Staff not very customer friendly

Don’t bother with this place. If they don’t have a driver to deliver the pizza, let customers know. Do not turn up after an hour with cold pizza. Awful

I hve always ordered PJs pizza, then moved to E4 and collected 3 pizzas. What a major disappointment, base so thin you are better buying the 99p ones from Lidl, seriously. Scrimped on the topping and cold ?? How is that I was collecting?? Never again

Driver drove past my house and 15 minutes away so when food eventually came it was freezing cold

It was my favourite place to enjoy a pizza but recently I don't know what is going on there. You can't taste the food anymore because of the grease. Once they had burned the pizza base and they didn't bother at all to tell me, an apology or to do another one. They lost a lot of points when they wanted to charge me £12 for delivery only because I ordered around 11⁰⁰ pm.

Excellent vegan options and great staff! I have had a couple of issues in the past like some other users, however, their customer service has been excellent if that happens. Mistakes happen, but great they resolve this well for their customers. Definitely better than Dominos!

Very beautiful restaurant the staff are absolutely fantastic in there very kind and very pleasant very highly recommended the pizzas are absolutely beautiful especially some of my family are vegetarians and they cater for that brilliant highly recommended

Very bad how they burnt the pizza and sent us wrong one and didn’t change it toppings gone down from 4 to 3 and more money they was awful on the phone and never go back domino’s are so much better and polite don’t recommend

I dont buy pizza from papa johns but I do love their special garlic sauce. So every time i get pizza from wherever else, or even burgers, i go into papa johns to buy some overpriced sauce because I love it. But not only every time I get funky looks because im carrying another brands box, but I also seem to get charged differently every time for the same order of sauce. I dont know if people working there take it personally or what but thats not good enough! Also while doing my usual order last night, the man working there literally ignored me for solid 5 min before asking what I want and after asking for couple of sauce pots and getting my card ready to pay he went around the back and made me wait for another 6/7 min before coming back and serving me which I found super annoying. Even though i buy dominoes I am still your customer! Dont take it personally, you are just a worker.. like what do you care if I dont like ur pizza but like the sauce? Just ignore me for as long as possible?? Management needs to train these people and put their foot down coz this uncle is defo deterring clients away from this business. If he has a bad day it seems to reflect on others judging from the other reviews!

Delivery is alway over 1 hour 30 and I don't live far.

Spoke to the man on the phone, he can't even get a simple order correct... 3 times I asked for a medium pizza and potatoe tots. Minimum order £10 so I said yes but I have a pizza and a side so it's fine... delivery no side. He refunded for the side but I felt more sorry the the delivery driver. The man on the phone should not be taking orders.

The staff are friendly and efficient and the pizzas are always good here. Some good deals if you order online and collect in the shop.

Do they know that pizza actually comes with cheese you can just see few patches of cheese on few slices, cold, nasty, no flavour and that tomato sauce is 1star on its own. AVOID!

You get what you pay for and it is Scrumdiddlyumptious =) Fantastic quality and service, great offers, also, whoever employs the cooks at this branch really knows what they are doing, my only criticism is that my favorite stuffed crust can be a little to thick and goes a little bit over the main pizza base which seems like a slight rip off, and could be a bit more generous with the Hawaiian toppings and the cheese on the pizza's could be a bit more thicker, either than that I highly recommend this branch Thanks guys!, Now off to order another stuffed crust Double Pepperoni =)

Worst service ever!!! They have delivered my pizza after one an a half hour and guess what?! It was burnt. And they did not even tried to contact me about it and did not pick up my phone nor did they respond to my email .

do not order from this place! Ordered 2 pizzas 2 sides one drink and the pizzas come cold and undercooked and both sides were missing, when I had called papajohns up I told them about the situation and they said they can not do anything about it.

Ordered pizzas from here last Sunday evening. Delicious pizza. So much better than pizza hut. And no grease on the pizza or box. Driver was very polite. Only negative was papa John's forgot the icecream but, the very kind driver went back to the store for it. Will order again soon😊

Both my husband and I got poisoned after eating this pizza. Bad cramps and stomach pain and many trips to the toilet. Not recommended

Never mind stone baked, our pizza was delivered STONE COLD 2.5 hours after ordering it. We called the store multiple occasions only to be told that it had already been delivered, that we had already collected it, and that the driver was moments away despite admitting being unable to contact the driver. We were told we'd be called back for an update and we weren't on multiple occasions. We've complained that we shouldn't be charged for a stone cold pizza but so far they have only offered a £5 voucher. The store staff clearly didn't have a clue what was going on, were dismissive - they like to say "yeah, yeah, yeah" on the phone which I find to be incredibly rude. I'd definitely avoid this branch.

