Palmyra's Kitchen in Islington

Came to Palmyras again for a pre match meal, not only of the service fantastic but the food is amazing as well with a brilliant selection of wines to accompany as well. Adel was serving us and was friendly, funny, chatty and very pleasant to be around. Will continue to come back again and again. 10/10!

Have had dinner here solo and several times with friends on the way to the Park Theatre. Food is lovely, portions generous and price is very reasonable. It's a very small restaurant, but the decor is interesing and it has a good atmosphere. Staff are excellent.

We visited this restaurant pre-theatre (it’s very near Park theatre) . Food was delicious, service fast and friendly , it has a really nice ambience and it was amazing value for money! Win win win !

This placed seemed a bit small and plain from outside, but we decided to stay for lunch and couldn't do better as the food was delicious and service was excellent. Some plates from cold meze, falafel (we had to re-order second plate as it was so tasty that disappeared in a second), shawerma, lamb - everything was just excellent. Really wish this nice place all the best!

Palmyra’s Kitchen located near Finsbury park station specializes in Lebanese food. I stumbled upon it while waiting for someone but since I only had 5 minutes I did not go in for the ice cream as they serve that mastic ice cream like the Turkish. After dinner, we decided to come here for ice cream since it was something different and we definitely got a surprise. For drinks we had the special Palmyra's Tea (Matteh)/mate. When the tea came, it was served in a wooden cup with a metal spoon we thought but it was a bombilla filtering spoon straw. Syrup is provided because the tea is super bitter. Overall, it was a good experience just to try it but just expect it to be bitter. When the ice cream came, it was a total surprise as they were in the form of slices and not scoops. It looked like pistachio ice cream roulade slices as well a mozzarella slices. The pistachio ice cream was certainly good as it was thick and chewy with delicious pieces of pistachio. To summarize, we were so glad we went here and got some proper mastic ice cream.

What a fabulous find, literally stumbled across Palmyra’s Kitchen after our planned lunch stop didn’t appeal and boy are we glad we found this gem! On entering we got instant holiday vibes, with the authentic decor and surroundings, service was fantastic and the food was amazing - the best and freshest mixed grill we have had for a long time! If you are in the area please give this place a try - you will not be disappointed!

Excellent food and service both times I've visited. Good value as well. First cisit we opted for smaller portions, but tbh they were more than ample for an early dinner. Second visit we had a long leisurely dinner, where we were treated well and allowed to take our time finishing a lot of good red wine.

We had a meal here just before going to the Park Theatre. The food was excellent and the main course portion was huge. It’s close to Finsbury Park station so it’s very well located. The service was friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend this place to future diners.

Perfect for pre theatre , service was excellent, menu different from all the run of the mill Middle Eastern , think could spent all night just working thro the mezas , good size portion and reasonably priced.probaly best to book as suspected when word goes round be a q at the door ,booking simple online

Me and my wife had a lovely meal here in late Jan 2022. Hassan looked after us, we went with his recommendations from the menu, they weren't the most expensive options but were both fantastic. The house wine was fine as well and overall it was a really nice meal. We'll be back

Three of us. Hungry. Seven gorgeous Mezze dishes later, not hungry at all, and very happy. Lovely atmosphere, everyone very friendly and helpful, and the food was brilliant.

We were looking for a lebanese restaurant open on Sunday but couldn't find one. Then I found this one open on Sunday so we decided to try it. The food was excellent and despite the very long menu they didn't say anything was not available. The wine was fine too. The portions are quite generous eg you get 8 stuffed vine leaves for a portion and very tasty too. The service was charming so we will certainly be back.

We wanted to find a restaurant near our hotel and wanted to try something different. The small restaurant was really nice, good food and nice service. Good place for trying something different. Will visit again :-)

This is a brilliant little place, tucked away near the station. Warm, friendly family vibe, smiley chefs, excellent food, all dishes really tasty and they happily brought out more though we couldn't finish the enormous portions we were given. A great find before going to the theatre, quick service which was good too. You can tell how much they are into what they do. Would highly recommend

Lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. Authentic Lebanese food cooked to perfection. Will travel a distance to eat there. Great service too, very helpful staff.
