hotel.

Nice hotel with a small spa area. Rooms are clean and tidy. Bed could be a bit firmer but good enough for a night or two. Located right next to Battersea station. Breakfast selection was good. Spa nice but quiet small, as was the gym area.

Rooms are not clean, the king sized beds are actually two single beds next to each other so very uncomfortable and the breakfast was awful. Avoid

We stayed as a family in the two bedroom s suite. Comfortable modern room, clean. Nice breakfast, very kind staff. Of course the four star hotel needs minor repairs.

Hotel was ok but room was not up to par for the rating or price. Maintenance and cleaning was not up to standards, e.g. broken fixtures and mould.

This is my second stay here. I enjoyed the 2 bedroom suite with my young family and it was flawless. Aside from one mishap when reception confirmed a non slip bath mat being sent to our room only to wait 30 minutes to receive abother call to say the hotel doesn't have one. Having managed various hotels around the world, this is a critical item to have with housekeeping and deemed an expected item at a 4* level. Bathing a 3yo and 1yo without this was a wee bit sketchy. A big shout out to Jessica from reception who was exceptionally hospitable and made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Great location near Battersea Park & Battersea Park Station, front of bus station that you can go anywhere easily, clean, comfortable & quiet rooms. Definitely recommended!

Arrived at 5 pm found the room was not ready even though booking in is 4 pm on speaking to the receptionist he was very off hand and dismissed me waving his hand very rude.not good customer service.

A note of merit for the breakfast and the spa. The rest is normal for a four star hotel, the location is not excellent but in line with the price.

Ideally situated for a family get together at Battersea Power station. Staff friendly and helpful, room very comfortable and a good breakfast was included. Sadly didn't have time to use the Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again.

The area of the hotel is great , there is literally everything you need around from convenience stores to cafes and restaurants, the rooms are kinda cozy but the thing I had the most problem with was the bed , there were 2 single beds in the room and they were horrible spring beds , they hurt my back everytime I slept

Been to an excellent Pestana hotel in Madeira thought I'd try this one. Stayed for two nights over this weekend. Great place to visit Battersea Power Station but just that bit far out from the centre, 15 mins walk to the tube and changing to different lines a bit tedious. Staff were very nice and courteous. Our room was on level 8, overlooking the rail tracks which was a bit noisy even with the triple glazing. Tired room, beds.not very comfortable, furnishings a bit dirty and stains on the carpet. Window was filthy not been cleaned for ages. Breakfast was disappointing on a busy Sunday morning, running out of items, not replenishing them quick enough. Coffee out of a thermos was in the 80's and the lack of choice. A place like this needs decent coffee machines! It was a little better on the Monday morning. Taxi from the Shard back after 10pm ,25 mins £28 was not bad. Overall a bit of improvement needed for a four star hotel.

For your management team - only called to find out / confirm check in time as saw 4pm and could not even ask my question - instead the lady who I could not get her name working 15/12/24 on the desk at 12:05pm hung up on my 3 times. Very very rude she shouldn’t be working there. I could have been anyone on the phone with an emergency. Has an attitude and should be let go. You don’t work in Chelsea in a hotel like that, with attitude. Good thing I hadn’t checked in simply went to the harbour instead. And yes just because of this lady I’ve cancelled my booking wouldn’t want her to be the one leaving notes on my room for service requests grumbling at work. Be warned!

The hotel was wow in the website and booking, but the reality is disappointing. Very old and not very much cleaned. The management needs to give attention on the hygiene. Also, staff in the reception are more female. I cant tell you more about the complications, polices, and rules they are making. To be honest the lady who was in the night shift she was listening and understanding the customers’ needs. But the one I faced when I did checkout she was super rude.

the location is great. the rooms are decent. the duvet is uncomfortable. and, no decent tv, which, i guess is the norm now, even for a two bedroom suite. Just finished our second stay. we'll def be back!!

I had a massage with Yoana and I left feeling completely refreshed. Yoana was incredibly polite, full of good energy and made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout. The spa was impeccably clean, and the lovely gentleman at reception was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

Good hotel, big rooms and good service

Pestana has a super position opposite Battersea park . 2 mins walk to bus , 25 mins walk to Sloane square and 10 mins walk to Battersea power station with the fabulous shops and restaurants . Incredible value for money. The newly opened Arts hotel at BPS is twice the rate with tiny rooms . Pestana has large rooms , great bathrooms , helpful staff . I had a bar meal , Prego steak sandwich and fries . Cooked perfectly , tasty. Quick and great value . Compliments to kitchen crew . I stay here regularly and the spa is also fabulous. . Great lap pool , sauna. Steam room . Great value for the room rate . I’m a hotelier so I should know . This place is a gem .