The pizza was wrong and late and when I complained was told that I was banned from that location. Very poor service. Would not give me name but said he was manager

Very disappointed with delivery order this evening. Delivery took 1 hour and 20 mins to arrive from placing online order. Had to call twice to check where it was and got fobbed off. When the pizza and sides arrived, of course, it was all cold. Used Meerket discount offer but will be going to Pizza Hut in future!

Usually they are ok, last order in December was horrible. Like everything was slapped on looked a mess and undercooked toppings which appeared raw. Perhaps the over was too hot and not enough time to cook. Has put me off from ordering from them again.

Normally order papa johns right up to the last minute as i work late shift so sometimes get it a soon as i finish and they taken my orders until 5 minutes before but they and i called the other day and they couldn't do it as the guy on the phone said he had a long day everything was finished even though it wasn't 11pm yet, apparently they dont take orders 15 mins before closing so why advertise you open untill 11pm for delivery if you cant order

Went to collect my order and none of the staff were wearing masks or any type of PPE. Very disappointing. The pizza is good though such a shame.

Delicious pizza. Always tasty and fresh, been ordering from there more than 2 years now, always good customer service. There was a glitch in the app but guys sorted everything free of charge. Amazing !!!! Recommend !

Horrible waiting time and rude staff. I ordered 2 pizzas for collection was told 45 minutes wait time. Ended up waiting hour and 10 minutes, 25 minutes waiting in the shop, and was given one cold and one hot pizza. While I was waiting in the shop the staff told me numerous time my pizzas will be ready in 2 minutes. Very unprofessional and rude staff, taking in other language and mocking the customers waiting and making unsuitable jokes.

The most disgusting customer service I have ever encountered. Rude & tried to add more money on top of the already over priced pizza & only when I confronted them on adding it together did they change their story and say I had to pay delivery charge. Worst Ever!! Avoid this shop

Ordered a pizza tonight at 6:30 it is now 8pm and it still hasnt showen up. When I called at 7:30 and asked for a refund which the store owner has said I will get, but they also said i would still receive my order as a goodwill gesture. I'm guessing they changed their minds!! Worst papa John's in the area. I can't order from a different one unless I collect it. Only order from here if you dont want to actually get your order!!

Hice un pedido que no recibí, solo para que la sucursal me dijera que no hice un pedido con ellos y me indicó que llamara a otras sucursales en mi área a las que todos negaron haber recibido mi pedido. Después de llamar nuevamente a la sucursal de Chingford, el gerente dijo que lo único que puedo hacer es contactar a mi banco. Afortunadamente, mi banco fue muy útil y canceló la transacción pendiente. Luego llamé para obtener el nombre del gerente para la llamada telefónica de mi oficina central a la mañana siguiente, solo para decirme que habían tenido problemas técnicos y que tuvieron que llamar a la oficina central para resolverlo y que ahora han recibido mi pedido. La persona en el teléfono era reacia a darme el nombre del gerente y trató de convencerme de que esperara la entrega (2,5 horas después de realizar el pedido). Después de insistir en que quería que se cancelara el pedido y el nombre del gerente varias veces, finalmente me dijeron que estaba hablando con el gerente 'Shazad'. ¡Esa fue la primera y última vez que les pedí!

Terrible customer service, I tried to order 4 large Pizzas for delivery less than 2 miles away and was told no we don't deliver that far. The staff member was arguing with me for 5 minutes and when I asked to speak to the manager I was told that I don’t need to because we don’t deliver to you. I called Dominos Pizza who are a few doors away from them and they delivered to me.

I ordered a pizza since 11:30pm. I’m currently still waiting for it to get delivered. No calls, nothing. I have call over 20 times and still haven’t gotten a response. To say I am fuming would be putting it lightly. Embarrassing service. Would 100 percent not recommend.

Over half an our late no sign of delivery was very rude on the phone when asked how long it would be when it finally turned up was not edible and freezing cold NEVER USE THESE MIGHT AS WELL BURN YOUR MONEY! The dog wouldn’t even eat it! Wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else!!!!!!

Zero stars. This place should be closed down. Pizza finally arrived 1 and a half hours late, cold and disgusting, after multiple phone calls. Staff on phone have no concept of customer service. Complaints with Papa John's got nowhere so went for refund via PayPal. See all the other 1 star reviews: Do not shop here!

