I’ve ordered from Pepes over the years and I ordered wings meal from Deliveroo. After receiving my meal I noticed my wings tasted and Was smelling off. I’ve ordered so many times from Pepes but this time they delivered strange wings that was raw and heavily marinated. Long story short after a few hours of eating this meal which was only two bites, I’ve been projectile vomiting and having severe diaherrhea for two days and the pain has not stopped. I’m now suffering the worse food poisoning ever with severe abdominal pains. I’ve lost 2.5 kilos as I can barely keep any food or liquids in. I’m extremely fatigued and sick. Please do not order from here and risk your life. There is no Health and Safety at all. Never ordering from pepes in my life again.

Don’t get loaded fried disgusting

Ordered food from here over 6 months ago but never got round to leaving a review. Anyway I found hair in the wrap. This wasn't the first time. I vowed never to eat from this place. Discredit to the brand. In fact I can see this is still ongoing in another review! Disgusting food handling and quality control.

An hour and 40 mins to deliver, stopped answering the phone

I've been to a lot of Pepe's branches, and there isn't one that is more consistent than this lot. Quick service, consistent quality, and a focus on professionalism. I find myself returning weekly, and for a very good reason.

The initial delivery time was set between 5:45 PM and 6:05 PM, but after following up, it was pushed to 6:30 PM. Even after 6:30 PM, I had to call the restaurant twice to check the status, and both times, I was told the food would arrive in 4 minutes. Ultimately, the food arrived at 6:50 PM, and it was cold. When I raised this issue and expressed that such delays were unacceptable, their response was, "We were very busy today." If that’s the case, why not limit orders to what you can handle within the promised time frame? On top of that, there was no proper customer service throughout the experience. I won’t recommend this restaurant at all.

Do not order food from this place. I ordered chicken and rice yesterday, and the chicken tasted strange, as if something was off. Today, I am feeling sick, and I strongly suspect it was because of the food. I will never order from here again.

Pepe’s is my favourite food but I’m not sure what’s going on here. It tastes disgusting. Please drive to another local Pepe’s and save yourself money.

Very poor customer service and bad behaviour from the staff never order from this store

I went in and there were 3 cooks there. I asked for wings and they said they didn't have any, I asked for a chicken wrap, they said they weren't serving chicken, didn't even bother talking with the guy after that, I just left. All talking and laughing amongst themselves but couldn't be bothered to cook anything.

I have not been one to leave bad reviews however I believe there’s no way I was going to not say anything about this. I live 5 mins away, how are you telling me it’ll take an hour for me to get my food? In what world, does that make sense? If I was able to walk, I would’ve walked to get my food but instead this is an insult. I got out of my way to order more than usual so I can meet the £15 minimum delivery thing you guys have. As if this wasn’t enough, you guys somehow missed the 1 hour delivery slot you gave me. Complete,utter joke. To top it all off, the food was cold, genuinely what is this? So the meal was made on time but then you guys let the food rot for an hour for no reason? What sick joke is this? I am truly beyond furious. I have called numerous times and you guys did not pick up. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! SICKENING SERVICE. NO UPDATE ON JUST EAT. NOTHING. please do yourself a favour and face food anywhere else but here.

Loving the food, at this point I eat it everyday but yeah. Service is good, food is 9/10 times good. One time I received soggy rice but mistake was amended. Otherwise, I always get a chicken & rice box or fajita wrap, always very good. Maybe give two sauces with chicken & rice box meal instead of one 😉

I would only order Pepes from the Greenford branch. My food is always made to perfection. Chicken and rice, extra chicken breast, peri chips with extra peri powder and garlic sauce 😍💘❤️ 10/10 always 😍👌

Worst ever food I have ordered in my life. Found human hair in my food which shows the hygiene standards maintained at this restaurant. If you all guys care about your family don't order any food from here and yes they are always busy and may forget your orders too..

Absolutely the best half chicken mid I ever had. Very tasty highly recommend as an option for lunch or dinner, very juicy and fresh chicken.

Horrible staff, horrible manager. The manager is so rude he wouldn't even give 1 free sauce demanded; he wants 40p! Other Pepe's, especially on Wembkey High Road, don’t care about 40p sauce; they give at least 2. The cooks are talking badly about you in front of them. The worst experience ever. The food was soggy, and the chicken was barely cooked. I'm pretty sure they gave me fewer fries on purpose when my friend got the usual amount.

