Guy taking my order was super patient with me trying to practice my Spanish, eventually being able to order the Cachapa con todos. It was muy delicioso. He even gave me extra salsa after asking how hot I like it. Amazing food and service!

I went to the Porto Bello market in London and I found this stand and I have to tell the truth that the food is really good and then the guy was kind and knew how to advise you. Excellent for everything.

I have eaten arepas from many places and I can say that these are the best I have ever eaten. In each country they make different arepas but these are incredible. The vegetarian one is what I normally eat and it's delicious! They also have a vegan option. Best street food in London.

My daughter and I often have the pabelon. It is delicious. The corn pancakes are very tasty and the fillings generous. Would highly recommend.

Exhausted after a morning of shopping we stumbled upon this stall by chance, and it was our salvation! Very friendly staff, Venezuelans with Italian origins. Coming to the food, very good and plentiful dishes from 9 to 11.5 pounds, there is a small park two minutes away with benches where you can calmly consume this delicacy... Highly recommended!!!

Guy was super friendly and chatty and we were gravitated towards his stall after a sample. We’d never had Venezuelan food before and were quickly sold! Food was amazing and nearly went back for a second!

I had Pabellon Cachapa today and it was so delicious! I have worked near Ladbroke Grove for a few years and unfortunately I have never been here but thankfully I made the most of it by coming to Papelon. The service and food are top notch. Thank you!!

I knew NOTHING about Venezuelan cuisine until I came across Papelón's stall at the Acklam street market. And that the cachapa, a kind of "venezuelan kebab" was a PURE REVELATION! Melt-in-the-mouth meat, gluten-free because the cachapa cake is made from corn, plantains and a salsa verde... just stunning. It's simple: this is my favourite street food place in London.

Today was my first time trying cachapas and I was greatly satisfied. The meat was packed with flavor and the sauces added a bit of kick to it. Would definitely try it again the next time I'm in Nottinghill 😀

Delicious Venezuelan Cachapas at Portobello Market I had an incredibly tasty cachapa with perfectly cooked dough and melted cheese. The authentic flavour was spot on, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

I tried these for the first time last Saturday at Portobello market. The guy at the till was really nice and advised me on what to order. All freshly made as you order and the stand seemed clean and the whole process followed good hygiene standards. The food tasted really good and i will certainly be back to try the meat option as well.

This is a most try if you never have done Venezuelan Food. We Will come back any time. Your mouth Will Dance tango from the first to last bite.

Do yourself a favor and try this food ! 🤩🍀 You walk into a market full of good looking and smelling food, don’t know where to go and what to choose. Just until you’ll meet this big smiling and friendly man who invites you to taste a small bite from his local food and YOU’RE SOLD! 🤩 omg this food taste soo good! As a Venezuelan citizen, I must say that my visit to Papelon today was a delightful trip down memory lane. I had the pleasure of trying the "Cachapa con Todo," and it was absolutely delicious! This traditional dish, filled with cheese, shredded beef, black beans, avocado, plantains and topped with a tasty guasacaca sauce, was a true explosion of flavors. A special mention goes to the owner, Giovan, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. His passion for sharing Venezuelan cuisine shone through, and his warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Never tried cachapas before but OMFG it was the best thing I've ever eaten, went their twice within 30 mins to get more and there were other customers doing the same, they have a reservation in heaven for the food they feed their customers. The staff were also the best, I will never forget this eating experience, perhaps a feeling that can never be replicated.
