It's a gem hidden away. Your think you're lost at some points, but trust your sat nav, sooo many plants to choose from, a shop that is filled with reasonable priced items, no different to other garden centres and the cafe has some lovely cakes and food, the soup was delicious accompanied with wholesome bread, butter x2 and some welsh cheese, we came away really happy with our purchases from the garden centre and cafe,

We called in here to look at the plants but were blown away by the food. It has a dog friendly area plus outdoor seating. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. During our holiday we visited at least four times. We actually had our anniversary breakfast here, which was excellent. They also offer a great range of cakes; the coffee was also very good.

Went to the Penrallt today for a treat, to include lunch of course! As usual the meal was excellent, drinks lovely and hot, staff very friendly and efficient. Nice relaxed atmosphere in the cafe, separate space to eat with your dog, useful toilets and fair prices. The garden centre is like an Aladdin's cave, there are so many areas to explore and a first-class range of goods on offer. The staff here are also friendly, helpful and efficient. There is a lovely woodland walk and places for children to play outside. Every time we have visited (2 or 3 times a year over a period of 13 years) there is always something new. It is one of the few businesses in Wales that truly maximises its potential. Well done to all, thank you for making it such a nice place to go.

We have visited this Garden centre for almost 20 years and today we came to stock up our garden with aggregate, plants and bark and we thought it nice to have some lunch first at the Cafe. I can only describe the attitudes of the two members of staff here as pretty bad, lacking any sort of welcome and even the most basic of customer service skills where it has to be said that the older of the two was much worse being abrasive and bordering on rude while the younger one was just miserable, curt and unfriendly - both were dreadful it has to be said!! The two cafe areas were quiet at the time and yet we were challenged if we had booked or not for which we had not but no tables were marked as reserved so we assumed that this was ok to sit down and to order some meals but we were made to feel unwelcome and spoken to as if we were stupid We advised the younger of the two that the service was shocking and totally unacceptable so we just packed up and left and did not bother buying any garden supplies and we certainly won't bother again which is such a shame because the garden side of the business is normally really good It seems that the cafe manager has a warped sense of priorities and instead of serving and enhancing the customer experience of shoppers at the garden centre she seems to operate the cafe on the similar principles to barracks catering where customers come last in her priorities and obviously not important enough to speak civilly or politely so we will never come back which is such a shame but there are many fabulous places to eat locally and we will unfortunately now look for another garden centre nearby

We come here once every new season for the last 3 years. Amazing stock of garden goodies to suit everyone's taste and style. Staff are super friendly and will help load your car up with heavy items without a whim. Christmasses here are a wonder to visit and missed visiting in 2020 due to covid. Of course, no trip to the garden centre is complete without the restaurant to distract us from going home. :) The proper icecream milkshakes are big and thick and stacks of variety in flavours...just how it should be. A lot of places could learn from your example. The food is great too. I love the baguettes. Waitresses are super friendly that have put up with our little tribe. Also there is a cozy part to eat in if you have a dog. Make a few hours out of it if you plan in coming here. Also some nice walks nearby to take the dog...so you could be here quite a while...2 trips to the restaurant even. ;).. Keep up the good work folks and you should feel proud of your work. See you again in the Autumn.

Our very large family stayed in Moylegrove last week. We visited the Penrallt Garden Centre Cafe during our stay and asked the chef, Craig, if we could have breakfast on the morning of our last day. We have a couple of vegans in the family and he arranged to get some vegan sausages in specially! As it was a fine morning we all sat outside to eat. The kids played in the excellent activity playground near the cafe. The breakfasts are huge and excellent value - sausages, bacon, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans and black pudding! All beautifully cooked and presented. It really set us up for the long journey home.

Visited the cafe during a four night stay in Gwbert. On arriving at the cafe my first impressions were not great. The cafe looks very dated however we decided to stay and order breakfast. The food was fantastic, beautifully cooked. My husband declared his medium breakfast the best he had eaten for a long time. We eat out for breakfast / brunch most days, so that says a lot for the quality. We returned to this little gem three further times for breakfast. On our third visit the cook was already shouting out our order and ordering my husbands coffe in a mug not a cup. Impressive! The staff throughout the garden centre all say hello and smile. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit for the food. It will not disappoint.

A quiet Monday in October at a Garden centre is no guarantee of a good meal but this Moylegrove gem of a place really exceeded our expectations. I had a cajun chicken burger, freshly cooked, whole breast of chicken, moist with loads of flavour in a brioche bun with garnish, beautiful crispy chips, onion rings and dip. We had our dogs with us so were in the dog friendly area of the cafe, warm and comfortable, very welcome on colder days. The garden centre itself is a treasure trove of goodies. It also boasts a big kiddies play area and a woodland walk down to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Staff were super, friendly and helpful. If you're ever out this way, it's a must visit place.

Walked here from Newport along the coast path which is quite a hike, we chose to stop here as it is advertised as dog friendly, which to a degree it is. However the area reserved for customers with a furry friend is quite small, only three tables and we were a bit put out to find the tables taken with non dog owners even though the cafe had plenty of seating. Anyway, after a short wait we got a table and had lunch, the food was in our view OK, nothing more and the area wasn't that clean, the table next to us had been occupied by a family and food was scattered over the floor etc. To conclude, not worth the long hike.

