Basic food which was very gelatinous in appearance and bland. It was the first time we’ve tried this takeaway and I’m fairly sure it will be our last.

The time waiting has been atrocious. We were told about half seven and we had been waiting, more or less, an hour. Some customers had even said they'd been waiting over an hour

I have been going to Peking Chef for a number of years now and I always get the same friendly welcome. The food is the best I have had from any Chinese. Takeaway. This is the reason I always go there! 5Star

Decided to have a Chinese takeaway as all the other takeaways we have had from various establishments in Sleaford had not been up to the usual standard. We have used the Peking Chef and have had no issues previously and this was no exception. There is a wide variety of choice which does include a small selection of Thai food also - we stuck too the Chinese. We phoned our order through and was told it would be ready for collection in 20 minutes - which it was. Pipe hot and just cooked we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and there was enough to have for lunch the following day, great value for money and very enjoyable - will be using again and if you have not tried it please give it a go you will not be disappointed.

For years we have been going to the Jade Dragon, unfortunately when ownership was changed recently we struggled to find a new takeaway in town that we liked. This was until last night when we tried Peking Chef, their food was amazing and definitely on par with the best we have had a Jade. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We are pleased we have found a new favourite in town and would highly recommend others to do the same.

We have been buying our meals from here now for over a year so thought it best to share why we love it so much. Simply put - tasty meals, great prices and friendly service. We get free fortune cookies which my daughter loves and my kids always want to come with me for their free lolly! Our favourites are Kung Po chicken and lemon chicken.

Our usual Chinese takeaway closes on Tuesdays so after really fancying a Chinese on the day our regular was closed, we decided to order from Peking Chef. The food was dry, salty and lukewarm. The satay chicken on skewers were like nothing we have ever experienced from any Chinese, in the fact it was just dry, chewy chicken and the sauce came separate. It was just odd. The prawn toast was cut into tiny little pieces with barely any prawns in. I will never ever ever return to this Chinese again and should have listened to other reviews. Money wasted and food from 4 plates that went into the bin.

Great Chinese shop. Everything we have here was fresh nicely cooked good quality exceptionally tasty and will be coming back here frequently.

Friendly people. Spare ribs with Peking sauce were especially good. Singapore noodles good too. I would definitely recommend although this was my first visit.

Really enjoyed tonight’s take away from here will defo be visiting again.. I would recommend the duck and lamb curry :)

Best Chinese in Sleaford - excellent food and great service, never had any complaints and go there weekly :-)

We really enjoyed our first (not last) visit to this excellent Chinese Takeaway. First impressions are very good; clean and other people waiting. We had excellent Duck and Pancakes, veg Spring Rolls, Plain and Special Chow Mein, Beef and Oyster Sauce, Egg Fried Rice and the inevitable (and very crispy) SS Chicken. It was far too much (shock!) for 4 of us but great value @£35 with free Prawn Crackers. Based on this meal, we can or recommend high enough. Yummy....

Bought a takeaway for our son as a birthday treat last night. The meat in the chowmein was dry and almost inedible, and we had a bad feeling about the whole meal. All of us took ill in the night, and my son was sick several times. Nice birthday treat! Very disappointed and won't be using again!

Having recently moved to the area we have been trying to find a good recommendation for Chinese take away. We passed the Peking Chef one day and grabbed a menu and we are so glad we did. Cannot fault the quality of the food excellent in every way. We can only assume that the wait of 1 hour when we ordered was down to popularity of that take away. We will definitely be ordering from them again in the near future

We thought we would try the Peking Chef for a takeaway for a change. It was really delicious! We had the vegetarian set menu for one between us but added some vegetarian Singapore noodles and it was more than enough for us! We even had leftovers! Complimentary prawn crackers and fortune cookies were a lovely touch.

Great food been going for years, service is good and food is great. Collection only but personal doesn’t bother me.

We have been customers of this take away for a number of years. The food is normally good however the prawn crackers are always stale. On my last visit I complained and I was offered another bag but these were just as bad. They didn’t seem concerned and no apology offered.

I ordered two meals on different days and both were excellent. On the second visit, I forgot to ask for the king prawns to be left out but was prompted by the charming young lady who had remembered. I highly recommend this establishment.

No ha sido aquí durante años, pero pensamos que sería un cambio agradable. Palitos de cangrejo sopa de cangrejo tenía en él ninguna señal ni el sabor real de cangrejo. "chop suey" al platillo era prácticamente todas las judías mung con un pequeño pedazo de cebolla y un trozo de lonchas de castaño de agua. Incluso el pan de gambas sabía rancio! Nunca ir allí de nuevo! Yo estaba indignado.

