Olympus Bakery and Cafe in Wakefield

Great little cafe run by a very enthusiastic young couple, we are gradually eating our way down the menu of authentic Greek food, they import ingredients from Greece, and we would say that everything is “para poly nostimo!” (Very very tasty) As someone else has stated elsewhere a wonderful addition to Ossett and they seem to have a loyal clientele who appreciate their food and friendly atmosphere. So if you haven’t been there yet come on give it a try, you never know, you may wonder why you didn’t go in before. Efcaristome, keep on serving the good food and they will come. Outstanding chicken gyros! I had the double Pitta... I have a big appetite and fair to say next time I would share it. We also had the gyros platter which half went home in a box for later. Genuine Greek quality food. Will definatley be back (often!) and looking forward to having their hand made, on premises, daily Desserts with a coffee

Just had the mixed kebab platter ,excellent Greek food with haloumi added on the side (love haloumi) ,staff great as well. Beats any takeaway on Saturday night with authentic Greek style food.

This newly opened Greek Bakery and Cafe is a fabulous addition to our little town. The young Greek couple who own it source their ingredients from Greece, so everything is authentic and prepared to genuine Greek recipes. It has become a favourite spot for many, particularly for the traditional breakfast Bougatsa- a gorgeous warm pastry. We order it at any time of day despite it being a breakfast speciality. The savoury recipes are equally good - all available to eat in or take out, or for delivery. An excellent choice of coffees and drinks, the 5-star hygiene rating and the warmest welcome by the owners, make it a wonderful place to eat.
