One Dee Thai Restaurant in Cannock Chase

Excellent food, service and prices. The place is also very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and proffesional. One of the best Tai restaurants that I visited ...included the ones in Thailand. We were in 4 and had a mix of the daily menu and the a la carte dishes.

First visit. Everything was excellent will certainly return. Beware of 3 chillies can't image what 5 chillies will taste like.

Great food and attentive service. Was very impressed with this new restaurant. The sliced beef salad was very very spicy though with 3 chilli's on the menu! Would recommend the restaurant. We attended on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full shortly after we walked in!

The food were delicious, the restaurant closing time is 11:00pm but their kitchen closes at 10:30pm, we went there last minute and they let us to order some food and dine in, which is very nice of them, all of the staff seemed to be pleasant, the price for the food seemed to be reasonable as well. Note we made the pre order over the phone at 10:30pm over the phone first.

Happy to echo the other reviews, my new favourite take away and place to order from in Cannock. Food is delicious and the service is so friendly as well. Always a true treat. EDIT** 9 months later - just as good. Consistent 5 stars.

Very nice food, friendly service. Gelt a bit let down by the dessert menu and after dinner coffee option but aside from that, this one of the best Thai meals I have had so far.

Quaint little family run place where you are greeted with a smile and service thstbis top notch. The food was to die for, really tasty and great portion size too. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area, we will be back if we are ever back down from Scotland. ❤️

Food was delicious. Careful if you don’t like spice as one of the tamer dishes was a bit spicy. Delivery was delayed due to traffic but that can’t be helped. Driver was very nice and polite. Overall excellent experience. Will order again.

Food was delicious and beautifully presented but although staff were friendly service was slow: this did not put us off this resturant, as the positives significantly outweighed the negatives and it could have been just a busy night.

First visit came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Service was excellent food delicious and staff professional and friendly. Will defiantly go back again and try more of their delicious food.

This place is something else…The Staff and the food is absolutely out of this world and top notch authentic cuisine - We would not go anywhere else for Thai food. We can’t wait to bring our Thai friends here at Christmas

Came to this restaurant for a large family as it was my sisters birthday she loves Thai food. The staff was fantastic! Amazing effort, kind and very good. The food was fresh, and it tastes very authentic. I will definitely come again, I don't live in the area and saw great reviews. I 💯 recommend coming here. Many thanks to everyone there. The best Thai restaurant I've been to in a long time. We went for lunch and the service was very friendly and helpful. As some of us were vegetarian, we were offered the option to have the food prepared without fish sauce. The food tasted excellent and the presentation was lovely. I would highly recommend One Dee and will definitely be back soon

Booked a table for two and received a warm welcome on arrival and was shown to our table. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and is nicely decorated.The service was excellent we had a set meal and the food was absolutely lovely. I certainly recommended for you to try this place. We will definitely be coming again. Left so full ha ha feeeeew!!

Been ordered Pad Kee Mao noodles but nowhere on their menu it says they hot (i mean extremely hot). I am not a spicy food eater so i had to bin it. Quality is good, delivered on time. Some food is spicy and are saying in the menu but some they saying nothing but still spicy.

This was a last minute saviour after let down by a local restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food excellent. We all had a different curry with rice and shared starters. All in all great value and service. Will be back soon.

Favourite place to eat, love the food and service excellent

Family meal this evening with two young children. (Parents are regulars but our first time). We all absolutely loved the food and cannot wait to try some other dishes next time. Staff are very attentive without being over the top. For us, a childs option would be really helpful, even just one. Thai is a little out there for our children, and unfortunately just having chips isn't ideal. They did allow us to take some extras from home for our children to eat (confirmed on booking) which was really appreciated. We cannot wait to return. Thanks for a great evening!

Food was really late said was delivered when it qasnt so I tried to ring but no luck then 15 mins later it turned up. By that time it was cold and not what I expected won't be ordering from here again.

The food is lovely but twice now I've ordered tofu and veg in garlic sauce it just comes with barely any tofu, it has about 2 pieces in it but the dish is nearly £11. I think it's a heck of alot of money anyway for the dish but for it to barely have the main ingredients it's a bit of a robbery tbh, it's a shame cause it tastes really nice.

