Parisien Cafe Belfast in Belfast

This cafe has an incredible view and is one of the few that stays open after 5 PM. The prices aren’t too high, despite the fancy atmosphere. Definitely recommend it!

A really good establishment, the food was really nice. I had the Wild mushroom tagliatelle - the taste was so good. Hard working staff and the restaurant had a very pleasant decor and atmosphere.

Had lunch in Cafe Parisien yesterday Saturday 22 March. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, service was excellent extremely pleasant waiter. Surroundings and atmosphere were perfect. I would definitely go back

As soon as we walked in on Valentines day we had to wait even though we had booked (although this was understandable due to being a busy day). We were then guided to what I would describe as not the best table, we were not given a drinks menu and we were not asked if we wanted any drinks other than water. Our waiter had a very much ‘get on with it’ attitude as he took our order, the starters took around 20 minutes to come out. Which we both enjoyed. After having our plates cleared (eventually). The mains then came out fairly quickly afterwards ~ 10 minutes or so. I got the Steak and my partner got the some Chicken Dish I can’t quite remember. Overall the Steak was overcooked and tough when I ordered it Midrare, and my Partner said the Chicken was dry and only ate about half. This is when things got even worse, we waited 30 minutes after finishing our mains for our plates to be cleared! After going up to one of the waiters and asking him, for context there was about 5 wait staff and maybe 15 tables, not very busy, but they were happy enough to stand and chat amongst themselves instead of clearing us. Afterwards the desserts came out within 10/15 minutes which again we just very average. We then also waited for our plates to be cleared but we were tired of waiting and just left because we weren’t even offered the macaroons we were promised and seen other tables receiving with their desserts. The bill came to around £110 and the service charge was certainly unjustified but I paid and left. The only one highlight amongst the staff was the young man who’s name I never got but when we were paying he was very polite and understanding of my concerns. Overall I would say that me and my partner were prejudiced by the staff as we were much younger than their other customers and we were heavily disappointed with almost everything, would not recommend to any young people unless you enjoy being seen as less than other customers before you’ve even sat down.

Had the Galentines afternoon tea, food tasted amazing and staff were lovely and helpful

Surprisingly rude and blunt service. The food was rather overpriced and poor quality. Ingredients were not fresh and food was too oily. Would definitely not recommend.

Delicious pork chop, good service, nice setting! Excellent coffee and brownie for dessert too.

It was a very pleasant and beautiful place with very accommodating staff right Infront of the Belfast city hall you can see the Christmas market if you are sitting on the terrace but the weather is windy and cold so we decide to stay inside and beautiful restaurant

TLDR: Couldn't find our booking, 30-min wait to order food and drinks, waited an hour for 6 sub-standard meals, had to find bar staff to order bottomless drinks. For my annual catch up with school friends (6 of us in total) as we had heard good things from social media and work colleagues, so we decided to book. When we walked in, there were several empty tables and it was not busy. We were waiting for about 5 minutes before someone came to greet us. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we did and gave the name it was booked under. The colleague who greeted us couldn't find our reservation, so directed us to speak to the manager, who also could not find the booking. It then transpired that several bookings for the same time also did not have names against them, just the number of people in the party. This was our first red flag. We were eventually sat down and were given menus. Water was left at the table. We were left for approximately 30 minutes before our order was taken, hadn't even taken a drink order. Several members of our party ordered the Bottomless drinks option. Unfortunately, they had to keep going up to the bar to find a staff member to then order another drink which proceeded to take over 20 minutes to arrive. It was around an hour for our food to arrive. The Eggs Benedict was okay. Nothing special. The same could be said for the burger and pan fried chicken. The steak frites were over seasoned and certainly weren't pink in the middle. Very much closer to well done than the advertised medium. Needless to say, we did not hang around for dessert. We made sure our friends that ordered the Bottomless Drinks got enough to make the purchase worthwhile, then we got out of there. They had the cheek to add a 10% service charge to the table, which we declined.

We tried to go in here today. We were told by the waiter there were no tables however it seemed the place was empty. Very disappointed to be shown such service in Belfast.

we booked the terrace to host our post wedding drinks & it was just perfect - the staff were amazing & attentive - kerry organised everything for us & was fantastic to deal with - the terrace was warm & weatherproof for a cold december evening - highly recommend. thank you for hosting us.

Food was perfect but did take its time coming out and felt like we were rushed to leave. Wine list not extensive with lack of choice on dry wines. That said a great place for lunch

A great place for an intimate dinner In central Belfast. Nice decor and friendly and efficient staff. One negative, there was a birthday party downstairs and the very loud music was not welcome.

