Panopolis in Newham

Quería algo caliente para el almuerzo en un día frío, así que opté por un pan tostado de Panopolis en la estación Euston. El personal estuvo ocupado charlando durante el primer minuto, a pesar de verme. Cuando me atendieron, la señora me estaba apurando mucho, a pesar de que yo era el único cliente. Pasemos ahora a ese pan tostado caliente y delicioso que había elegido. ¡Qué decepcionante podría ser un pan tostado! Estaba flácida, tibia, sin cocinar por un lado y sosa, sosa, sosa! Me gustaría contactar con el servicio de atención al cliente de Panopolis con mis fotos, pero su sitio web es como tratar de encontrar el camino a través de un armario a Narnia.

Tuve una experiencia realmente decepcionante con mi pedido de Too Good To Go hoy. Cuando llegué a recoger mi bolso, pedí opciones vegetarianas. La persona que me atendió se puso visiblemente agitada e insistió en que no podían proporcionar 13 libras en artículos si eran vegetarianos. Luego trató de darme artículos a base de jamón, que, por razones personales y religiosas, no puedo aceptar. Expresé que preferiría tomar menos artículos que algo que terminaría desperdiciando, lo que frustra el propósito de reducir el desperdicio de alimentos. En lugar de ser comprensiva, se molestó más y llamó al que supongo que era su manager, que era aún más grosero. Me dijeron que debería haber comprobado si había opciones vegetarianas antes de hacer el pedido y que no debería haber pasado para confirmar el pedido si no estaba contento. La ironía es que fue su colega quien me dijo que me deslizara, y cuando mencioné eso, me dieron una mirada condescendiente. Todo lo que quería era una solución simple, como una barra de chocolate o una bolsa de papas fritas para compensar el artículo adicional que no podía tomar, pero eso parecía mucho pedir. Al final, me fui con menos artículos de los que debería, sintiéndome frustrado y acusado. Sinceramente, no debería ser tan difícil ser razonable y complaciente. Realmente espero que el personal adopte un enfoque más amigable para el cliente la próxima vez, ya que toda esta interacción fue decepcionante, por decir lo menos.

Malditamente caro para un café con leche y tostadas, pero si hubiera sido decente no me habría importado. El pan tostado era de mala calidad. Lo habría devuelto, pero no lo miré hasta que salí de la estación. Jamón y queso tostado al estilo Tesco básico.

Great spot for a late night snack, we bought a to good to go bag and they even asked for our preferences (vegetarian,…). Would definitely to again:)

The Hot Bakery Counter was serving 'hot' on the outside steak slices, cold, congealed and disgusting on the inside. The 'Chilled' bottle of sparkling Pellegrino was at best tempide. Overall disgusting fast food aviod

OMG what have I done = my first thoughts. I bought a sausage roll. Sounds simple. But no. When that roll enters your gullet, it is not the thing you have dreamed of. It is not the thing you have expected. It is but something you want in your mouth. It. Is. Dirt. Actually a dirt roll would be nicer than this. Dirt would be soft - a bit grainy maybe - but at least soft and digestible. Instead the sausage roll you’ve bought is the stuff that dice are made of. Or elephant tusks. Or the bricks that you house relies on. TL:DR is jog right on and find a marshmallow dealer for your teeth sake. Can I get a refund? Nope.

Dreadful sausage roll at over £4! It might have looked like one, but the 'sausage' inside was tasteless grey mush. Maybe I made a wrong choice but I am not prepared to ever try anything else at Panopolis. Tea cost £3. Enough said.

It’s clean. Service is average but it’s a little disorganised. Food is bland and compared to other similar stores you feel short changed with the content of the sandwiches.

My first experience was with coffee and I can’t say it was tasteless because it was actually an awful taste of burned coffee beans. The worst flat white I ever had. The second one was with beer. They run out of beer actually. And after a week, on my return flight I order the beer and they call the security because my little girl wanted to taste a bit of foam from the glass. We gave 2 chances to this place on different occasions. The coffee is unfortunately the worst you can imagine, no flavour at all, just some ordinary over roasted stuff. For a London airport and considering the price is a total dissatisfaction. Above this comes the rude attitude of the stuff. They sure do their best to maintain their low quality level.

The coffee was ok but being charged for soya milk a surcharge of 50p is just ludicrous. Went to Panopolis as I though lets give a go outside the bigger names in the airport (Nero and Pret). It is just a rip off, the full liter in a normal supermarket is between £1.4-1.6 for the brands they use, and most likely they get it cheaper as a shop. Do they really need to make that incredible difference on the backs of people that choose milk alternatives? Having more and more people that choose plant based milks I don't even accept the argument they need to compensate as they throw most of it away. Simply not a friendly place for non dairy choosing people and as a smaller brand, they offered me a bad experience which means I will not be choosing them anywhere anymore. Not surprised the bad reviews, amazed that LCY allows such a negatively critiqued place to keep operating withib the airport.

Bought a chicken salad. very dry, no dressing, wilting lettuce and the croutons were just a piece of cut up bread for £8. I suspect the wooden fork it comes with is the tastiest and most nutritious part of the whole experience. Plenty of other outlets to choose from here, which I will be doing next time.

Had a ham cheese and chuckney sandwich. The only taste was the chuckney. Orange juice was OK but price was extortionate for what you got. Staff seemed disinterested in customers.

Disgusted £5.49 for this rubbish salad was one small lettuce leaf no cucumber and loads of tomatoes which tasted funny avoid

City airport Panopolis. Double the price of Cafe Nero which is 20 metres away but around the corner so not visible when you enter. Soggy toastie and bad coffee...fruit was going off and muffin dry. £20??!!! Absolute shi*e. They should be embarrassed

Just left London CIty Airport branch where there was NO staff for 5mins, the rude security guard sat next to the bar, informed customers that there “is NO ONE THERE” in a rude and aggressive manner. Eventually a member of staff arrived to let us know that there was NOtHINg to eat.. no sandwiches no pizza and shrugged when we asked if they did coffee.. what a absolute waste of space in a prime retail location! Needs to be closed down!

None of the pre-made paninis are labelled, and the staff don’t seem to know the difference between a vegetarian and meat products, I dread to think what would happen if someone had a serious allergy. Staff were more interested in chatting about other staff members...

From the outside it looks okay and based on the number of people queuing it’s also very popular - only god knows why! A sausage roll with two meagre chewy end-pieces of the worst quality of sausage you can imagine will set you back £6!...

Limited choice of food. Chose salads. Tasteless Chicken, tasteless prawns limp lettuce. Tables cleaned by wiping a dirty wet cloth. We were lucky not to get ill Never again, this place should lose its franchise as it is tarnishing the image of the airport.

This place is shocking. Waited 10 mins for a croissant and a flat white even though I was the first person in the queue. Had to get the croissant myself as they forgot. Total cost £6.20! Joke avoid at all costs!

Panopolis provides the usual extortionately priced but very good refreshments. Early morning flights are pleasantly punctuated by porridge (with fruits of the forest &/or honey) but do ask for it to be hot enough.

Overpriced, soggy sandwiches, poor coffee and slow service. The only reason Panopolis survives because it is the first place you come to airside, and you imagine there are no others. Wrong; there is a new Pret a Manger nearer the gates. Keep walking and save...
