We had a wonderful experience at Opuz for our son's 5th birthday dinner. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. To top it off, the staff surprised him with a heartfelt "Happy Birthday" song and a delicious cake, making the evening extra special. Highly recommend!

Hemel’s best restaurant by a landslide. Food, service and experience is as luxury as it comes, with the exception of price… incredibly reasonable for what you get.

I have been going to OPUZ in Hemel for years and it is one of my favourite Turkish restaurants! However… i went today for my birthday meal and i think the restaurant is under new management. Food tasted different and a very rude manager. We ordered the royal platter and have always been given complimentary turkish teas however today they charged us £15 for Turkish teas! I was happy to pay it but i thought let me ask. The waiter went and asked the manager and he came over to me and said i will never take it off the bill! I was a bit gob smacked as i only asked! I think he needs some customer service training! However they did give me a little free cake for my birthday! So thank you. I will not be returning here and i am really sad about it as it was my favourite! Let’s hope Watford one is better!

I was here for the first time at this restaurant with friends on my birthday. The food was delicious, the service was very nice and the surprise with the cake was wonderful, thank you and I recommend it 🥰

Food are top quality. We ordered the share platter with the lamb ribs and chops. They are fresh and juicy. Service is great and warm. We are not based in hemel, but definitely will go back.

The food at Opuz is absolutely phenomenal. Authentic Turkish cuisine, and the atmosphere is so calming and beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and honestly, could not fault a single thing. Oh! And the Lychee Martini is delicious, you must try!

Lovely authentic food and atmosphere. However…. Do not order an alcoholic drink that comes with ice as you will get zero drink and a glass of ice. AND IT WILL COST YOU £13.00. They do not respond to an unhappy customer by doing the decent thing.

I had an amazing dining experience at Opuz Hemel! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the [signature dish]—it was out of this world! Overall, a fantastic meal and a place I'll definitely be returning to!

Everything was perfect, food was extremely tasty and staff were very professional and lovely! The manager welcomed us in a very warm way and we've been served by Alina. She was also very nice with us. Its not the first time at Opuz, we knew its going to be like this and we will always come back to this restaurant 😍

Love the atmosphere and the food is fantastic and you have to order the cocktails! The signature cocktails are amazing. Highly recommend Opuz signature and Chilli kiss! The manager and the staff service was also top notch! Perfect evening for us.

First visit but won’t be our last. Booking very easy via the restaurants website, slightly old fashioned check in, booking checked in a ledger rather than online. There were 2 of us dining but instead of giving us a small table for 2 the head waiter directed us to a four seat table. We weren’t hurried at all, in fact we were at the table for over 2 hours but it didn’t feel the service was slow. Food was excellent, distinctive marinades we hadn't experienced before but delicious. Bill a little pricey for outside London but the restaurant is obviously top market in Hemel. Overall a great experience!

I went here for my birthday, the staff here made it a really great experience. The food was amazing and after finding out it was my birthday brought dessert in a plate with happy birthday and dry ice on the table to make it special.

We ate here this evening for our son’s birthday. The food was extremely good and the service from all staff exceptional. The sea bass was cooked to perfection. The dry ice at the table for a birthday effect was great fun. We would definitely recommend eating here

We celebrated my son’s 18th Birthday here on November 17th and all the staff and manager could not have been anymore accommodating. They put banners up for my son and decorated his cake and really went out their way to make the evening one to remember which we have. The good was 10/10. I can not recommend enough. We will most definitely be back.

Visited with a group of colleagues on a damp and dreary Wednesday evening but had a warm welcome at the restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful through the evening, even remembered who each coat belonged to when they returned them after the meal. The moussaka was excellent and really filling.

Very good food. A waiter brought dry ice to the table and the steam spread all over the table there was so much and it was so cool and we loved it 🥰. You can even change the colour of the light to many different shades. Definitely worth it and definitely coming back here.👍
