Papa Johns in Braintree

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE! I’d give it a zero if I could. Took 85 mins to arrive, order wasn’t right and rude staff when I called to enquire. I will never order from here ever again

Had to wait over an hour for pizza to be delivered with 3 follow up phone calls. The man answering the phone was very rude and completely useless. Pizza was delivered stone cold and not properly cooked. It was like your chewing a bubble gum. REALLY DIAPPOINTED!!!!

We wanted papa John's this evening due to having a poorly 3 year old. We ordered through the deliveroo app, they took our £35. Was told online that it would take 25 minutes to deliver, 10 minutes later we got a call from papa John's saying they will not deliver here and deliveroo will not be coming. We have no more money for food and we have been told that we have to wait 3=5 days for the money to go back into our account. We have spoken to papa John's but they are not helpful at all. Why advertise that they will deliver when they don't. Probably the worse pizza company we have ever used. Deliveroo are not helpful either. Save your money. Me, my wife and 3 year old have to go without now.

Ordering online quick and easy, delivery not so quick, over an hour to wait, even though their tracking said it was delivered 20 minutes before it was. Pizzas were ok, dough a bit tough. Garlic bread was a bit hard, broke like a biscuit not like bread should be.

Waited 2 hrs for our order and never arrived!!! Discussed with the service when I called to complain!!! Took 20minutes to actually speak to someone and 4 days to get refund!!

I had Maleek Godward deliver me a fine pizza, great service and great food from the one and only Cheeky boy. He is holding the foundations to your pizza joint!

Amazing food and worth the drive over as Witham area don’t have one and none of them deliver this way which is annoying. I’ve not had papa johns since haven hahaha only time I ever get them and this is the first time I’ve ever been to one outside a haven site I have to say the food was amazing best pizzas I’ve had in a long time and that special garlic love it thanks for great food. Lovely chicken the lot.

First time ordering for delivery to Gosield. Much prefer their pizza to Dominos which I tend to find too dry. The only disappointment were the potato wedges which were like warmpotwedges which

Papa I still believe are the best Pizzas and once again was not let down. Pizzas were ready on time and the family soon polished them off

We love these pizza's simply the best in town we think... Please bring back the lunch time offer on the XXXL deal for £8. Just love them....

Ordered online because our other favourite pizza place wasn’t taking orders, easy to order and arrived super quick about 25 minutes, food was hot and well cooked. Plenty of toppings my only down point is the tomato base sauce could have a bit more umph rather than the bland taste. Delivery driver was also very polite

We came in on Saturday around 5pm and bought 2 medium pizzas, since then myself, my wife and my daughter have all been unwell with a stomach upset. I felt sick within a few hours of eating the pizza. It was also very chaotic behind the till and took a while for anybody to come and serve me despite the numbers of people working there. I won’t be coming back.

This is the only place we will order from for pizza. For some reason multiple people in the family get stomach ache after eating pizzas from the other chains but not papa johns. The deals are always very good, delivery is quick and food is hot. Haven’t had a bad takeaway from them yet.

Admittedly, we had stayed away from Papa Johns after having several bad tasting personal sized pizzas, however after trying them again, we found this doesn't seem to be the case with the larger pizzas (which is strange, since the same ingredients are used)- The crust and cheese on the smaller sizes are not as thinly distributed as the larger, and we think this may have been the issue as the cheese is rather 'plasticy'. Nevertheless, we were happy with our larger order and will order again soon!

This is my favourite place for takeaway pizza in Braintree it's always sure to be goodbye quality and there Osborne always offers of some sort on

Ordered for delivery to Halstead, minimum order £30 and £2 delivery. Happy with this as we are vowing never to eat a D****os ever again! Pizza arrived in 45 minutes, piping hot and delicious! Worth spending the extra. Especially recommend the cookie 👌🏼

Ordered delivery and was very happy! I particularly like the ability to order half and half as it saves having to order two pizzas.We ordered on line and the process was quick and easy. The pizzas were delivered very quickly and were pipping hot.

I have had numerous pizzas delivered and have coverted all my work colleges to Papa Johns. Pizzas are delivered hot and tasty. Best in Braintree

We ordered pizza for lunch and when I was tucking into My meat feast pizza I found what looked like a piece of black hair. I was shocked and I threw it straight in the bin. I will not be buying from papa johns again

We ordered a large pizza and a couple of other sides, the pizza was over £18 and was cold when it turned up and had a terrible after taste like plastic, we ate what we could but it was so bad we binned it, the bill was over £30's and was so not worth it, a frozen Supermarket one would have been better and so much cheaper, wont be ordering from here again.

Delivery service was slow and the pizza end up to our door was cold! And we order some garlic cheese stick that was a hardest things to chew and the garlic herb dips are disgusting so we won't be back again!!!

Simply my favourite Pizza of all the major chains. Does not upset my stomach like Domino's. Price is what you would expect. Delivery or collection only. No sit down.

Muy caro para un pizza de degustación. £11.49 por una pizza pequeña? No vale la pena. Dominos Pizza Hut y dar una mejor relación calidad-precio. Tuve que esperar varios minutos para dos miembros del personal para terminar su conversación antes de que me decidí a servir. Pizza personal bien, un poco grosero. No vamos a volver.

Hemos usado el servicio de entrega a la Gran Leighs varias veces, las pizzas son geniales. Buena relación calidad-precio y buen producto algunas buenas en el ahorro y la línea. Los conductores de entrega siempre educado y el servicio es rápido, alrededor de 30 minutos a 45 minutos.

Papa johns pizza is outstanding quality, I had never had it until a few months back and now I will never go anywhere else for pizza. The dough they use is far better than dominos or Pizza Hut, it's just the right thickness and even the crusts are delicious. The toppings are always plentiful and they always have some sort of deal online which makes it very reasonable for a take away. Their giant cookie is delicious, it's the size of a small pizza and cut into triangles, the chocolate chips are still melting and it's always just right. The chicken poppers which we usually have for starter are very good quality, all chicken breast and the free special garlic dip that comes with them is to die for! Delivery time is always excellent, I would never go elsewhere for pizza!!

Lovely food, The pizzas are tasty and filling, but without being stodgy - I much prefer them to the Other high street brand.

Since it came to Braintree I've not stopped. It beats dominos and Pizza Hut by far. Tandoori spice is always my favourite. It's consistently good plus you earn points which leads to free pizza. Always a bonus. Plus it's very good value for money

Personally I have a dislike of 'fast food' but sometimes needs must! I've used this service a couple of times when in the area, and the food has always been great. The delivery service has also been superb, with the food arriving within half an hour of the on-line order being placed. In my opinion the food is far superior to the opposition, and a great deal quicker.

I eat here too often when in town. The pizzas are pretty good but a shame that the local Italian restaurant down the road has closed now. Was this related to Papa Johns opening?

In terms of food/service etc everything is normally good. But I'm rating this as a one purely based on the fact that the prices in Braintree are more expensive than prices in Chelmsford. What is that about?It's an absolute con and needs to be fixed.

Average pizza place with average staff/service for not the cheapest prices in town, better off at Domino's IMHO. A pity as we were looking forward to a new pizza outlet in the town centre, might improve with time ?

all i can say will never have a pizza from pappa johns again with in hours of eating the pizza all four of us who had the pizza were ill for 4 days you have been warned
