Service is very poor here. The manager has no customer service whatsoever. We were a table of 4 and have been in the restaurant for over 2 hours. The drinks took over half hour to come. The manager is also arrogant and would walk off whilst we were trying to explain the issues at present. I have been to opuz before but a different branch and I would avoid this restaurant if you are a bigger group as you’ll be waiting until next year for service. Other than that the food was nice when it is hot.

I have seriously never had such a wonderful experience at a restaurant. The staff was amazing. They were very on point with everything from beginning to end. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the cold sampler platter, two of them actually. They were so delicious. Our platters of food were plentiful and amazing. After our meal the tables were cleared and wiped so we had a clean skate for our dessert. We had a birthday to celebrate and they came out with the cake and played music throughout the restaurant. It was superb. They even cut our cake and served it with gloves on. So clean and sanitary. Thank you for everything. Wish you were located in America!! We will be back when we return to visit family in a few months. Appreciate everything.

We are down visiting from York for the weekend and researched local restaurants to eat with our young children. Well let me tell you that not one element of our experience at OPUZ was anything short of 5 stars. In fact if you could give more, I would. Booked in advance, was seated straight away and handed our menus. We were not pestered before being ready to order. The food we ordered was absolutely fantastic and the presentation was great too. The dry ice gimmick when ordering cocktails is also a big plus, not something you see everyday and the kids loved it. If we ever come down again we will be sure to visit again. Well done to all the staff at OPUZ, the front of house, the waiters and waitresses, the kitchen staff and the bar staff should all be aware that they are knocking out a top top quality experience. Thank you

UNBELIEVABLE 5 Star SERVICE From General Manager and staff. On my sister’s 60th birthday, we arrived at the restaurant and were greeted by the general manager at the door. He escorted us to our table and made arrangements for my disabled mother to access her chair. I then proceeded to the restrooms. A restaurant’s bathrooms are often a reliable indicator of its overall quality, and this establishment exceeded all expectations. The restrooms were immaculate, clean, and exuded an excellent aroma. The service we received at this restaurant was exceptional. I ordered the salmon steak, which was prepared to perfection. My sister and others were served delectable dishes that they highly recommended. Upon returning, I informed the manager that it was my sister’s 60th birthday. He responded by informing me that I should have mentioned it during the reservation. I promptly said, I did when I made the reservation. He said please wait and personally brought a lovely cake adorned with flowing dry ice and accompanied by a song of “Happy Birthday.” This gesture made the experience truly unforgettable. At the end of our meal… 😜❤️😍 My sister expressed her desire to cover the bill. I contacted the manager and inquired whether I should pay the bill or if my sister should do so. He kindly advised me that I should pay the bill. I honored his request and left a generous tip. I must admit that I eagerly anticipate returning to this restaurant. If you seek exceptional food at an affordable price, this five-star establishment offers an unparalleled dining experience, ensuring that all patrons are treated with respect and dignity. Spontaneously popped into Opuz Kitchen as was hungry.. delicious food, excellent quality of service and the drinks were so good.. all in all 10/10 and the best decision on the spot to dine here. Clean, great atmosphere, kind and considerate staff.

Great restaurant! You wouldn't believe you were in Hemel Hempstead town. We tried the lunchtime menu and the food is delicious. The host/waiter was very attentive with great eye for detail. Bathrooms are very clean and sparkly. Well worth a visit.

Went to Opuz Hemel Hempstead for a birthday party. Mumin and his staff are so accommodating and very polite. Everyone is smiling and the service is not hurried. We enjoyed our time.

The food was delicious I shared the opus special starter and had the mixed fish skewer it was all cooked perfectly and went together amazingly but the only thing better was the service they where attentive but not overbearing and where right there when you needed them

We dined here for a family get together and were 11 of us. Food was superb and well presented. Outstanding attentiveness by our waitress and concierge and team members very friendly. Surroundings and furnishings are quirky with a great ambiance.

Had a lovely birthday meal here this evening.food fabulous staff very attentive, took us right back to Turkey , highly recommend , 10/10 plenty of food had to bring some home , (dogs very happy!!!) Thanks

Best restaurant in Hemel. Food, atmosphere, service and overall experience are top notch for Hemel Hempstead. I am regular customer and highly recommend to try their crème chicken, it is so tasty and well made. I see a new chefs and I think the food was better than ever before. Service excellent without been too intrusive. All in all my favourite restaurant. 👌

Manager Mohman was rude and tried to send us away - a family with kids on Mother’s Day despite the fact we had a reservation. Didn’t even look for the name I clearly gave him at the beginning and let the queue go in front of us- smiled when my longer name didn’t show up. Caused me a lot of stress and never apologised.

Wouldn’t recommend. Decided to try somewhere out of London and was very disappointed with the service as well as the food. Staff and manager were very dismissive of us, left us waiting for our food for an hour, spilled my food on the table didn’t even bother to clean it ( I had to dust it off the table), and just purely forgot about us, food was undercooked - my lamb shish was so undercooked I couldn’t cut through it or chew it. Neighbouring table was also the same as we shared a look of disappointment while waiting for staff to approach. I’d also like to note, being sat near the grill really opened my eyes - they use Goodfella’s frozen pizza!! Shocked me! However, once it was time to pay for the bill, they straightaway came to clear the table and take payment even though it took them ages to serve us! 1000% wouldn’t recommend.

You confirmed ready for collection at 19.20. At restaurant and at 19.26 they are only just starting to cook it…… Food excellent xx

The food must be very good, for sure. I say this because I have only had here the lamb shish, which is beyond what we call good. It is amazing/fantastic level it is a treat, nothing else to say. The atmosphere is chic, elegant, the decors are classy, the waiters are elegant and overall I like and recommend this place. They also have good cocktails and ask for the smoke show, it is worth everything!
