Papa John's in Wellingborough

Ordered two pizzas from the Kettering store, which were eventually delivered 30 minuets after the tracker on their web site said they had been. They were only just warm which completely spoilt this Friday treat. I would not recommend ordering from them unless you enjoy cold pizza!

Awful, just awful. Pizzas were vile. Never again, tried this place twice now. There is a reason they do really cheap deals.

Well, the pizza tastes amazing. I have seen something when I went to order that made me not order again. In front of me, the lady at the reception done something gross with her hand(no glove) and then she went to prepare my pizza without washing her hands or using gloves.

Guy on the phone was so helpful after domino’s was awful helped pick the best deal for us and ordered food made sure order was correct and was generally really polite and helpful exactly what you’d want parking was a bit difficult but that’s not the shops fault I could of had delivery but chose not to

More than 1hr waiting for the delivery. On the system it says “delivered “ but this was a lie, not transparent whatsoever. Not ordering again.

AVOID AT ALL COST! I ordered two pizzas from the Wellingborough store - me, my husband, and two children were all being sick in the middle of the night due to food poisoning. We are only just recovering 2 days later and my youngest child still isn’t 100% I would seriously reconsider ordering from this store. I phoned up the next day to tell them what had happened and surprisingly they couldn’t find my order on the system and denied coming to my house to deliver a take-away. At this point I’m grateful my for ring-door bell that shows different so I can make more of an in-depth complaint to the food safety team. Just to put everyone’s minds at rest who may be reading this… I did also confirm this with the doctor so I wasn’t throwing accusations around and tarnishing people’s reputation in business. Avoid avoid avoid.

Ordered twice in the space of 2 weeks, and have to say the service is very poor. I had to wait nearly 2 hours the first time and an hour and a half the second time. I called on both occasions to be told if I wanted to pick up the pizza I could have them in 15 minutes!!! Also telephones on both ordered to ask for pizzas to be cooked well done and both times had to put pizzas in oven for 10 minutes!! Safe to say I won’t be ordering from these again. If you want your pizza to eat at 6, order at 4 pm!!! P.a This was supposed to be American hot. What I got was American!! Can anyone spot the jalapeños??? Oh yeah there is a tiny piece on one!!!

Couldn't even get served, what's that about!! New to the town as just moved home, visited Papa John's for a takeaway only to be told (after a minute or so of the staff just looking at me) "sorry we are too busy and can't take an order, I asked how long the wait was only to be told they didn't know and wouldn't be taking my order regardless...useless

Order arrived incorrect. Called straight away and got a gentleman who does not speak English, after repeating myself several times I was told the correct order would be sent out. Half an hour later I called back as no pizza and got a women this time who once again does not speak English. Went through it all again with her and she said she would send the correct order. Another 30 minutes pass, I call back and get told it is with the driver. A further 15 minutes pass still no food so I call again, this time get told that it hadn’t even been made. Absolutely ridiculous! Avoid at all costs. Kids haven’t had their dinner, I’m out of pocket and I can’t get anyone who speaks basic English to understand. Never ever again!! Over 2 hours since the initial order, complete joke!

My Mother had pizza delivered to her home address which was an error, my Mother called to inform them and was told someone would pick it up, The delivery driver arrived around 30mins after the call was made, he knocked on the window before using my Mums buzzer, he told my Mum to hurry up as my Mum was picking up the pizza, My Mum asked him not to be rude but the driver continued to be rude and raise his voice at my Mum, the driver was with a young male who apologised for the drivers behaviour. Moving forward I hope know one is ever treated like this again.

Two weeks ago I had my first bad experience with Papa Johns. They seemed to lose contact with their female driver who managed to take 40 mins to do a 5 min journey to my house. After multiple phone calls the pizza arrived. One was fine. The other was supposed to be half and half Hawaiian and veggie but when we opened it it was the Philly cheesesteak one. We then had to wait another 20-30 mins for the correct pizza to be delivered. I was willing to forgive the errors as the two members of staff I spoke to were helpful and apologetic and promised they’d make a note on their system so that next time I wanted to order they’d offer me a freebie. The reason for my poor review is that today I’ve called to redeem that offer and the man that answered said there was no note, he didn’t know anything about it, made excuses that he couldn’t check who was working 2 weeks ago to check the situation with them and would not accept what I was saying as the truth. He was not helpful at all. Very very disappointing. I used to order from them a lot but now I’m less inclined.

Did big order of 6 Pizza's on a sunday lunch time not only was it half price all the food travelled 20mins and was still piping hot. Everything was correct in any custom changes.... Super pleased.

Pizza was pretty good. Delivery from order was over an hour and 10, and the tracking app told me it had been delivered.... I'll probably use dominos if I go for pizza again.

Poor food quality ordered potato tots. We're still frozen in the middle. I called first time and sent another portion same thing with them too called back to the store and got told its not their problem and that there's no manager who can make a decision. Stating to me that the food is cooked well if that's cooked then I worry of what's not cooked. Honestly shocking customer service. I would like to be contacted with regards to this service and the quality of food.

