Pepes piri piri Luton in Luton

So many people working at 11pm, huddled talking with each other whilst the burgers have all been wrapped on the top hot shelve whilst customers are waiting a very long while to be served their food

I’ve been ordering from pepes for 9months now. Really enjoy some of their chains food. The problem with this specific pepes is they have a lot of training staff in. So when I made an order it’s 50/50 I’ll get a well cooked pepes meal or an uncooked trainee staff version

Hygiene in the shop was awful. No hair nets. Woman on the till going from till ( serving customers ! ) to cooking with no washing hands or anything inbetween. Hairs found in our food as pictured. 🤮

I bought food from these scammers as a takeaway I was given some of the food that I ordered except the kids meal after I paid for the taxi £7 and I paid £27 for the food I contacted the shop to let them know that I did not get what I ordered the lady on the phone didn’t understand English she was rude and put the phone down on me I called several times there was no answer I will not bug from them anymore it’s important to put friend line staff who understand English rather someone who does not have good customer care.

Ordered through uber eats had spicy rice missing on the order also food was still raw and under cooked chicken and chicken steak burger had rotten lettuce inside the burger I would not recommend to anyone even it was the last place on earth to eat totally disgusting

Over 5 years ago this was the best place to get a nice peri peri burger. Much has changed since then and unfortunately it has gone downhill.

The place is very dirty. Staff wareing dirty uniform. I have specifically asked the till operative 3 times to cook the chicken well done. After taking home the chicken is raw, not cooked at all. Looks like the chef put the chicken on the grill for 5 seconds. No seasoning at all. Awful.

I just had a rice and chicken box from this place which I paid £4 for, I bought 5 for the family. When we opened it we were disgusted by the amount of chicken in the box. If I wanted just a box of rice I would have not paid £4 for and gone to Asda and cooked it myself. Stay away from the chicken box rice. Look at the pictures I don’t know maybe I’m greedy and love chicken, I don’t know.

Shame about the slow service and dirty restaurant. Ordered a large family meal with many mixed items sampled most of the menu. Burgers and fried were horrible but the grilled chicken and lamb chops were fabulous!

Ordered delivery from here twice as I really like the food but every time they have forgotten an item.

Ordered 3 bits of chicken and chips. Chicken looked and tasted like it had been standing for a good couple of days. I wouldn't go again

nice little place near the mall,quite a variety for a quick takeaway.always enjoyed their chicken wraps.Quite busy during lunch hours.

I remember back in 2008-09 no takeaway could compete with Pepe’s. The grilled chicken used to be the best and this place was always busy. Now the place is dead and the food is not great. I always used to go for the chicken xl meal with mango and spicy flavour or the rice with chicken strips. I still visit this place once or twice a year but it’s not the same anymore. There is a guy name Rashal when he is the chef he makes the grill stuff really nice.

Best piri piri chicken in Luton. Small place with seating for about 20-30 people. Fried Chicken and piri piri both very tasty

They are too rubbish. Dont have even work to express them. Charged £6 for meal deal and could not replace drink. When asked they said you have to pay £1.50 for one can of pepsi and wont replace as other drink is a complimentary drink. Full of rubbish. Wont visit them again.

Used to come here all the time food was really good was buzzing when we realised they were delivering. Took nearly 2 hours to be delivered and the chips looked and tasted refried, And they sent the wrong ice cream. Disappointed.

Very busy al the time, always open very nice food, friendly staff, right in the middle of town, love it.

If you are planning to go on cheap eat-out, this is probably best in luton town if you want peri peri stuff. Staff is very very helpful. Food is okay, can be a bit better on odd days. Drinks are so-so. Best is the steak...

If you want fast and on a budget food , come and visit this place near the Arndale Mall. It's delicious and suits your pocket.

The food aren't as bad as the previous comments have stated, they're not the best but certainly not the worse, good if you want a bargain with a bunch of friends.

Went in and ordered a pepes chicken box with rice and vegetables with a large 7up, came out with chicken strips and rice with a small 7up and the coleslaw was rancid and clearly not kept cold in a fridge. Won't be going back.

Took some food from them last night, and faced massive dissapointment. Ok its fair that prices increased slightly, but what did food quality decreased. My chicken burger was shapeless, with some old salad, small drop of mayo and disguisting chicken. They used to be sooo much better. What the hell happened. And whats with serving fries in the paper bag? Are you kidding, who does that?! This used to be my favourite place few years ago and now I regret coming bag. If anyone wants junk food, you'll better of going to McD, at least you'll know what exactly to expect.
