Ooh Lou Lou Cakery in Hackney

Ooh Lou Lou hizo nuestros pasteles de boda en junio del año pasado: tuvimos tres en total, todos sin gluten y totalmente deliciosos. Esperaba algunas sobras pero no había una sola migaja: todos los invitados estaban entusiasmados con ellas. Los chicos fueron muy serviciales prestándonos pasteles también. Mi esposo nos consiguió otro pastel de novia para nuestro primer aniversario y no me da vergüenza decir que nos burlamos del lote. ¡Delicioso!

Después de haber oído grandes cosas sobre los pasteles en Ooh Lou Lou Cakery, decidí disfrutar. Me sentí decepcionado hasta la médula cuando vi la parte que me habían dado. Teniendo en cuenta el precio, esperaría más por mi dinero. Pedí un pastel de zanahoria, que no sabía mejor que un equivalente de supermercado. Le doy dos estrellas simplemente porque todavía sabía bien (no me importa el pastel de zanahoria del supermercado). La foto adjunta no hace justicia a lo pequeña que era la porción.

¡Nos encanta conseguir algunos pasteles o cupcakes aquí! ¡Así de delicioso y siempre tenemos que dejar de comprar más! Siempre son muy amables y conversadores también!

Debo agradecer a Lou por mi maravilloso pastel de cumpleaños, fue excelente y mi terciopelo rojo favorito. Todos mis invitados han estado delirando sobre lo bonito que era. No pensé que tu estándar podría mejorar pero estaba equivocado. Muchas gracias, debe haberte llevado años para hacerlo.

Helen y yo nos casamos recientemente, y Lou y el equipo hicieron los pasteles más increíbles para nosotros, exactamente lo que pedimos, muy bien hechos, entregados a tiempo, buen precio, gente encantadora, ¡y los pasteles tenían un sabor excelente! No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. Ed

This place is so rad. Probs some of the best gf treats around. Been 3/4 times and have never been disappointed. Love it. Very nice peeps working there too. Will keep going back.

I used to love this place (their red velvet cake used to be delicious) but unfortunately it's the second time I buy cupcakes that are really stale. This usually happens on a Sunday so maybe avoid going there on a Sunday.

The best cakes in London, if not England. The red velvet cake is to die for as are the cup cakes. Stop for piece of cake and cup of coffee . Staff lovely and friendly.

A couple of weeks before my son's 3rd birthday party I dropped into the store to see whether they made gluten and dairy free chocolate cake to order. They did - a rare GF/DF victory already! So I ordered a long rectangular chocolate cake with choc icing and my son's name on the top... and that's exactly what they had ready waiting for me on the morning of his party, as I requested. So that in itself was the service you'd expect. But as anyone who's eaten GF/DF chocolate cake before knows, there's no guarantee it's going to taste any good especially if you usually like your cakes full of flour and cream as I do. I can confirm that the entire, deliciously chocolatey cake was devoured within 20 mins by kids and parents alike, with lots of people requesting second helpings. If you're looking for a free from cake look no further - you won't be disappointed! I'll be back for more and have recommended them to every GF/DF local person I know.

Attempted to email email regarding enquiry for 50+ cupcakes for my 30th birthday, received 1 email which wasnt helpful, after visiting the store was told the owner was too busy, left details with a young member of staff who didnt have a clue about anything i was asking and was told to come back at a less busier time, even after leaving my contact details the owner never responded, was told she will call me back never received any phone call.This is not exceptional and will not be buying or enquiring about anything again

This place never fails to deliver on providing light and moist cupcakes with a delicious variety of not-too-sweet frosting flavours.
