Paesani in Sheffield

The first time I've actually eaten in, only ever got takeaway. The pizza tasted even better with it being served straight from the oven. The service was great and I was amazed by the amount of delivery drivers that turned up in the time I was there. It definitely shows how much people love Paesani, and so they should!

Possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten, please do not go so that there is more room for me.

The pizza itself was absolutely lovely and you could tell all the ingredients are freshly sourced, there is a wide range of toppings and something to suit every customer. Unfortunately we had to wait half a hour outside until our table was ready, when finally seated and the food came out, one of my friends pizza was forgotten about so everyone had finished their meals by the time it came out. The meal itself was great and the drinks menu had a great variety it was just a great shame about the missing pizza and long wait times. Hopefully if we come back again this won’t be an issue.

I had CARNI pizza last night and that was the worst pizza I have ever had. A piece of burnt bread and some ingredients with the worst smell on. A kind of herb that was absolutely awful. You could test the best pizzas in Hut and Dominos instead.

Removed some stars after being charged 10% extra in a takeaway today without notice. Usually eat in and have never had 10% added before. Really puts me off a place. Great food again on Monday (as always). Squeezed us in as a group of four before a booking and served us great pizza efficiently and we never felt rushed at all. Hopefully back again this afternoon!

Been here a few times, mostly takeaway but sat in for the first time recently. Always incredible pizza and lovely service, very polite and have no faults with any part of visiting here. Will be back many times in the future. Torta Della Nonna is incredible and would highly recommend it.

Nicest vegan cheese I’ve ever had on pizza. Came here once over a year ago and finally went back this weekend to see if it was as good as I remember..and it was. The service was quick and the atmosphere is really nice, cute little restaurant. I would say it’d be nice if there was garlic/chilli oil on the tables/menu as there usually is in pizza places.

Best Pizza in Sheffield for takeaway/delivery or in modest internal restaurant area (hence best to book as usually packed) Can be a squeeze and noisy, but all adds to the authentic Italian atmosphere and the Pizza's really are excellent.

Great pizza and a good wine list make Paesani a good choice when you're craving pizza The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere and everyone enjoyed themselves. This would have been a 5⭐ review but there were one or two disappointing things: The Antipasti salads just weren't great - neither the Burrata or Caprese had basil with them, the Olive Oil didn't make an appearance and the tomatoes were neither rainbow nor sliced. They were in fact very cold cherry tomatoes that set your teeth on edge. The service was slow and disjointed with the food, especially the pizzas, seeming to arrive quite randomly. We were a party of 3 and after waiting quite a while the antipasti salads appeared just two or 3 minutes before two of the pizzas while the other pizza came more than 5 minutes later. Overall Paesani is a good local restaurant that serves great pizzas but seems to be a victim of it's own success. Take away orders were constantly going out of the door which was probably why the pizzas for diners didn't arrive when they probably should have.

My pal Josh just ordered this for dinner and OMG! As far as I can remember this is the best most authentic pizza I’ve ever had. Literally the opposite of big chain pizza. This is authentic, adventurous, steeped in culture and unbelievably tasty. Giaconto I salute you 🇮🇹

Food arrived on time, but the pizza looked like it had been dropped, as most if not all the filling was in the box, and not on my pizza. Not impressed as first time order, although what was there was rally nice.

This place just gets better in terms of flavour and the selection of pizzas are for everyone. Even the chips are delicious. It's friendly and the ambience is good. Service it's fast despite being super busy.

I ordered two pizzas, mixed fry and chips. Very good pizzas with traditional flavors. I don't recommend mixed fried food, it's definitely the frozen one, it mainly tastes like oil. Overall not bad, certainly better than Dominos...

Very disappointed. Have been wanting to try a pizza from here for ages heard very good reviews about it. We had one last night and the dought was very tough and chewy. Even the pizza cutter wouldn't go through it. The cheesy garlic bread was the same and the cheese was only in the middle and not up to the edges. Might have been a one off due to being busy and popular. I might try again in the future. And hope it's better than what we received last night.

Great ambiance, ideal for either couples or a family. Pizzas are probably the best in Sheffield. Shared a starter which was a burrito I think, it was simply sublime. Nothing to dislike.

We’ve had takeaways from here a few times. The food is always delicious and the staff are lovely. Be prepared to wait they get very busy and work very hard. Watching them work while you wait is mesmerising. Highly recommend ❤️

Best pizza in Sheffield! Really recommend it for a sit in meal, great vibes and genuinely lovely staff. Definitely leave some room for desert as well - we got tiramisu and pistachio ice cream and it blew us away. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely lovely! Very friendly waitress, who had a very impressive memory! All of our orders were exactly correct, and they were happy with us mixing and matching pizza toppings! Extremely delicious pizzas that were beautifully presented! Amazingly fast service - we received our pizzas after only about ten minutes for a party of five! (Although the restaurant was basically empty) The decor inside is also beautiful!

Always love the pizza here. There are other good pizza places but this is the best in Sheffield (imo)..... Keeps getting better. Excellent balance between Neapolitan and more well cooked varieties. Puddings also improved a lot.

Always a fantastic pizza at Paesani! A firm favourite and one of (if not THE) best pizza establishments in Sheffield. Well priced, quick service, very friendly and a great spot in Crookes. Starters are lovely too but beware the pizzas are very big so make sure you save some space! They do a pizza sandwich which is nice if you pop in for lunch or don’t quite have the appetite for a full pizza. Also do takeaways, why not pop into one of the local independent beer houses and have a quick one whilst you’re waiting! Overall a brilliant choice… you won’t regret your decision!

Ate here last week, we had Mortadella and burrata, capricciosa and a margarita pizzas, they were delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

Lovely wood fired pizza. Great selection of toppings including veggie and vegan. Busy restaurant even for take out so be prepared to wait - but do wait as it's worth it! Reasonably priced too

Fab first trip here, really well-priced delicious pizza, plenty of choices for toppings but everything was really well made. Had my fave ham and artichoke pizza, some of the best topping flavours I have tried in Sheff. Great value even for a student as a treat. Keep it up :D

Never knew about this place before, we found it on UberEats yesterday having very high ratings already (probably they must have extended their delivery radius to reach S8). We couldn’t be happier, the pizzas were divine, both dough and toppings were spot on, perfectly baked, perfect crust, all the ingredients are fresh and of good quality(the cheese and the olives..yummy), well seasoned. The menu has lots of different options, we tried the tuna and the capricciosa. Was really difficult to stop eating and save a slice for the next day! Thank you, without doubt I’ll be reordering. Considering the distance, it was delivered reasonably quick and pizzas were still hot. 👍🏼 ⭐️

Came with a small group two nights ago for a celebration meal. My pizza was burnt on the base and the waiter must have overheard me mention this to my table. Although I said it wasn’t a problem (the pizza was still tasty and these things happen!) the restaurant staff kindly insisted they make me another pizza. The new pizza came out within a few minutes and was tasted even better than the previous one. Fantastic food, exemplary service and warm atmosphere! Definitely would recommend.
