Ole And Steen in Camden

La comida estaba bien, aunque algunas cosas parecían un poco seco o rancio. El problema principal era que nuestra experiencia estaba dominada por perros de otras personas. En primer lugar, la gente sentada en una mesa muy cercana a mí tenía un perro que se comportaba bien sentado debajo de la mesa. Podía oler ese olor a perro mojado y me quitó un poco la comida. Después de que esos clientes se fueron otra pareja entró con otro perro que se sentaron en el banco a mi lado. Una vez más este perro se portó perfectamente bien, pero me sentí incómodo de tener un perro tan cerca del nivel de mi cara, especialmente mientras como. Me ha apartado de la panadería y realmente no me cae que la política de perros es justa con otros clientes.

Mi marido acaba de intentar comprar un café para un anciano muy frío sentado fuera del café. El personal le dijo que su política era no permitir que se dieran bebidas a las personas sin hogar. Mi esposo dijo que lo compraría en una taza para llevar, así que a quién le importa quién lo bebió. Dijeron que sabían que se lo daría al hombre y no querían animarlo. El hombre escuchó lo que se le dijo y parecía completamente humillado y creído. Qué mundo vivimos. Nunca más les compraré.

Caliente , ruidoso , muy caro y el servicio que era LENTO . Pedí un reembolso en bebidas. No hay suficiente personal, mesas sucias. Sin agua del grifo

Era mi primera vez en este establecimiento. Tomé un café con leche de coco y estuvo bien. Era un ambiente agradable y esto fue antes de ir a un restaurante. Un buen stop gap. No sé si volvería solo porque he tomado mejor café con leche de coco. El personal era lo suficientemente amable.

Friday morning I popped into the Mortimer Street branch to buy some cakes for presents. I was greeted and serviced with a team of people that were upbeat positive which I really noticed as I find these days everything can be a little boring and negative. Their service really stood out and I wanted to say thank you for making my day!

It’s very good and I highly recommend the Hampstead one it’s very good very friendly and afforded very good quality and very nice people

Visited your Wigmore Street Branch for lunch we were served by Shah who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about recommendations for your products. I had difficulty deciding what to order. He was charming and polite, can’t wait to visit again.

I have read several bad reviews particularly Chris’s review and totally agree. Went to Hampstead branch at 5:27. My wife ordered a coffee asking for it to be in a china cup and I ordered a hot chocolate. The Barista preparing the drinks treated us like the enemy and tried to serve the drinks in paper cups. We complained that we had asked for china cups and she said that one can’t be served with china cups as only paper cups were served at this time! We strongly complained to her and she stuck to her guns! It was only after I demanded our money back and went to the girl who originally took our order and said we were leaving! She asked the Barista to serve us in china cups as she had admitted that she had not told us that we had to have our drinks in paper cups! The barista served our drinks and I can honestly say my hot chocolate was truly the worst hot chocolate I have ever had! It was weak and I left half of it. My wife stated that her coffee was mediocre! The management seem to be invisible and I can only say DONT GO THERE

Ordered sandwich, paid with tap & go. Professional person, lots in bank & credit good. My transaction was referred to manager by staff - they whisper...both staff & manager seemed unable to tell me if I had paid or not or if transaction had worked. "We cannot release the food until you prove to us you have paid - refer to your bank" was manager reply. I reply "This is your responsibility to confirm my payment or not & provide a receipt"- stoneface response. Left shop fuming. Checked later. They had taken my money. Must be till error but zilch customer service. Forget this Hampstead branch. I left & took my complaint to Soho branch who reviewed situation & were most gracious & apologetic & provided my sandwich.

Lovely breakfast, enjoyed the sausage and egg skagen roll, and very good coffee. Friendly customer service. Lovely experience

Ole and Steen were doing a brisk trade in take away sandwiches. The tables inside the cafe remained uncleared, so I had to clear one myself. Sandwiches were fine, coffee ok. Toilets not so well kept and require a key code to enter.

I went to Hampstead branch on Saturday morning,the customer service is appalling. we were the only customers and I had to ask to be served, the place was dirty and it is very pricey

Avoid at all costs, the staff are awful it’s always chaotic and it has been reported to Camden Council as rats have been seen in the shop. There are far better patisseries to choose from in the area.

I refer to your branch on Chiswick High Road, London. My criticism is not related to the food, drinks or service which are all without fault. Your High Road branch has four extremely comfortable outside tables which are a wonderful asset. Until very recently all of these tables have been designated “no smoking” indicated by stickers on the surface of each table. It has been noticed that the stickers have recently been scratched off one by one. This has coincided with, what appear to be, the Ole and Steen staff increasingly occupying the tables during breaks and seemingly entertaining their friends at these outside tables on completion of their shifts. Many of the occupants of these tables at these times are smokers and are using this area as a smoking area. Is this, or is this not a “no smoking” area? Since this has begun to happen, the ambience of this section of your otherwise exceptional bakery has been ruined for regular customers who have come to value what was a wonderful, valued and sought after space to enjoy your fayre.

I went on Sunday. An uncleared table outside remained that way until my partner cleared it. No apology and the table wasn't cleaned. Placed an order fir food that is clearly not made on the premises and they don't accept cash. My son ordered a chicken roll, no choice of bread. The roll was full of salad, mayo, mustard and hardly any chicken. Went inside to get a knife. I was told someone would bring one out - they didn't. Chaotic, unpleasant - don't waste your time or money.

Horrific - if I could I would award 0 ⭐️’s. So, where to begin. The store is in utter disarray, staff wandering aimlessly, management chatting happily in the food prep area whilst customers are kept waiting. One team member is dedicated to fulfilling Deliveroo orders whilst in-house customers are ignored. Finally I manage to speak to a sales assistant who tells me “ they are on their break “. They begrudgingly and I mean it is a painful process, agree to serve me and if it could get any worse it does. They appear to be unable to use the till, unable to process the coffee order and mid way they walk away and I don’t see them again! I ask to speak with the manager who agrees the staff are woeful! As for the cafe experience the loos were disgusting. All in all the worst, most frustrating experience I have EVER encountered. If ever a store needed a visit from head office this is it! If ever a

Badly managed branch . Barista's don't seem comptent and the staff certainly did not have a welcoming smile ...they seemed pretty stressed ! It was a busy bank holiday , the toilets were filthy and the tables were not being cleaned up quick enough for customers to sit . the coffee and teas were just average for a trendy establishment !

Staying locally in Hampstead and called here before shopping .Ordered various food and drink items. We had turkey breast toasties, americano with milk ,flat white ,apple pie and spandauer .Everything looked really good and all very tasty. My flat white was just right

The staff are slow, do not smile, and are dismissive. They have absolutely no gluten free offerings in the whole place. Given the other coffee shops in Hampstead I am surprised this survives. Will never go again. Rude and unhelpful