Honestly I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star I would give it a -3! The manager there is super unprofessional and rude and so are his employees aka his little minions. I am never going to this branch again the food was cold and horrible as well. The manager started complaining how he has to always pay for packaging for the garlic sauce which is very unprofessional to talk about with customers.

Horribly service from the manager himself, never ask customer about what they want I ordered fries but he didn't ask me regular or large order himself large than ask me for 50 pence extra for the dip. When I received my order it was just 10 to 14 pieces of fries inside the packet because I didn't pay 50 pence extra for dip and he got mad. Worst place ever visited. Worst Pepes I have ever tried. The chicken in our XL burgers was tough and had a bad smell. Hardly any sauce on the burgers. The fries were overcooked. The quality of the chicken used is really bad, I doubt its proper halal, probably frozen chicken from Thailand or Brazil!!! Gonna stick to my usual Pepes in Southall! Never again!!!!

Before I leave the main reason for the 1⭐️ I would like to say that the food from here has always been very nice. My reason for complaining is that I ordered from here via Uber Eats. My order took quite a while but eventually it was on its way. The Map showed it was 3mins away then 2mins then 1min. I waited at the door but nothing arrived. I looked back on the App & the delivery was back up to 3mins???? This happened for a good while until eventually my order was Cancelled 😡 I rang Pepes to explain & where was my food. The Guy on the end of the phone wasn’t the least bit interested & blamed Uber Eats Drivers. I pointed out that this has a reflection on Pepes He still wasn’t interested & couldn’t care less that I wasn’t going to receive my food or that an Uber Driver was getting a Free Meal!!! I ended the call telling him that I will never be ordering from them again & nor will my Family & Friends. FACT!

I have been fasting all day and I received RAW food. I phone up the store the person told me it was ‘busy’ so what if it was busy you can’t be sending raw food to customers, not ordering from this pace again.

This food is extremely unhygienic and unclean. They really need to improve their food hygiene processes. I mean this out of good heart as I used to like their food. I have tried many things from their menus and every single time it ruins my stomach. From the paneer wraps to the chicken rice Box to the chicken wrap and grilled wings. Everything is unclean. On top of this their service is appalling too, the manager treats you as a number and doesn't appreciate his customers. Your local competitors Roosters and Amigos are paying attention to these nuances so I advise you do the same. Also clean food isn't a nuance and should be prioritised! For now I will stop buying Pepes and if the reviews go up in the future I may give you another shot. The only good thing I can say is the garlic sauce is nice, that's all.

Service here is absolutely horrible. They practically hate that you phone up... Orders are consistently wrong... Food is sometimes warm if youre lucky... eating in is quite dirty tbh. Other pepes also give free sauce Update: service was better today due to another waiter but still inconsistent. Also wish they would give itemised receipt

Not only was the wrap tiny, but they forgot to add the garlic mayo and chilli sauce, even though they made me pay extra for it.

Ratings are low for this restaurant because they rush. Their grilled chicken is one of the main thing one the menu and it is important that they get it 100%. You absolutely cannot rush a marinated grilled chicken, especially a full chicken order I am very disappointed as I recommended this for all our family and it turned out the chicken was not grilled for atleast 3 minutes and had been sunk in nearly 400ml of sauce. Had to throw the food into the bin unfortunately. I think once it hits the 12am( 1 hour to closure) things start to move downwards. I believe that even the last order that comes in should be made the absolute best. Won’t order again.

The food is quite good for a fast food chain here. But they have gone incredibly cheap over the years, charging extra for every bit of sauce. They even cheap out on the tissues! They will literally place one tissue in the bag or none at all. It is even worse on Uber eats; they sometimes forget to add the sauces and even if you pay for extra sauces, theyll forget to add that too! Honestly if you didn't cheap out on the sauces we would probably order much more regularly from here. We use the Wembley branch because they are not cheapskates and dont charge extra for sauce and give out tissues and plenty of sauces on every order completely free of charge!

Pepe's is reasonably priced 'Go-to' piri piri dishes that are lips smacking delicious. Don't expect anything fancy just enjoy the food.

I use to order from Pepe regularly. Order a delivery recently after a while and it's not the same. Ordered a whole chicken which was almost bland and almost zero sauce on it. The chicken breast burger was also bland and had a chicken piece which covered juat over half of the burger. Before the chicken would be even bigger than the bun.

I was overcharged. They are dishonest and cheeky.

