Well cooked - very fresh tasking food - absolutely the best take away food in Southend - cooked to perfection - all my family loved the food - Oxtail - Curry Goat - Salt Fish & Ackee - & Jerk Chicken we all had & was great - & my Wife is Gluten Free - so she was able to enjoy a full meal - & she was so happy - & steam vegetables was amazing.

Been Order a jerk chicken multiple times with rice and peas was so yummy and I ate the whole thing . The jerk was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing Thank you Pauline 🫡🫡

I use to eat at Johnny’s Number #1 Caribbean Hut, Johnny's no longer there, so been looking tor anywhere that get close to Johnny's food, so far Pauline's kitchen is the best place around

I ordered curry goat, jerk chicken with rice and peas, plantain and coleslaw. The food was amazingly delicious especially the curry goat. One of the best curry goats I've ever tasted. The service was amazing. Thanks Pauline I'll definitely be ordering some more very soon

This was my first time trying carribean cuisine and I ordered with Pauline. She suggested the curry goat, rice and peas and jerk chicken. The curry goat was amazing, the meat was really tender and the rich in flavour. The Jerk chicken was epic, it had a smoked flavour outside and the sauce went well with it. I devoured the entire thing for a brunch.

Oh my goodness! By far the best and most authentic Caribbean cuisine in Southend! Been struggling to find good food here in Southend I’ll be honest! Amazing value for money as the portions are huge and I got more meat than bones! Plus the customer service is 10/10 absolutely lovely Lady behind these meals. You can tell they made with love! Definitely a well deserved 5/5 on everything. Will be ordering this weekend

Moved from London, and was searching all over Southend for West Indian food and stumbled across Pauline in her early days of cooking! This lady has now been named my new mum and I will forever purchase food from here, not only does the food taste as authentic as you will ever find, but pauline is the most caring and loving lady you guys will ever meet, and puts that same love and care into her food! If you want good authentic food. There’s only one place to be in Southend and it’s here.

Brilliant customer service, food was fresh and ready to collect within 15 minutes. the brown stew chicken and curry goat was delicious and the mac and cheese was one of the best I've had. highly recommend. very reasonable prices too.

This is ELITE-level food. Sumptuous, rich with spice and flavour, an absolute treat. Oxtail, stew pork and jerk chicken - proper flavour and decent portion sizes. The rice and pea was so fragrant and perfectly cooked. Pauline we are lucky to have you in Southend!

Wonderful food, Pauline was so sweet when we collected and even gave us extra Mac and cheese. We had jerk chicken, oxtail, curry goat, rice and peas, mac, plantain and dumplings and could not fault anything. The jerk chicken especially was so flavourful. Was all ready in under 20 minutes.

Pauline's kitchen provides excellent Jamaican food. We've ordered it on many occasions. My favourite is the curried goat with rice and vegetables. My husband loves the jerk chicken, he's not a favourite of over spicy food. But Pauline's kitchen jerk chicken was spot on. You definitely need to taste the rice and peas, and coleslaw. Just perfect. Always piping 🔥. And well presented.

I love Caribbean food. Pauline's kitchen was recommended by a colleague of mine.. I've visited Pauline's kitchen many times. I have found her food is as good as many of some of the many jamaicain restaurants I have tried in the past. Even when I have spent my holidays in jamaica. Pauline’s kitchen food is very tasty indeed . If you love Caribbean home cooked authentic food than you will love her cooking and if you have never been blessed with ever tasting Caribbean than you’re in for a real treat . Hubby and I had the Curry Goat ,steam vegetables , rice and peas and plantain and coleslaw and it was delicious! All presented so well and generous portion size too . Whilst we may not have got to get out to Barbados for four years now , Pauline’s kitchen can bring us the tastes and delights off her Caribbean cooking again in the near future for sure !
