We chanced upon this bakery, which also serves sandwiches, cakes & drinks. We’re newbie locals (2 years in!) & so still discovering what’s available to us. Quite often we’re after a takeaway lunch to take with us walking but have struggled to find something, which is quite simply high quality. We’ve visited twice and would highly recommend the sandwiches and cakes - so very good. The bread pudding was delicious but had to restrict myself to half the cake for my hips sake!! The coffee was fine but no different from quite a few other places aside from the Faun & Abbey Rd cafes. We’ve looked into the Parson bakery background and found they are a long-standing, well-established Bristol based bakery, which turns out my Bristolian husband remembers well! They really do need to ‘sing out’ about their heritage. Also, the staff are really lovely and efficient. To top it off, the prices are really great - 4.50p for a sandwich, cake & drink…..

Stopped in after hiking the North Hill (highest peak in Worcester). Got a lovely apple / raisin pastry - just the right crispy crust and tasty filling. Son has a "Pasty".

The older lady that works there is very rude and dismissive. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel unwelcome and when my friend asked her a question she was met with a very sarcastic and horrible reply. We left without buying anything because of her. Seems like she’s on a power trip and likes to put others down

On new yrs eve me and my good lady decided to have a mooch around Malvern and enjoy our day. We decided we wanted a honk of pastry to make life generally better and to make a mess of our faces. We had various sweet and savoury pastries from parsons. The young girl working was lovely, chatting with us both despite being in since 7 and looked tired. I ate various different pastries then me and my good lady tucked into a custard slice a piece. As I stood looking at the Abby with the bakery infront of me I started to laugh. Now I’m a fat f£&ker but I’ve never had a cake be so nice it made me laugh. My good lady asked why I was laughing, I said it’s the custard slice!!! I was so happy with it I started to chuckle. I never thought I’d laugh at a piece of cake!!!! Well done parsons bakery!!! It’s a first for me that I giggled like a little school girl at a piece of cake. Definitely use you again

Nice cakes and decent coffee. There are a few seats inside, so if you fancy a break whilst wandering around Malvern, worth popping into this bakery as prices are good value.

We were in Malvern for 4 days and on 3 of them had bacon doorstop sandwiches at Parsons for breakfast. Really thick bread and plenty of lean bacon with ketchup. Absolute bargain at £2.50 a go and even better when you include a decent coffee for £3.25. No queueing, great service, great value.

We ordered bacon and sausage baguettes which would have been quite nice had they not used really cheap sausages, also, the bacon was super dry. The bacon and cheese wrap was huge but also awful tasting, it was really dry, they usually have tomato in and this one didnt and the 'flaky puff pastry' was really thick. Also ordered was a lardy cake, a firm favourite of mine, this one was crunchy on the top and really dry and poorly constructed. On the plus side, my son had 'Australian Crunch' which he said was absolutely beautiful. I would not recommend and I will not be returning.

My wife and I are staying at the abbey camp site and fancied Danish pastries and croissants for Sunday breakfast. As parsons bakery opens at 10am on a Sunday I waited until approx 9.45 and set off to buy some, which we were really looking forward to.At 10am the bakery promptly opened and I was told that the Danish pastries hadn’t been iced yet, and the crossqnts were just about to go in the oven, which would take approx 20 mins.Undeterred I waited 20 mins and whilst the croissants were ready, the Danish pastries would be quite a while longer, so I went next door to carousel to buy some.Very disappointing

Visited This Bakery in Malvern for the first time today. Husband had a cheese and onion pasty. Said it was the most delicious pasty and pastry he had ever tasted. Full of filling. I had chicken and mayo baguette, lovely crusty bread, loads of chicken filling, really tasty. Good deal too. Sandwich, cake and a drink £3.75. Exceptional quality and good value. If we lived in the area we would frequent often but unfortunately it was just a day trip.

Due to lockdown and the lack of Supermarket delivery slots we started looking at different delivery options and came across Parsons Bakery in Malvern. Phoned and spoke to Amy who was very helpful. We ordered meal deals as the best option and they were delivered that day by Amy. We have continued to use Amy for delivery. The baguettes are excellent as are the cookies. Great find and excellent customer service.

Despite the listing, this is in Great Malvern. I work nearby, so sometimes have a pastie or bacon sarnie.Am afraid I found the beef/stilton pasties lacking in both ingredients, especially the Stilton. The bacon sarnies are OK, although some of my workmates don't like the doorstep bread. The staff are very good & helpful.

Horrible experience in here this afternoon. The card machine wasn’t connecting to the Wi-fi which I told the lady, she assured me it was, and proceeded to get her card to proof that it was a problem with my card. She declared ‘see it’s worked!’ Only to encounter the same problem I had. I absolutely understand that these things happen, but her attitude stunk. Really disappointed.

I have been using this bakers since it opened and it is a very enjoyable part of my day. The shop regular girls and Emma the shops manager are polite and nothing is ever to much trouble. How ever my experience was spoilt by two area managers on Monday who would do well to learn from the regular girls they were rude forgetting the very basics that the customer is always right. I have seen a lot of good staff leave because of this bad management over the years. With over 40 coffee out lets in a 5 mile radius these area managers may want to review how they treat regular customers and staff.

Well what can I say each time we visit Tewksbury this bakery cannot fail to satisfy it has been I believe a family bakery for 100 years that surely must be the reason for such good quality pies pasties and cakes I myself normally never eat pasties but I have succumbed to the apple stuffing and sausage meat my husband enjoys the standard pasties which in our book is not standard also the cakes are divine if your in town or passing through this is a must if you want food to take away or enjoy sitting next to the beautiful canal the bakery is easily found on the high street

After an pretty exhausting walk to the top of the Malvern Hills, we were in considerable need of a hot drink and substantial snack before our return journey, so wandered down into the town centre to see what we could find...Having past an almost deserted Cafe Nero at the top of the hill, we carried on towards the bottom in the hope of finding something a bit more wholesome - and weren't disappointed. There was a queue out of the door (always a good sign!) and by the time we got in, a number of the items in the window had gone - but as it's a bakery, new items were going into the oven all the while and the smell was heavenly.I opted for a capuccino and steak pasty and my other half went for breadpudding - and as she is a chef in a multi rosetted restaurant - was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the cake - superb!Friendly staff - a real homely feel - great quality food and clearly a hit with both tourists and locals alike - so if you are after some top quality baked goodies and a decent cup of coffee - then avoid the mainstream characterless coffee shops and try this place - you won't be disappointed.