Avoid! 8.55pm order placed. Call up at 10.03 to request an update and told it will arrive in 20 minutes . Call at 22.45 again, told "driver on his way" only when i challenged and placed on hold for 5 minutes was I told a new time frame of 8 minutes. This was not met either. It would be funny if I wasn't so hungry.

Almuerzo de oír y pasamos 60 libras para mi personal en el trabajo. Les pedimos a chuck en una botella de coca cola y parte de la oferta. El chico en el otro extremo de la línea dieron defensivas. Speed of Delivery - OK Temperature of Food - Excellent Taste - Excellent Order Accuracy - Poor I previously gave this store a 5 star review but recently service has dropped and order accuracy is poor; nearly every other order is incorrect, constantly missing dips, or delivering the wrong drinks missing toppings on pizzas. Then there is always hassle to get it resolved. Delivery is normally OK but when it is bad it is really bad. It is a shame as the taste of the pizzas are lovely, reluctantly I'll still use them but they really need to listen to the comments being left on the reviews.

Disgusting service, we ordered potato wedges and only got 4 OF THEM, and a couple of jalepeno bites in the same box?? Took 2 hours to arrive also. I am absolutely disgusted. Dominos is much much better.

Out of the 5 pizzas we ordered for delivery one was correct. Cheese for the person with lactose intolerance. Tomato base for person that doesn't like tomatoes. Meat for the vegetarian. Another pizza was wrong. Extra barbecue sauce we ordered not present. Phoned them to rectify and they demanded we take it back. Eventually they caved in and delivered (after an hour wait). I'll stick with dominoes next time!

Horrific customer service, if I could score zero stars and still leave a review I would! Took over 2 hrs to get a pizza delivered, when it arrived it was the wrong one. Eventually rectified and offered free pizza on next order by the manager. Called tonight only to be told there's no record of my order the other night, or the conversation with the manager. Conveniently the manager 'is off today'. Staff are rude and arrogant - will be taking custom to Dominos instead.

What a joke! Ordered at 7pm rang up after waiting an hour to be told another 2 hour wait! They don't have enough staff or drivers to deal with the demand. Staff just say sorry nothing they can do. Never again...

Absolutely shocking we ordered a pizza and 1 hour later we was told we had to wait another 1hr / 45mins - they have no idea what they are doing and cannot handle orders on Friday and Saturday nights, they didn’t even offer to rectify the situation, we cancelled our pizza and I’ll be waiting 3 days for a refund. We will be making a complaint to head office about this.

I have never tasted a pizza so bad bad bad in my life. It was rubbery and as iots cooked with infra red ovens its NOT a proper pizza. How can they describe this as a pizza is beyond me.

Ordered pizza at 10:30 pm and called back at midnight to ask where pizza was & said that they cancelled our order as they couldn't find the address. What person what a bloody satnav cannot find an address. Bloody disgraceful as were only 10 minutes down the road.

Depends who is making the pizza. Mostly the pizzas are great with lots of topping, other times they can be a bit tight on the toppings but overall much better than the other pizza chain starting with the letter D.

Super happy with these guys, always delivery perfect, got it wrong once but sorted witin 20m.

I once won a contest, turns out when I tried to claim the prize (that was offered through twitter) which I entered on the internet, I waited an hour and thirty minutes for my delivery before I rang the restaurant. Turns out the man wanted to scream at me over the phone, telling me that he does not give out free pizza and that he won't give me it. Tried to get in touch with management, was literally offered nothing as compensation and was just told that "they were sorry". I don't believe that, not in the slightest.

Ordered the pizza via their web ordering system. Pizza took it's time arriving and then when it did arrive, the drink part of the meal deal didn't arrive. In his defence the delivery driver did take £2 off the total, but it didn't alter the fact we were left without drinks we had ordered.

No section on the website that asks for "extra comments for the driver" so I made a phone call. I asked a simple request that they ring us rather than knock on the door, so everyone doesn't wake up due to the order being late. They knocked on the door, made a loud noise and woke everyone up, thanks papa johns, very helpful. The person on the phone says he told the driver, the driver denies being told. Thanks a lot. Make sure not to order from there at night, they have a hard time understanding simple requests.

Ordered from just eat. took 2 hours to get my order and I'm 10 mins down the road. Was offered a free pizza on next order and they erased my details so they wouldn't do it. even though I have a screen shot of my call log with the number of times and the times I called! A screen shot of my order confirmed with the time it was ordered. Surprised they didn't spit in it too Cheeky f####rs