Got the bottomless brunch which was excellent value! Cocktails were fabulous and wine was lovely. Ordered the steak and chips, it was a small flat iron steak on the brunch menu but perfect for lunch. Did not disappoint. Lovely friendly staff and excellent service and attention paid to us.

Always perfect food, amazing staff and great atmosphere. Best restaurant in Belfast. The staff is always so kind and lovely❤️❤️

Great place for a hen do - bottomless brunch well worth it!

I can look past the length of time it takes to actually get your meal (well over 30 mins) but I can't look past them charging a fiver for a dish water americano. Nowhere on the menu was it advertised that they were charging such ridiculous prices for their hot drinks and for that reason I'll never be back. Don't care how many chocolate mints you stick on the saucer or in the napkins. The service was great and the staff are a credit to the place but I'll only be conned into paying £5 for a coffee once 🫠

Had to return multiple drinks as my food intolerance hadn't been remembered. Some food was lovely but some was very basic like the ceasar salad.

Lovely afternoon tea for 7 people. Food was REALLY good and wide selection including soup! A bit different from the usual sandwiches. Restaurant was crowded but staff were very attentive and the atmosphere and surroundings were charming. Afternoon tea can be overrated but not here!

Lovely setting food service etc. would go back any time.

Excellent food ,wine and service

Came here for breakfast and ordered the Parisian breakfasts, after waiting for than half an hour for our food I asked the waiter who came back to inform me the food would be two minutes. When the breakfast arrived the egg yolks were hard and the rest of the breakfast was stone cold. Complained to the manager who apologised but very disappointing as we had high hopes but definitely does not live up to French standards in service and quality of cooking.

Beautiful spot and excellent Galgorm style service throughout. Food and cocktails were stunning.

Visited this evening for our wedding anniversary (though we didn't mention this to the staff). The service was exemplary, attentive but never overbearing and friendly too. The food was superb though the portions are so generous I struggled to eat everything, especially when confronted with a pork chop the size of my head! The venue itself is utterly charming too and we will definitely visit again when we next find ourselves in Belfast.

Caminamos por el centro de Belfast de gira y vimos el Parisien Café justo al otro lado de la calle del Ayuntamiento de Belfast. Lindo lugar y estábamos encantados con su comida y expresso. Mi esposa y yo compartimos una tostada francesa de brioche que vino con un poco de jamón / tocino. La tostada francesa fue magnífica, de las mejores que hemos probado. El jamón / tocino era bueno y no tan salado como nos hemos acostumbrado mientras estábamos en Inglaterra. Terminé con un macchiato de caramelo que era bueno o tal vez mejor que lo que he comido en París.

Food was okay, but is crazy the time you have to wait for the orders to come. Every cocktail took 20 minutes to get to the table. And they forgot twice of our order.

Had a lovely afternoon tea but have issue with service and customer care. I was asked before hand about food allergies/intolerances. I told them I need oat milk due to an intolerance. When I arrived they said they couldn't provide oat milk, we were then asked 4 more times if there were any allergies/intolerances. They are based in a city center, meteres away from a shop where they could have got a member of staff to get oat milk. I let it go on the day and emailed my annoyance two days later. I never heard back with an apology. Why ask about intolerances and allergies if you can't act on, in my eyes, a simple substitution, This is not good customer care or service

1st night in Belfast, tired wandering around clueless… we spot this place up, opposite the City Hall. Likely be average I think… but lo this place turns out much better than expected!!! Service was quirky but so sweet. Can’t fault the food. Got served at 9.30pm

The food was absolutely delicious, I would recommend particularly the goat cheese rocket tart salad, and mushroom risotto 👌🏼

While looking for a dessert place on Google maps, we found this place and ordered a few desserts. The desserts we tried were tasty and can be said to be good or above average. There was a minor service error regarding the americano we ordered, but it would be quite appropriate to say that the drinks were average. We saw only one employee regarding the service and he seemed really tired and trying very hard. There seems to be a lack of personnel. We think that the interior decoration is very successful in terms of atmosphere. It may be a little difficult to say that they are very good in terms of price and performance, but it is a place that can be experienced.

Unfortunately I only liked the decoration of the place, the cuisine is not in line with the price... It's too expensive ! the quality and preparation of the dishes are not up to par.

Food was okay... starter took over and hour to come out. Steaks were overcooked. Spent over 3 and half hours here, when I really didnt want to. The service is the worst I've had in years. It's also extremely expensive for what you get. Take your money and go to the Ginger Bistro instead. Trust me.

