Pepe's in West Lothian

Hi, thanks for replying. For your information while I placed the order for collection I asked not twice but thrice that if I could get the piece of my choice "which was leg piece" on which I was told by the girl over the phone who was taking my collection order that yeah that wont be a problem! Then I drove for about 20 minutes in middle of my lunch break to collect my order, upon arrival the girl at the till said well we ran out of leg pieces and we have prepared breast piece instead while if you want leg piece it would take another 40-minutes (not a short time it is I guess) on which I asked them to change the order and said to them that you should have told me that over the phone which would've made it much easier on which the guy on the grill said (isko bolo lene hai to loo naai to dimaag na kharab kro; TRANSLATION: "Tell him to take whatever we've got piss me off" On which I said I dont want it please but I'll take wings instead. "WHICH WAS NOT OFFERED BY THEIR STAFF THATS WHAT I TOLD THEM TO MAKE INSTEAD" upon which they argued and then agreed! The exact words said by the girl on the till were " mujhe pata naai tha ye itna khuroos admi hai naai to iske liye leg piece pehle he rakh dete" Translation: I never knew that this guy is so grumpy and would take his leg piece this seriously or we would've separated it from another order! Been their customer from they very since they started here in Bathgate, never had a single complain from any of their staff members, deliveries, collections whatever its been 10/10 But it's just annoying and sad to see that spending that much money for a meal and not getting the worth! Sad, wont be ever going back!

Horrible service!! Waited almost 40 minutes for chicken nuggets fries and tenders. They don't care! Terrible customer service!! In response to your comment, so on top of being unapologetic you choose to lie as well. There were only two customers already eating. The workers were socializing, cleaning, laughing and joking. Everything but preparing my order. And when I asked multiple times about the food, I was lied to about the timing. Treat your customers with courtesy and respect since they are the ones that keep you in business.

Placed a collection order for a Solo platter and was specific that I need leg piece instead of breast, when I got there I was told that they don’t have the piece asked for and replaced it with their own choice I told them I don’t want that piece and the guy on the grill started talking rude. Staff members extremely rude with zero customer managing capability. The same guy then forced me to take that order on which I refused coz I didn’t want it and asked them to replace that with something else please, and the same guy started saying bad things in Urdu assuming that I don’t understand the language but could understand everything which he was saying which was inappropriate and impolite. Terrible service

Just went there and ordered one gourmet beef burger and chick n rice. No words express the taste. It was so yummy. That chick n rice is a must try. It's surely pepelicious, I mean delicious 😋.

Chicken strips where drier than mother Theresa’s bits. won’t be ordering extra strips again. Definitely not worth 3 pounds extra

I ordered our meal at 5:19 and our meal still hasn’t arrived at 19:24 even though it says delivered, enjoy your meal!! Annoyed is an understatement

The food arrived lukewarm, the chips were a little stale. Edible, but not the quality of food that we received the last time we ordered.

Ordered food by phone at 6:40pm and received order at 8:30pm. When i place my order they said to me you will get your order in 40 minutes. Service is very vey bad . 😡😡😡 i never order at pepes bathgate again.

Wrong order 🥲 but they fixed it

I placed an order today for a lamb burger and a chicken burger meal, which was supposed to arrive within 30 minutes It ended up taking over two hours, followed by an additional 30 minutes for delivery. I called the restaurant, they were disrespectful and claimed there were numerous orders, they had no information about my order, and abruptly hung up. I was informed it would take five mins, but it took 25 minutes for my food to arrive, which was very poor quality and cold. I find it unacceptable.

Food came cold chips were soggy as if they had been sat in a bag all night and went in the bin everything else was freezing complete waste of money

First and the last time I visited Pepe's.Just for curiosity to be honest.I had to wait almost 20 minutes for food ,although I was the only one in the restaurant .The chicken wasn't cold ,but only warm and chewy..Feels like they only warmed up the yesterday left over..Only the sauce was hot..So for me is a no .sorry

Ordered food online at 5:45. Received confirmation that it would be delivered at 7:06. Rang the restaurant at 7:15 and ended speaking to three different people who all said they were the manager who said the order would be another 30 minutes because they were busy. Explained that I am a diabetic and they didn't care. The food then turned up and it was cold and dip was missing. Have ended up making pasta and binned the delivery. That's us done with this place. Would not recommend it because they're customer service is zero.

Delivery was really slow, chips were dry and hard. And wings that were ordered and paid wasn't in order!. Very dissapointed considering was a £90 order.

Kind delivery person, not their fault, they had to deliver from a completely different town.

Do not order delivery. This is the 5th time we have ordered from them. They will not deliver your food, they won't even start preparing it until you phone and ask where it is. It's a 2h+ wait for delivery. On top of that they never never get your order correct, they have ALWAYS forgotten something. If you don't have delivery drivers or are unable to deliver with a decent time please STOP TAKING DELIVERY ORDERS The chicken is soooo good it's a shame they just don't bother with their delivery orders. Don't waist your time

Food was tasty, always a reliable choice. BBQ mayo wasn't to my taste but everything else was okay.

Food is good but the delivery price is obscene, 5 pound delivery for a 10 minute drive.

Visiting family and pleased to see one of our lazy treats has a shop nearby. Took a little longer to arrive with less drivers on but food was hot and tasty. Looks like our family who live nearby will be ordering again as enjoyed the food and hadn’t before tried Pepe’s.

food delivered on time and his behavior was really nice ...If I talk about food it was good but was cold ...Had to reheat everything and I ordered piri piri fries ...There was no difference between normal and piri piri fries they were bland .

Its been long I have been visiting this pepes because of great tastes and consistency in everything. Lovely atmosphere, great service and amazing food.

Got two quesadillas and a ricebox. The quesadillas were inedible, hardly any filling, bland and the chicken was extremely chewy. Had to be binned. The sauce in the ricebox was nice however, the chicken was again very chewy. Regularly order from the Glasgow Pepe’s and it’s always up to a high standard. This Bathgate branch is actually disgusting and the biggest waste of money. The only thing worth paying for were the fries and the garlic dip.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. My work colleagues have all agreed to the fact that the chips here are the best by far

chips rubbish, chcicken burger tasty. Portion of wings was embarassing. Never ever get the wings they are tiny and expensive. will try another chicken place for better value

Called the store 10 minutes after delivery estimate for an update and was told it had left the store 30 minutes before. It arrived shortly after - the food was not hot and the chips were a bit soggy, as if they had been sitting for half an hour... not impressed, especially with a £3 delivery fee.

First time coming to pepes in Bathgate , and I was impressed with the prompt service, the politeness of the staff taking our order was outstanding, food was prepared in no time at all 😎, and you know what was the icing on the cake ….. staff member Yasir asked if I would like a can of tango instead of a draught tango , what can I say 10/10 for customer service and satisfaction, staff members in Pepes Bathgate are a credit to the management…. Food is always great from Pepes…,big Saf take note please , always give the customer choice ❤️

Chicken burger although apparently fried was cold and soggy like it has been reheated in the microwave. Along with the brown lettuce. Chips were just as bad. Vile and ended up in the bin.

Originally the delivery was meant to arrive between 7:05 and 7:20 ended up being delayed until at least 7:40 and didn’t arrive until 7:50. Some of the food was also delivered cold because of this.

Order says delivered but after the delivery time being pushed back twice I still have not received my food ??