Great Service & friendly too. The first time I went with my husband & dogs and sat in the dog friendly area. It was bitterly cold outside but the area was warm, clean & dry. With a warm savoury scone & a big pot of tea, we had enjoyable hour or so There was a huge selection of cakes to choose from. Lunch on a later date with a friend, again lovely & fresh. The homemade coleslaw with the panini was delicious. The only downside :-( there was very little cake left that day. It was my friend's birthday & I wanted to treat her with a slice of their famous cakes...… We improvised and combined brownie with ice cream instead :-) . With a great Garden Centre/Gift shop this makes for a lovely run out for a few hours.

We received all of our meals/snacks after waiting 25 minutes. The restaurant wasn't busy. My partner ordered the beef burger which arrived not cooked through. She then sent it back and was given lots of apologise. After a further 10 minutes she was given the same burger with the same bloodied bun to find a cremated burger that was STILL raw in the middle!! After our meal we went to pay and we were told that we had to pay for half of the burger and the rest of the meal all of which my partner had eaten 3 chips and 3 onion ring as she discovered the blood and raw meat had touched the other food. The manager and staff attitude very quickly changed from apologetic to somewhat defensive when we said we would not be paying for the meal. We ordered off the menu 2 toasted sandwiches and homemade roasted pepper and sweet potato soup. We waited...and waited...and waited!!!! We read and understood the hand written sign that said they served fresh food not fast food. However at almost an hour later this was taking it a bit too far!! Came here twice whilst on holiday in this area. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were working our way through the variety of scones. Tom is the baker and does a fantastic job-I proposed to him, even though I'm married!. Thank you Tom.

Having been told this was a good cafe I asked my friend if there was WiFi. He hasn't used it, but saw a sign am saying there was. So, I decided it might be a good place for a coffee whilst I got some work done.A nice warm welcome on arrival, confirmation of WiFi, decent Americano purchased. When I tried to get online it seemed to take forever, so I did a quick speed test using the reliable fast.com and found it was connecting (and I had a strong signal) at 240k! I think I last connected that slow in 1999...So I had to abandon doing some online stuff I needed to and just enjoy the coffee and a paper. Lovely enough until I came to pay and was asked for a price that was 10% higher than the one on the board. When I queried this I was first told I was looking at the takeaway price. I pointed out that I wasn't and she then told me the price had gone up but they hadn't changed the board. No apology. She again asked for the higher price. I told here she couldn't just put a price up like that. And she began again to try and justify it. At this point she checked with another member of staff before coming back and saying she'd "let me have it" for the original price. A mixed experience. I won't bother returning

We wanted something to do, fancied visiting a garden centre, this is ideal for a fantastic selection of plants and shrubs, has everything for the garden, and also outdoor tools, after you have looked round and bought your products, do visit the cafe, serves freshly made food at good prices, served by hardworking staff. Nothing to much trouble. Had cheese and Brie salad, portions a plenty, after had cream scones with jam. Could not fault it. Excellent

We drove up the other Sunday to get a few plants they had a good variety there and we had a drink in the dog friendly part of the café - just before and separate from the Pavilion Café. Next time we are in the area we will call in again to sample the scones we have heard so much about :)

We went here as a family for a pre Xmas get together and also in October for Sunday lunch, both times the Food was delicious proper home cooked and tasty just as I like it. I Also went for afternoon tea here with friends and it was lovely with more than enough food. Cakes were delicious. The garden centre is also a nice place to have a wander around from plants to Yankee candles. Perfect location of Moylegrove overlooking ceibwr bay.

Love this place. Drive over regularly. Plants are so healthy and the garden shop is full of great stuff. Brilliant place to browse and very difficult not to overspend! Then pop in to the Pavilion Restaurant. Never disappoints. Thank you for working so hard to make this place special with constant re-investment. It is appreciated and we will continue to pop in.

Took my parents for a spin in the car, and ended up in this wonderful place. The garden centre is fantastic, stocking a good range of plants and a comprehensive selection of planters, tools, paints, furniture, and ornamental pieces. Far better than chains such as B &Q , and it's like the Tardis inside. The prices are good and the staff friendly and helpful, Richard was brilliant.Whilst here, we had a light lunch.Although the menu wasn't massive it was just about right for this establishment. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. Service was prompt and the food was tasty and fresh.

Great location for a mid walk stop. The savoury scones are huge and amazing - I had cheese and bacon. Others had sweet scones and said they were great too. And huge!! Lovely people. Only drawback is if you want to sit outside the seats are in a very unattractive location with no views at all - except of the wall and building works.

A very nice cafe - friendly relaxed young staff. A good choice of food. Great cakes. Even though I have a very small garden and before arrival tell myself I don't need any more plants...... I can never go home without buying something from the enormous choice in their nursery!

Chicken was dry and burnt with a very bitter taste . Chips were literally brown, hard , dry and all shrivelled up so I’m guessing they’re from the night before because they look like they were double dipped. Serving people food of that poor quality and standard it was very disappointing to say the least . I don’t like leaving reviews like this but it’s happened too many times here was really hoping it may have changed but unfortunately not so this why I’ve had to leave this review.

Found this place by pure chance, I was craving fish & chips and it was the least commercial one; the place is run by two nice and very typical ladies, the food is fabulous with gigantic portions, very low prices
