Olive Tree in Mid Suffolk

Really great food and the chap that I assume is the owner is so personable, however the girl is very rude and untrained in any customer skills, she clearly would rather be anywhere else but working there, It’s such a shame as this has made us reluctant to go in there. She really upset my daughter in law with her critical look and smirk, thankfully she then returned to her phone screen.

Best kebab I’ve had in a long time! Mixed chicken and lamb shish. Tender, hot and very tasty chilli sauce

The pizza was amazing so many different types! And better than you’d expect it to be at a kebab/ takeaway place, would definitely go again want to go again soon! Would be great for the summer and then take the food to the lake with the family

Absolutely disgusted. My first time at this kebab house, the meal looked ok however the chicken was uncooked and pink throughout. A young girl serving, had tried to phone 5 times to place an order but she was too busy talking to a friend perhaps to pick up the phone.... worst service, shame it's the only kebab house. Disappointed.

They used to be ok before they moved but the owner is hardly there and it’s just kids running it. Re-fried crusty hard chips and to top it all off I found a long hair in mine tonight, obviously from the girl who was serving behind the till.

Unable to order online, web site not working o can't look at menu at home. I have been a regular customer and enjoy the food.

I got my stepdad to order me the veggie burger so when he got home with the food, I took about two bites of it to quickly realise that this tastes and has the texture of meat. As I opened the burger to see what was inside I found that there was also bacon in it. I havent had meat in nearly two years and eating in my accident made me feel really sick - I had to throw up. Not going back as I really don’t want to risk it. If you are vegeterian, vegan or have any kind of allergies I wouldn’t recommend this place because they might mess up your order.

Olive tree massively improved since they first opened. The food is always top notch and made fresh! They have a range of meals and sides to order on their menu. We always look forward to our meals. The customer service are friendly and the food is worth the money.

Love these guys! They are friendly and the food is great. They don't mind deviating from the menu a little. Opens at 2pm. All looks hygienic. Best chips for miles :)

Disappointing visit! We ordered one gluten free meal to take away that means no bread at all! Once outs side after 30min wait opening up the take away it had bread! It went back but very disappointing visit no real understanding of food allergy!

This was the first time we had used the Olive Tree, having only recently moved to the area. My partner had a 'special' mixed kebab. She found that the meat was quite tasteless and so greasy that it made the pita soggy. I had the bacon deluxe burger which was quite tasty but far from the best I've had with chips which were perfect, crisp, golden, not greasy. There was also a bacon burger on the menu. Since my burger was simply a burger with some salad and a rasher of bacon, i'd like to know, what did I get for my extra 50p that I wouldn't have got on a bacon burger ? We will probably try the Olive Tree again as locals have told us that the pizzas are good here and the shop was certainly very busy when we went to collect our food so presumably the typical Olive Tree customer is a pizza lover.

Ordered online, using an app that said we would get a a code for a 30% discount. This didn't come through so we phoned them to be told our order would take 45mins. We arrived about 30 mins later to find it all ready siting on top of the grill, When we mentioned the discount , we were met with total apathy and unhelpfulness.. It can only be used once, we were told. This was our First time and will definately be the LAST. Had we not have been so hungry, we would have walked away, without the order, all six of us. !!!! Food was ok. Service dreadful.

Had a portion of donor meat and could literally pour the grease out. Food isnt very tasty. One young girl that works here has her hair up in a band with multiple clips yet half her hair is around her face. Personally find this disgusting around food service.

Popped in, having seen it before, during visit to Needham to pick something up. Quick friendly service. Cash only (ATMs nearby). Took our pizzas in boxes to Needham Lake, a short walk through tunnel under railway, for a picnic. Great pizza. Range of choices on menu. Also does kebabs, pasta, salads etc. And has tables inside. Very clean. 5 hygiene rating. Will go again. One of several branches in region, see website.