Decidimos tranquila en el día de San Valentín Chino de Pekín Chef. No hay cuestiones generales con ser entregado más de 90 minutos, brochetas de pollo brochetas eran muy muy seco y duro mi perro no come. Traté de separar la carne y el pincho rajo siendo completamente horneado. La salsa era la salsa con Chile. Aparte de ser las samosas tomado del tamaño de una moneda de 50 p estaban secos y recalentados. El arroz frito "especial" era especial en que si hubiera sido recalentados de nuevo más microondas hubieran envenenado. No voy a mencionar el resto. . Nunca me he quejado y siempre le dan grandes consejos para la entrega, pero si este chico había sido más despacio a partir de su coche los vecinos sería pensar estoy asalto él! (Sólo para recuperar mi dinero). En resumen, la comida estaba recalentado, y tan seca beduoins superficial creo que fue piedra lunar. Absolutamente terrible, prueba en otro lugar.

Estado viniendo aquí durante años y estaba un poco preocupado, pero afortunadamente la comida es igual de buena, la única pega es órdenes de teléfono. Te dan una orden de teléfono una vez dicen que llegas y 20 - 30 minutos más tarde se esperando. Si se va a 60 minutos antes de su lista no dicen 30 minutos en el telefono. Esta es una ocurrencia normal cuando un pedido a través de teléfono.

He sido cliente de Peking Chef durante los últimos 13 años, mi AH y su familia más que eso! Todo empeoraba cuando Victor jubilado, pero ahora está en el buen camino y tiene nuestro exclusivo de nuevo.

We always use this lovely take away when I feel to lazy to cook. We have tried others but always come back here. Varied menu , pre order by phone so just collect . Wonderful.

Last minute decision to get a take-away with a group of friends and chose here. We made a large order which was done promptly with a lovely friendly service. The food was fantastic, very tasty and big portions. Would highly recommend

We had a last minute take away from the Peaking Chef and were very impressed. I had a beautifully spicy Thai Green Curry and boiled rice and my wife had the crispy chilli beef. Definitely our new favourite Chinese.

We went here for a takeaway, we have used this Chinese takeaway for years and the food is always good, so good that we travel 5 miles to pick it up when there are 3 Chinese takeaways in the village we live in. We haven't been for a few weeks and in all honesty I don't think we will be going back. The food used to be really tasty and had quite a bit of spice , which really made it for us. This time the food was bland and no spice at all. Very genetic Chinese takeaway, which is fine if this is what you like, unfortunately it's not for us. I can get this kind of Chinese takeaway from anywhere. Also the person taking orders over throb poo be was quite difficult to understand when i placed the order and they nearly let someone walk out with our order, good job they asked what our order was quickly and stopped them.

Used to be the best Chinese in town but has lost its quality. Best in town now in my opinion is Jade Dragon down Station Road!

We went to this Chinese for a change. the Sweet and Sour was so vinegary that i couldnt eat it, the black bean was very watery and the chips we ordered to share was very small. Sadly would not return.

Staying in the town for business we popped in here to collect a take away to keep us going until morning. The food was well cooked and tasted great, one of the best Chinese take always I have had in a while.Only downside is they do not take cards and are cash only so if you go in make sure you've popped to the cash point in town first.

This is just a takeaway not a restaurant! It is always consistently good never had a bad meal from there! Have been using this takeaway for as long as it has been open!

I have been using this Chinese Takeaway for some years now & love the chicken chow mein together with egg fried rice & sweet & sour sauce. The owners & their family are very friendly & the only time I am disappointed is when the Takeaway is closed for their annual holiday ( no other Chinese restaurant in Sleaford meets their standard for food ). I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I used TripAdvisor to find a good Chinese Take away in Sleaford and it recommended this one. Great recommendation, the food was delicious and the staff are great too. I had the spicy Singapore rice.. best I have had in UK.Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

We have been using Peking Chef for a while now. We have tried others since but the food is no where near as good as the Peking Chef. Usually you can ring and order and collect quickly. It is a bit more expensive than most chinese take aways but you get what you pay for. I would say the best chinese take away I have had.

You will never be disappointed by this place, excellent food all the time and the prices are great value. Service is prompt even at the busiest of times and believe me, it gets busy! This is by far the best Chinese in the Sleaford area - a must go!

I have been ordering from this takeaway for a couple of months now and they never fail to disappoint. Granted, they are often busy but I can see why. The couple who run it are very lovely and they also have an online menu on their website, which is very handy.

This was a spur of the moment meal as we were later than expected. There is a very good menu with a good range of dishes. It took about 45 minutes to arrive which is fine and when it arrive the portions were good and it was an enjoyable meal,

I've tried a lot of takeaways and now Peking Chef is only place I go to for Chinese. It's consistently good and would recommend this to anyone! It's a lovely, friendly place and a good value for money. Highly recommend!

Popped here when staying with family. Ordered some duck and special fried rice, was really nice and much better than I get locally. Shame I don't live in Sleaford!!

Absolutely lovely tasting food with the best (homemade!) chips you can find in town. Really good value for money too... highly recommended!

We used to use open kitchen but since moving Peking chef is just around the corner, we had never heard of it before so waited a while before trying it. It's really yummy! Great value for money, the chicken batter balls are delicious! I am very find of duck pancakes and pancake rolls and they are both mouth watering from there! They need to advertise more as whenever I mention them no one knows about it!
