Delicious Venezuelan Cachapas at Portobello Market I had an incredibly tasty cachapa with perfectly cooked dough and melted cheese. The authentic flavour was spot on, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

It is by far the best place to eat in Portobello, the cachapa is simply Amazing! Giovan is the best host and he is super friendly. I would give more stars if possible. 10/10

It was my first time having Venezuelan food and it was incredible! I had the cachapas with cheese, plantain and pork. It was fantastic!!! I was blown away!!!

My daughter and I often have the pabelon. It is delicious. The corn pancakes are very tasty and the fillings generous. Would highly recommend.

I tried these for the first time last Saturday at Portobello market. The guy at the till was really nice and advised me on what to order. All freshly made as you order and the stand seemed clean and the whole process followed good hygiene standards. The food tasted really good and i will certainly be back to try the meat option as well.

This is a most try if you never have done Venezuelan Food. We Will come back any time. Your mouth Will Dance tango from the first to last bite.

Do yourself a favor and try this food ! 🤩🍀 You walk into a market full of good looking and smelling food, don’t know where to go and what to choose. Just until you’ll meet this big smiling and friendly man who invites you to taste a small bite from his local food and YOU’RE SOLD! 🤩 omg this food taste soo good! Something I haven’t tried before but for sure want more of. Especially the veggie version is recommendable 😋☀️

As a Venezuelan citizen, I must say that my visit to Papelon today was a delightful trip down memory lane. I had the pleasure of trying the "Cachapa con Todo," and it was absolutely delicious! This traditional dish, filled with cheese, shredded beef, black beans, avocado, plantains and topped with a tasty guasacaca sauce, was a true explosion of flavors. A special mention goes to the owner, Giovan, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. His passion for sharing Venezuelan cuisine shone through, and his warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I’ve never had cachapas. After eating at papeIón I now love cachapas. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given.

Never tried cachapas before but OMFG it was the best thing I've ever eaten, went their twice within 30 mins to get more and there were other customers doing the same, they have a reservation in heaven for the food they feed their customers. The staff were also the best, I will never forget this eating experience, perhaps a feeling that can never be replicated.

Being a Venezuelan I need to admit this is the best cachapa place I’ve tried in London. The food is fresh, good amount for the price and enough fillings. I will definitely come back again when I crave for cachapas.

The owner let us try the food before we got one with everything (last option on the menu) and we were so positively surprised. We never had Venezuelan street food, it seems we missed out! The cheese, beans, avocado and the sauces fit very well with the warm corn pancake.

Exquisita comida venezolana! En el mercado de Portobello. Recomiendo las arepas, son enormes y muy sabrosas, hechas con productos frescos. Felicito a sus dueños por la calidad y la buena onda con la que trabajan! Si vuelvo a Londres, volveré! (La arepa de la izquierda es de este local, mira la diferencia con la de otro local)

I had the Con Todo with a mix of chicken and beef - it was fantastic. The pancake has corn and they add cheese with it, together with the avocado and sauce I don’t know what else to say other than you have to try it… I’ve not had much South American or Venezuelan food before but this makes me want to go there and I wonder how not everyone in the country is fat… super friendly staff as well to make the experience a proper 10/10. Do try!

This place is absolutely great! I have tried several times Venezuelan food in Argentina BUT this this the best Venezuelan street food I ever had. The cachapa is gorgeous! Many vegetarian and vegan options. Can’t miss it if you go to Portobello Road Market.

I come from a Colombian family so I had a good idea of the menu before I ordered. However, I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. The food was spectacular, I had the Cachapa con todo, I was blown away. The Cachapa is very similar to a Colombian Arepa de chocolo and I was so impressed. I was so impressed I went all the way back the next day just for another one. I cannot wait to go back again with my girlfriend so she can try it. The service was amazing as well, what a nice guy with great food.