Placed an order 4.42 still sat here waiting at 7.30 for any food to arrive phone isn't being answered at the restaurant for the last hour and have had no call to let me no what's going on two hungry children sat here will never order from you again and will make sure no friends do either disgusting service 0 stars * update thank god they didn't deliver 6 days later I have seen they have been shut down after council found it was uncontrollably infested with cockroaches 🤮

Papa johns will always be my pizza takeaway of choice, much fresher than anywhere else, and i LOVE the buffalo wings, id order just for them! never had a problem with the food, hot, good service, however do double check your orders when delivered, as we had a meat free pizza sent with meat on, it was very quickly rectified but just to bare that in mind, look forward to ordering again soon!

Ordered at 11pm. Called up at 11.30 and he said they were very busy and it will be 20 minutes. It's now closed and my pizza hasn't turned up.

Absolutely terrible customer service at the Wellingborough store, called up several times due to an issue with my order, and nothing has been resolved, infact the last time I called I was hung up on and refused a solution even with a “Quality Guarentee” the store denied from me. This restaurant is a disgrace. Do not order from them.

The delivery seemed to take an age, but when it came it was well worth it. Pizza was delicious.

Standard stuff that you expect from papa John's

Wellingborough branch is very expensive £45 for 2 pizzas what a rip off. We was told by the women on the phone that they would credit £11 back onto the card which never happened. Will never use again the pizzas wasn't that nice either not £45 worth and they rip you off. It's not even worth 1 star to be honest.

We ordered a delivery a while ago. it was slow coming. But that wasn't the main reason for this review. The Pizzas were bland and undercooked we hardly ate any of it, most ended up in the bin. My wife did fill in there online questionnaire truthfully and never got a response. We will not be ordering from Papa John's again.

forth time the delivery guy has been too lazy to get out the car but this time my phone was broken and every other time i showed him where my house was for next time he even brought it to the door last time and they decided to cancel rather than get him to knock on any single door on the street so anyone who lives outside of town be aware you probably will be able to smell your pizza going around the village but its not that likely to get to you from these guys unless you do the leg work

Me and my partner ordered our pizza to be delivered at 11:00pm for my birthday celebration at my request. The pizza was delivered half an hour early so we had to end our event to try and get to our friends house to accept the food. They decided to leave and told us on the phone they won't be delivering to us again. After being hung up on multiple times and promises that our food would come by the manager but never did.

we have always enjoyed papa johns when we have been away and decided to order from our local one. we ordered at 15.03 and spent 34.00 on food. we had to phone the shop 2 times before it had arrived and finally got to us 2 hours later I telephoned to tell them and was promised a complete reorder minus the drink. I complained to the head office and after a few emails back and forth have just heard that they cannot give me a replacement meal or a refund as the food was not returned to them. never buy from papa johns they are rude staff and not committed to given staff satisfaction

Pizzas are good BUT on one occasion our ordered was cancelled after we had our ordered online only to have to re-order it and pay twice before our pizzas arrived. We did get our money back on this occasion. HOWEVER the last time we ordered a pizza it did not arrive so phoned up to find where it was only to be told that they didn't actually deliver to our postcode (although we had already paid and they had delivered to us at least 15 times before without a problem). We are still waiting to have our money refunded and are chasing customer services... this was over 3 weeks ago! I have never posted a review before online but feel so enraged by the awful customer service and the fact that they still owe us £18!

What a joke. We ordered from here as it states on just order there no order value. We waited over an hour until I had to finally call to be told there is a £15 spend on order....the girl on the phone was also a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I ordered two combo meals, one of which was missing the potato wedges. I was also missing two large Special Garlic pots and one Sour Cream dip. The food that did arrive was lukewarm and of poor quality. When I call the restaurant they were very unhelpful and uncooperative. I won't order from here again.

Received very poor service. Wanted to change/add to the order within minutes of placing but staff on the phone (who spoke very poor English) would not allow it saying pizza has already been cooked (despite the delivery time given was 45mins). Was directed to contact justeat who said they will speak to them only to be told that the buy one get one half price offer didn't apply to the small sized pizzas. Having checked by trying to place another order it transpired that it was a complete lie!

I have had nicer pizza that has arrived quicker. I had to ring them multiple times, the first being 1.15 after them saying it had been delivered at 1. They proceeded to tell me that it's left the shop and won't be long. I gave them extra info about where to deliver it too (as I'm in a shop). He agreed to pass the message on. It had turned 1.40 and there was no sign of pizza! Tried to call the shop multiple times with no answer! The delivery guy then rang us, saying that he's at a different address and that he couldn't see our number. I told him, like we stated on the delivery notes/address and too the actual store, we are an extremely visible shop! He claimed he was only 1 minute later after bringing our order in at 1.50! Will definitely not be ordering from here again!
