Papa John's Pizza in Wyre

We've been ordering online from here for years and it's always gone just fine. Easy to order, friendly delivery guy, lovely pizzas. The rest of the family have ordinary pizzas but I have the gluten-free pizza due to Coeliac Disease. They do the best gluten-free pizza ever! I've tried every other pizza place for a decent one an almost had a party when I tried the Papa John's one. A decent one at last. Then today was amazing!My daughter accidentally forgot to switch out the ordinary crust for the gluten free one. We phoned Cleveley Thornton (Lancashire) in the hopes they hadn't already made it. They had already made our pizzas and were about to send them out (that was really quick as always) so we said okay, thanks anyway, goodbye. The guy said to hang on, went to speak to someone and after a moment someone called Paul came to the phone. He asked if the gluten-free base was just preference or due to allergies. My daughter told him I can't have gluten and he immediately offered to make us a second pizza! They made a second pizza gluten free just for me and still delivered the other one so we ended up with a free pizza. We only know Paul from a less than five minute phone conversation but we are now all in love with the guy! They obviously didn't have to made a gluten-free one after our mistake. It was our mistake and yet they put it right for us. They went over and above. Three cheers for Papa John's (and Paul!).

Ordered online, 1 pizza, 2 soft drinks and exchanged a side order for points, all OK on the online order, email confirmation, made payment, order arrived, both drinks were incorrect and no side order, driver told me to call the shop, spoke to person that answered the phone, explained, heard supervisor in back ground called trina, not on our system it's not our problem and at least they have got drinks was the reply.... Not sure how she got to a supervisor level but good luck with anyone else that deals with them on the phone. This is one household that won't be ardering again...

Rubbish, called up and spoke to a member of staff and a manager wouldnt replace order, driver couldnt find my house so order was cold.

Our favourite pizza takeaway. Never disappoints. Discount codes a plenty. I don’t think we’ve ever paid full price for a meal. Service was great.

I phoned almost 2 hours before I wanted my order delivered to ensure it arrived on time as we were having a "lockdown" birthday party. The total bill was around £75. When the food didn't arrive 30 minutes late I phoned again to be told it was "just going in the oven" It arrived almost 1 hour late with items missing. I phoned again and ordered an extra pizza which they insisted on charging me for {no favours there then}. This only arrived after 2 more calls. Total bill £84 for which half the party had to wait and watch others eat. Wouldn't recommend it.

The food was cold and got the sides wrong and then add a stinking attitude over the phone and asked to speak with the manager and got told he is out on delivery phoned back to told he was out agen I think its is appalling that some one on the end of the phone can give you do much attitude over the phone for them doing the order wrong and thy never phoned when thy where out side like it tells you on the web page and held it in is own hands with no gloves on till we opened the door and told him to lev it there so we cud go out to collect it would not eat from there agen thanks

We have previously had take aways from here but this time will be the last time. My husband placed the order and made a mistake we were never offered the chance to order another pizza as I’m vegetarian and a chicken and pepperoni came because the person on the phone hung up, clearly didn’t want our custom and they were made aware I didn’t eat meat, so I went without any tea.I rang to speak to the manager and have left having strong words as feel like he has questioned me and is making out I’m a liar and I also got hung up despite the manager just claiming all his staff are polite and he has never known it before. At first the manager did offer a complimentary cheese and tomato which I felt was kind but you can’t offer that to then make out your customer is a liar. They don’t value your custom stay away or go to the other Blackpool store as the staff there are polite unfortunately we had to change due to the delivery area. I can’t stand rudeness and this situation was handled poorly they need to have lessons in manners and customer service.

We ordered a pizza, garlic bread and wedges and were told 30 minutes for delivery. After 50 minutes we called to be told they were very busy and short of drivers. The food arrived after about 55- 60 minutes and the first look was the wedges were anaemic not one speck of colour on them. It was all cold and had to be reheated before we could eat it. I can honestly say it went in the bin as it was awful, all very greasy and apart from the jalapeño no taste at all. We didn’t bother calling the shop as their guarantee is to replace any you’re not happy with and to be honest we couldn’t have faced another one. Never again is as much as I can say

After trying to order via the website, which made it impossible to actually get the deal on the site (as opposed to a voucher code), gave up and rang the store who also couldn’t honour the deal on the site. Rang Domino’s instead, no messing about and they offered the deal without having to be prompted.The area has loads of take aways, people will vote with their feet!