Guest confusion on check in was well dealt with by staff. Beautiful terrace to sit outside. Lift available.Good, varied menu, city prices though, food delicious. We had excellent server( maybe Declan?) Busy but good room for everyone.

We stopped in here after a tour for a quick bite. We were offered the lunch menu and were expecting artisan sandwiches, soups etc but they actually offer a full menu at lunch time include lamb, steak etc. We opted for the soup of the day as we just wanted a quick lunch to warm us. I also got tea. The soup was absolutely delicious and you could taste the fresh ingredients. The butter was whipped to perfection and the bread was freshly made. The service was prompt and the staff were very friendly. Will be returning for dinner.

I enjoyed the restaurant's pleasant atmosphere and ambience. The appetizer was good, and the shrimp & tomato risotto was excellent. I highly recommend the berry blast mocktail; it was delicious, so much so that I ordered two. However, the downside was the notably long wait time for both food and drinks.

Lovely building and nice decor in restaurant. Probably not as wide a choice as I expected on the menu. Food was tasty, however. Slightly overpriced I would think, especially the wine. Service was good, friendly staff and food/drinks promptly delivered.

This was my first time visiting, but the restaurant was absolutely brilliant, I thoroughly enjoyed my food and the service was fantastic. I will definitely come back and visit. There is lots to choose from and something to suit everyone. It is a bit expensive but I definitely think the prices are worth it.

Food was AMAZING. the staff were AMAZING (Nothing was too much trouble and it was new years eve). Booked for my birthday and got two free glasses of fizz (which was an excellent touch) highly recommended (the staff were very knowledgeable regarding foods that paired with wines). 10/10...five star

Didn't have food, just drinks. Drinks, while tasty, were very expensive but the building and decor are lovely.

Had a lovely meal for two here. Service was good. Reasonably priced and a nice setting. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Al entrar nos atendieron bien, nos gustó el local, pedimos chocolate caliente y era un colacao, además tardaron en servirnos 15 minutos, y el camarero tuvo la poca delicadeza de disculparse por el retraso al servir en otra mesa que estaban esperando menos que nosotros y a nosotros no nos dijo nada. Se ve que como no éramos irlandeses nos merecíamos un trato peor, un colacao 5,20 libras….. excesivo. No volveré ni lo recomendaré.

We happened upon this place and they fit us in for afternoon tea without a reservation! The staff was amazing and so was the food. I ended up ordering dinner after afternoon tea as well. It’s close to 30 pounds per person for afternoon tea, but totally worth it. Highly recommend! Such a fun, relaxing experience with a great view.

Visited for a wedding (private function). Service was very good, speedy and attentive. Food was excellent. Beautiful steak for myself served perfectly for me - rare. Fries were overcooked and hard more than crunchy. Veg was tasty. Lovely pate starter. The wedding party did a free bar which was very very generous.

Beautiful setting, central location and wonderful food! The staff were also so warm and welcoming, we truly felt at home here. We had their truly delicious celeriac soup and a wonderful passion fruit juice. The setting, furnishings, location, staff and of course food are all five star!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at the Parisien Cafe. Food delicious, servers were so pleasant. My friend and I had a perfect afternoon in a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance & great views too. We will be back

We went for bottomless brunch. Food was amazing and staff was very friendly. Cocktails were great except for the Aperol Spritz which was very watered down and missing its great dark orange color. Overall great and recommend!

Horrendous service, brought down our drinks after our food had already been consumed and they needed reminded of said drinks. Offered us only outside seating but parasols had holes in them so a nice soaked brunch it was. Overpriced and lack lustre, very disappointing

Lovely setting especially if you get to sit out on the balcony. Unfortunately food is not so good. Steak, ordered pink was very tuff. Would recommend finding a different meat supplier. All three dish we ordered were extremely salty. We were really looking forward to eating out here but unfortunately would not recommend and will not be returning.

Wonderful French restaurant! Had side salad and salmon off the appetizer menu with a glass of Chardonnay and was a happy customer! Will be back.

I was delighted by my visit here for afternoon tea. The food was delicious, and we left very stuffed. The service was great, we had all the items explained to us and there were plenty of polite check ins. The atmosphere is beautiful, the booth seating comfortable, the music good but not too loud. Cant fault the food and the setting. Unfortunately the service seemed a bit all over the place and need more training. Tables wernt set. Served the water without glasses, took orders for steak without asking how we prefer it cooked, then had to ask for steak knives as they didnt provide. Lacked communication.
