Parador 44 in Cardiff

Wouldn’t it be great if all hotels were like this?!! Characterful, pristine, friendly & with lovely touches like the gorgeous guest lounge & terrace, I can’t wait for an excuse to go back. Thank you! Second stay at Parador 44 & every bit as good as the first plus this time we got to eat at the restaurant which is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable & cosy but what really makes this hotel is the staff, so welcoming & friendly, they make you feel at home. Muchas gracias a todos!

Have stayed here before. A lovely place in an Ideal centre location. This time some issues clouded our stay; an issue with the evening meal which was promptly dealt with; noise from a brewery delivery before 6:00 AM! Staff and service are still great though.

Located on a noisy side road near the centre of Cardiff, this lovely little hotel is very well appointed, clean and tidy. Some bars near by have their bottle bins in the street and you can hear them throwing out their empties quite clearly, and unfortunately noise carries in the corridor as people come to their rooms after a night out. Personally my partner and I found the bed and pillows quite firm for our taste. Those niggles aside the whole experience including the delicious fry up breakfast in the morning was very nice and we would definitely stay there again 😊

Stunning little hotel. Stayed with the wife for a night, wish we'd had an excuse to stay longer. Staff were amazing throughout. Room was spacious (Flor), massive bright and clean bathroom. The residents lounge with an honesty bar was a lovely little touch. The breakfast in the morning was an absolute delight and maybe the highlight of a very high quality stay - I said upon leaving that it was probably the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere in the world. I would absolutely stay here again, the outdoor terrace at the lounge would be lovely in the summer! It was a 10 minute walk to the Utilita Arena, in a very safe area and no issues at all with the surroundings. Also it's literally right next to the Principality stadium so would be great if staying for the rugby I guess!

Had a lovely stay here. Room was quite spacious. Had toweling robe, slippers, huge double shower. Bed was comfy and cleanliness standards high. You do get some street noise, esp when bin lorries arrive but it is right bang in centre. Has a small roof terrace and honesty bar which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, service good. Couldn't fault the place

WARNING- Parador 44 will spoil you for all other local hotels. Chic, warmly welcoming, impeccably turned out: this is hospitality as it's meant to be. I rarely bother eating in a hotel restaurant, yet downstairs one of the best restaurants in South Wales awaits for excellent breakfasts (have that hash brown and all others will pale in comparison...) and a dinner few can rival locally. This is a beautiful experience.

Excellent position in Cardiff city centre within 10 minutes walk of Utilita stadium and St David's shopping centre. Lovely comfortable room and decor.

Lovely room, amazing shower, friendly staff, gorgeous bed, fantastic private roof terrace for guests by the honesty bar... all in heart of Cardiff. Such good value too, can't recommend highly enough

Staff were wonderful, room spacious and beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom facilities. Fantastic location in the centre of the city on a small side street. Breakfast was absolutely incredible.