I received a flyer through the door offering any large pizza for £8.99 delivered and it would not accept the code online as it says minimum delivery £12.99 I accept this but please do not advertise it as the image below shows. This is blatantly false advertising

Me and my girlfriend ordered pizza and garlic knots on Sunday, we only got the garlic knots because of the special pizza sauce it comes with but once delivered we realised they had forgotten the sauce. They was no point ringing as our pizza and garlic knots would have gone cold by the time they got here so the this ended up being a waste as they wasn’t very nice on their own

Thought i'd save some cash by picking up 2 for 1. Never again Pepperoni pieces a couple of microns thick. Well done to the surgeon that saved a few pence on those. Cheese on both pizzas totally bland. Pineapple saved it from being a wash out. Fresh taste to it. Service - when will staff in fast food places learn. I don't want to hear about the crap wages. Moaning about want to get off early and one member clearly chatting up the young girl making the pizza. She wanted nothing more than to get on with her work and tried her best to ignore him. Shoddy management Poor product Overpriced Tasty pineapple. Tried and now on the avoid list

Had these twice and both times have been impressed. The garlic dip can only be classed as dodgy but the freshness is outstanding / delivered hot and on time ! Great

Late delivery, cold food and then rude staff. Would not use again. Paying a premium for pizza and expect good food and service ZERO stars from us. Stay away!

So I order at 23.45 online. Order goes through and it gives status as being made. My card is charged as normal. No pizza ever arrives and nobody answers the phones. 1am was closing time and nobody answers phones. Avoid this branch at all costs.

We ordered a larger pepperoni pizza and garlic sticks for delivery. Driver was lovely, and very honest, which instantly made the experience more satisfying. Pizza arrived hot and very tasty, however, the garlic sticks were barely warm and tasted very powdery. The pizza definitely made the order worth while. More than willing to reorder.

I tried a few times but on each occasion the pizza's were rather tasteless! They look great but they have no flavour. I have not been back since.

Without doubt the best takeaway pizza you can find, plenty of toppings on the pizza, always delivered piping hot and in super fast time, polite and friendly delivery drivers and good value for money.

Tonight was our first order from Papa John's and we will not be returning.

Best pizza ever .. We always have it delievered and it tastes great .. u can find lot of deala online that make it cheaper from the shops. Highly recommended

We order regularly and usually enjoy our pizza from here but tonight we ordered two large pizzas and when they arrived they looked like one a you get from a bog standard kebab shop for £6.00. The topping was just thrown on with no thought and it was a real mess. I wonder if it has new owners or whether the manager was out. Not happy at all

Similar price to dominos, so much more expensive that a number of competing pizza places and takeaways nearby. Food takes ages to arrive, order was wrong and the pizzas themselves were bland and dry

I ordered a pizza from papa johns on Wednesday and it was horrible because there was hardly any toppings and it was very dry. so I contacted the store and I spoke to a man at 19:07 who was very apologetic and offered a replacement pizza, he said he could send it straight away or put a note on the account so I could get a replacement next time. I phoned up on Sunday and they said there was no note on the account for a replacement and I would have to phone when a manager is in so I tried Monday (today) and I was told the same thing.

Placed an order and contacted the store after 80 minutes of hearing nothing. Was told that they had been to deliver but I hadn't answered the door or my phone so they just went back.

Visited papa john for the first time ....what can i say fantastic staff pizza was delicious n fresh... manager i think hes called geeth was very friendly and welcoming...over all fantastic all round ...i will be back

Great pizza tasted non greasy and delivered boiling hot we chose the half and half option and fund this saved money

Thought I would try this instead of competitors pizza. No comparison. The dough was dry and rubbery and not much taste to the topping. Quite bland.

Ordered from papa johns last week and it was so much better than dominos!! The staff were lovely and even met the manager, whenever I go to dominos the manager is nowhere to be seen. Great service, great staff and great pizza! Will definitely be ordering again sometime soon!

I have never had a papa John's pizza before so this was a first, really delicious pizza.

I went to get pizza from this newly open franchise.it was best pizza I ever had in my life.will return back again.great customer service and best fresh pizza taste amazing.

spent a small fortune on extra toppings and basicly you dont get any. Girlfriend wanted extra mushroom and got one very small mushroom, extra onion was non existant as was the spicy beef. Complained and got 2 free pizzas but they were just as bad. Plenty of other pizza places around that do a much better job. Dissapointing as i had always liked papa john pizzas befote but no longer, Domino and Pizza hut do far better pizza

Can not believe that in the 21st century a pizza franchise would close at 11 pm, even the bloke behind the counter looked embarrassed to say they were closed.