Lamb Burger = Risk to life Meat patties were like roof tiles. You could not bite them. It was HORRIBLE. I have hard mediocre burgers but these were INEDIBLE. This was my first time. Never again.

Paid for priority service i can see uber driver on the map delivering to other customer had food missing and food was cold. Rang the pepe and the manager did nothing said its not their problem its ubers. Very awful such a shame i order from here often

Never order anything from there, they will never provide food it’s a fraud with a customer and I am really not happy with the this some has to take this seriously.

Surprisingly good food, service with respect and a lot of choice on the menu. Try the sandwiches or the strips or even the wraps, you can't go wrong.

Excellent branch with friendly staff. The food is amazing and this is my go-to spot for rice box meals. The shop has 4 tables so there is space to sit and eat. 1 downside I found was that it can be a little chilly in the shop to eat.

One of my family's favourite restaurants and this branch in particular. Food always piping hot, tastes delicious (we tend to have mango & lime), chicken soft not chewy like KFC (wings and strips both good). Love that there is always some sauce in the bag to dip your chips in. Chicken burgers nice and crispy, salad fresh. Would recommend. De.

Pepes really need to do some quality control of their franchisees. In one corner these guys selling fried chicken! People in kitchen wearing coats. The chicken rice meal I ordered was covered in chilli flakes and extremely hot compared to other branches. This left me gasping for water and I couldn’t cook my mouth for almost 30 minutes. The rice overly oily. I’m a regular Pepe eater but taste not consistent with some of the better franchises in bham.

Pepe’s is a unicorn! In 40 years I have travelled to over 30 countries across 5 continents but have rarely enjoyed food as much as I enjoyed pepes tonight. Tasty chicken, freshly cooked with awesome people serving and frequenting. Genuinely take a detour to hit this place.

I really enjoy the XL burger and I’ve been having it for a long time but on my recent 2/3 times the chicken is cooked raw. The outside is cooked but the inside is raw and pink.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant, ordered at 11pm waited until now 1:20am! They showed food as delivered but no delivery was made. Restaurant closed after 1am so phone calls going to voicemail! Absolute disgrace!!!!!!!

Had a bad experience at this place…The guy at the front desk (around 12:00 AM) was very rude. We four friends visited this place and ordered meals…we asked for drink cans he gave us drink in Cups which was so diluted that it became taste less.When we complained for this he said this taste is normal which is completely inaccurate, we visit store regularly and we know the taste can, so overall good food with bad drinks made the overall bad experience.

Prices are higher than most pepes, Have to pay 40P FOR SAUCE!!! So garlic sauce is a big thing about pepes, but i had to give it a miss as they cost 40p. I had to ask 3 times for sauce, and only received 4 maiyonnaise satchets in total. when i GOT UP from EATING MY MEAL. I was stood at the counter and asked for another maiyonaise satchet and the worker was sat down on his phon, he refused to get up to get me another SATCHET OF MAIYONNASE and then the chef from the back came and gave me some. very dirty attitude from the guy at the counter, i had loss of enjoyment from my meal. for the price of the food for what i got was dissaointing aswell, it’s average, medium sized chicken, not even big!. this happened on september 12th, 2022, around 1pm. if you are the manager and you are reading this, for the prices you put the food at, atleast make the sauces free and have decent attitude from the staff. CUSTOMERS PAY ATTENTION TI THINGS LIKE THIS!!!! Never coming back here again, waste of money, didn’t enjoy food. i need a refund!

Late night good food experience.

Notorious for serving old/days old chicken. Gone downhill just like the rest of Greenford. Worst part is it's not Pepe's inherently that's bad as they're a franchise, just they have no quality control on their franchisee's and this is the worst one.

Pepes Greenford is the only best pepes across the london I believe. Tried mostly everywhere but Greenford pepes food is more fresh, delicious and staff is so friendly.

Visited on a Friday evening. Guy at till very rude (I’m guessing he is the owner) no customer service skills. Food given to us. No tissues, no salt, no cutlery. Had to ask for everything.asked for tissue, gave torn off blue kitchen roll. Ordered drinks. Told not allowed cans as eating in has to be poured drinks. Food was average for pepes. But service was extremely poor.

I go here regularly, and although there isnt any major issues with the place, but quite often miss something from my order. They are always friendly, and very busy most of the time. The mistake is understable, not worth loosing a star :) so just double check your orders.