Unfortunately, unfortunately we are very disappointed! The hotel is no longer so new and therefore worn out. This can be seen in many corners and ends such as the breakfast room, the bathrooms, the rooms, etc. Unfortunately, we were also unlucky that our room wasn't cleaned. We then had to ask for toilet paper, we used our tissues. As is usually the case in a 4-star hotel, we also had to fight to put the beds on. When we moved into the room we had used body lotion on the vanity. We also had to ask for the shower gel as it had run out. After again!! It was then refilled later in the evening. Greetings. I'm sorry you don't know me here! The managing director is not willing to talk either! And the international hotel regulations are flouted and completely ignored. With this lack of services, a lot needs to be changed. According to the member, we didn't receive the promised discount either. There is a great new hotel nearby, certainly worth an option thanks to its public transport connections and the infrastructure of Battersea Power Station.

Absolutely delighted with my visit to this hotel since it is very comfortable, central for sightseeing and the staff is very attentive and professional, especially Estefany Andrade, she helped us a lot with the language barrier and her gracious staff

The hotel is located in Battersea right next to all the new and exciting development and activities they are creating in this area. Rooms are comfortable and very well cleaned. Staff is specially helpful and nice. I had a family health issue and Estephany did everything and more in her power to help us. We are really thankful. Always here when my family comes to London

The spa was incredibly relaxing, but the highlight was the amazing service. Silva, the supervisor, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His professionalism and kindness made my stay truly special. Highly recommend this hotel and its exceptional team!

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, though the staff were lacking in minor ways. Not doing things they said they would (ie. extra toddler bed), putting hand soap instead of shampoo, apathetic demeanor in the front staff. Nothing terrible, just not necessarily warm and inviting.

Rooms really tired, carpet had lots of stains on and bathroom definitely needed renovation. Shame, hotel is in amazing location but expensive given how shabby room was!

An ideally located hotel in the Battersee Power Station area. For the area, hotel is reasonably proced. This area is ideal for a family, closer to nice parks and shopping area. Rooms are spacious and clean. You may not get the best view from your window but room service anf staff are nice and friendly. Would recommend this place.

Old furniture but very good location.

Clean, spacious room, lovely views, a nice pool, and solid dining experience. We needed a place close to the US embassy and with transport links to Central London and Heathrow and this place was perfect for that. Bus stops right across the road with frequent services going throughout the city. Our family of four were very comfortable during our stay here and perfectly situated to explore different parts of the city. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was fantastic with a nice large bathtub separate from the shower. The view was quite nice looking west out over Battersea Park and we enjoyed a few super sunsets. We ordered room service and dined downstairs in the restaurant. The food was basic but tasty, cooked well and with good options for kids. There is also a Tesco around the corner if you need to stock up on food for the in-room mini fridge. The pool is great for a swim and the temperature is perfect. For those worrying about kids playing in the pool affecting the spa experience, no worries as there are staff on hand making sure it stays relatively quiet and calm in the area. We had a big uh-oh moment a few hours after checkout as we realised our son had left his iPad under a pillow. I rushed back to reception and they got in touch with housekeeping who sorted it out very quickly, which was very much appreciated! Just around the corner from Battersea Power Station and for nearby dining experiences I would highly recommend Dishoom Battersea and Battersea Brewing Company.

Very bad attention from the manager, very poorly educated and professional, my stay was very bad.

It was an exceptional experience, largely thanks to the wonderful receptionist, Karen. From the moment we arrived, Karen's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Her professionalism and genuine kindness truly set the tone for a memorable visit. The room were upgraded and we had the best stay. Looking forward to come back again!

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the new Battersea Power Station development. Our room was grubby and dated with large stains on carpet and very old sofa, disappointing as we have stayed at other Pestana hotels abroad which have always been excellent. Excellent spa and breakfast.

Super stay - rooms are very clean, fresh and bright. Breakfast was very good. Staff were welcoming, friendly and engaging. Safe location, I was here for business but saw lots of families and it’s suitable for both. Didn’t get to see the spa and pool but next time!

We visited in May 2024. An excellent hotel for its class. Clean spacious rooms. Good tasty breakfasts. Friendly and attentive staff. There is a large park nearby.

Thank you for a lovely stay! Such a nice hotel with a spa which gives you the luxury value. The staff are welcoming and kind. The only reason for the 4* is because the hot beverages available for breakfast were cold, it would be nice to have different options of coffee etc... Visited the bar and only one bartender knew how to make the drink, so waited a while to receive our drinks that evening. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

I had never stayed here before, and for the price I didn’t have very many expectations, however I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s very well located and a very nice classy looking building. The check in lady was friendly and efficient too. The room was as good if not better than some far more expensive options I have stayed at in London, and the basement swimming pool with tea and coffee and biscuits wss a nice touch. I do enjoy a nice breakfast, and I was not disappointed- everything was freshly prepared and good quality, and very well presented. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Brilliant hotel. A little off the beaten track but worth it. Superb rooms. Superb staff and excellent breakfast. Just couldn't find anywhere nearby to eat late at night.
