Nice place with nice ppl except old blonde woman behind the bar who had no time for anyone and very rude at all times

Went for a meal, and it was delicious. Menu had a small but varied selection. I had steak pie. The beef was delicious and melted in my mouth. The pastry, chipso, and veg were perfect. My husband had fish and chips. He cleared his plate ( he never does that!) £14 for two courses - fantastic value for restaurant quality food. Pudding was biscoff cheesecake for both of us. Delicious 😋 We will definitely be back.

Struggled to get electricty switched on ?

It was a private party. Food brought in so unfair to rate it although enjoyable. Bar service was very good and bought the staff a drink. Atmosphere was good because it was a party. They are looking to sell bar food very soon so will try it out.

Lovely wee pub, great pint and the staff are amazing. Used to be my local few years ago and still the best pub for a pint in Armadale. By far. New owners have the place looking fresh and inviting

Visited yesterday after our Scottish Cup Tie against Blackridge Vale of Craig AFC. Many thanks to Chris Pollock ( owner) for the tasty food ( hot soup/ pies and sandwiches), the quick bar service and excellent hospitality- much appreciated. Recently refurbished ( bar/ pool area & toilets) the outside doesn’t do the place justice- I believe that’s the next upgrade in the plan. Beer & spirit prices very competitive and service was very quick ( only 2 serving) considering 50+ arrived all at once. Don’t be put off by the outside- it’s a wee gem of a place. What a place!! Great banter, staff amazing and always looked after. Going to be refurbished in next few months so defo worth popping in!

Great place, great staff. When I went tonight a situation happened staff were on top of it like routine. Would have a pint and half again.

Empty not a lot goes on in the week. More busy @ weekend.

Nothing is a problem for the friendly and efficient staff. Drinks from beers, wines, spirits and shots. Karaoke/disco is on Saturdays from 9pm ;-)

Too many childish loud neds. Acting like fools. Shouting and swearing. Coming in out every 5 mins. Can't have a drink in peace