This time we ordered: Beef green curry (again) Chicken red curry Pad kee mao Chicken toast We asked for a little more curry sauce/liquid and this time they filled the takeaway box up to the top 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Whilst the beef curry is only🌶️ hot, and the red curry 🌶️🌶️ hot, the first time we could not really notice any chili heat or flavour, so when ordering this time asked for a slight 🤏 increase, and it was absolutely spot on❤️‍🔥 I haven't had Thai food this good in over ten years. The pad kee mao is the best we have ever had, the curries are so packed with fresh aromatic flavour it gave us deep feelings 😍 The boxes of food were gloriously portioned this time. Previous review: To start: We ordered the Thai pork dumplings to share. Main: We shared a green beef curry and Penang duck curry. We want to give 4 solid stars for food, five stars for service. The bad/sad: We were VERY sad with the lack of curry sauce/broth. This is Thai food? Thai curry is traditionally, generously wet and soupy, and Western style is usually thicker but still saucey. The takeaway experience didn't match up to the dine-in restaurant with generous bowls of curry, we felt a little cheated with the takeaway. Both curries barely filled the box HALF way. These aren't deep takeaway boxes. The skinny sort. We thought the meat quantity was generous and appropriately priced, but the curry left us with barely anything to slurp or pour over rice. It lacked wetness and heat. So, not very traditional there. But read on because it gets better. We review first time places very carefully, so we removed the meat and measured the quantity of curry liquid in each curry, neither contained more volume than 150-187ml in each dish. The portions in the skinny takeaway box are certainly not the generous bowls of delicious and rich coconut soup/curry sauce you expect with Thai food. It made for a disappointing eat, especially as the flavour was so, so good. The restaurant dishes look appropriate. Maybe it's only worth dining-in. The v. good: We are so glad we found ✨this place✨. Thai food has gone on a downward spiral in the USA and UK in the last decade. We have eaten in both countries. This place make curries with tremendous and traditionally developed flavours. Homemade pastes, incredibly aromatic, pieces of galangal present, loads of herbs! We knew as soon as we opened the lid the smell was CORRECT.. It has restored some faith in UK Thai food. The traditional heat was absent, but really didn't mind the adaption of heat at all, because all the flavour was there and perfectly balanced. They have raised the bar. We would specify a little more heat next time. The meat in the curry was generous and of very good quality. We would order both curries again, and probably will, if the restaurant would make some tweaks! The shumai pork dumplings were juicy morsels with nice sweet-soy and garlic/chilli paste dips, with pickles. The dumplings were Chinese Dim Sum. Decent, but unremarkable. The great: The service was outstanding for takeaway, they called us, because we had a difficult delivery address (delivery to a motorhome), they checked details first, very polite and efficient, as was their delivery.

Staff so lovely can't do enough for you. Had the Sunday lunchtime menu. Very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. One of the best curries I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back and highly recommend for a great meal with excellent service.

Highly recommend this place. We went as group of 6. Can genuinely say the food was super tasty, authentic food (being Thai myself). The waiters were very polite can speak both Thai and English. We had platers, fish cakes for starters and numerous dishes from the main. There’s plenty of parking at the back of the restaurant.

First time we have visited but would definately recommend and return. The food was delicious and beautifully presented with very prompt service.

Food was exceptional. Pad Thai was delicious and stayed warm on the 20 minute drive home. Would highly recommend the chicken in sirracha sauce. Food was ready on arrival. Friendly welcome from staff when I popped in as well. I have to admit that the restaurant is really nice and I would like to eat in next time to try it. Worth the money and the food was some of the best Thai I’ve had.

Super lekker gegeten. Alle (bestelde) gerechten zijn vol van smaak, overheerlijk, fenomenaal. Er zijn gewoon geen superlatieven om de smaak te beschrijven. De bediening is buitengewoon. Als je eens lekker wil eten, is dit 'the place to be'. Prijs is hier gewoon niet van belang!
