Really lovely cafe, reasonably priced and very friendly service. Ideal for a quick bite or coffee and cake. Cheese scone was lovely with Soup of the Day. Pet store was very well stocked. Dog Wash was only £8 for 10 minutes which was plenty of time for a grubby Springer Spaniel. Planning on visiting again later on again during our holiday.

Wow what a find!!! This place really is something different, all the food is cooked fresh to order and the ingredients are definitely of good quality everything we ate was just so yummy…………and if that wasn’t good enough the cakes are AMAZING and not your mass produced frozen effort these are homemade, huge, tasty to die for ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And if all this wasn’t good the staff are really lovely also and helpful and really bring the personal touch to this lovely cafe. This was our 1st visit but it won’t be our last!!!

Found this little gem in the back of Murrys pet shop on Glasgow Road. Excellent choice of food homemade and drinks all at reasonable prices. Very dog friendly, ( our dog always got a homemade biscuit ) with good friendly staff. Only been in Dumfries 3 days and have used this little gem twice.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

Popped into Picnics Takeaway for a quick lunch, chose their spicy chicken wrap, husband had spicy chicken on baguette. Both were stuffed with delicious chicken breast, chargrilled with spices, fresh salad, cheese, chilli sauce. Very filling, excellent value and friendly service.

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
