Oishii Street Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in the city. I've dined in the restaurant and had takeaway, and the food is incredible either way. The staff at the restaurant are lovely, and the atmosphere is brilliant. I've had quite a few different burgers from this restaurant, and each one has consistently been brilliant. I've had both the meat burgers and the vegan burgers, and they both hold up. They have good dietary options (vegan, gluten free) with allergens clearly listed on their online menu. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more, and I tell pretty much anyone who will listen that they have to try this place out.

We'd booked ourselves into a comedy night at The Bowling House around the corner, but since the favourite burger of my other half was off the menu there we wanted to find somewhere else to eat. Cue the Oishii Street Kitchen, tucked away in a little residential nook just off the Dereham Road. First of all, we over-ordered. The bowl on its own was almost enough for me and we didn't really need the bao buns on top. This was a shame because I'd wanted to try one of the desserts too. The taste, presentation, and portions were all great though, and the booze licence meant we could get cold beers on a hot sunny day too (some of the tables were outside so Al Fresco dining is possible). The food is very moreish, and I'd like to return to try some of the wings to see what the spice is like. I had the Bibimbap Bowl and she the Vegan Godzilla burger, and an assortment of side dishes to share. Service was attentive but not intrusive, vibe was informal and cheerful, food was scrummy and the price wasn't too bad. Al in all a great little find and, as said, I'd happily return to try out a few more things on the menu.

Used twice and absolutely perfect, tasty food, great service. One of the very best in Norwich. Do not sleep on this place.

I had the goomba with Korean fries. I would recommend trying that.

Wow! After a failed visit to Mr. Mangal across the road (turns out the menu online is just takeout and different from in the restaurant) we stumbled across Oishii St Kitchen. I already want to go again. I don’t eat meat, dairy or really spicy things (tricky customer!) and there was so much choice. My OH is vegetarian and loves spice and was pleased too. Great selection of options, absolutely delicious, and quick service when clearly busy with takeout orders. Finally a reasonably priced burger where I don’t feel either compromised or ripped off for not eating meat. Great balance of taste and texture. Wish I’d visited sooner!

me and my partner went in last night and the food and service were both amazing. defo coming back!

Amazing food but unfortunately we have been ordering once or twice a month for the last year or so and more often than not, an item is missing from the delivery. Will only use now of we are able to collect and check. We have been told it must be deliveroos fault but the bag usually comes stapled up so I can't see how this is the case.

The food is always great! Had takeout a few times and eaten in once and always had excellent food! The vegan stuff is some of the best in the city with it fast becoming my favourite place to eat!

I just had the oki double 6oz burger £15.50. Was it worth it? Yes. I'm a bit confused about the i guess japanese or Asian influence but it was excellent. The flavours were confused to me but delicious, the burger was excellent as was the bacon. Asian...not convinced...quality...excellent, plus as a bonus they now take cash. Ill be back to check out other burgers. Oh and it seems they cater for vegans and vegetarians. Check this place out. Its extremely good and food arrived very quickly.

Utterly delicious, my go-to place for Korean street food. Fantastic flavours and the staff are so lovely and friendly, and whilst the shop itself is small it's nicely decorated.

Went last night after hearing glowing reviews, unfortunately it's gone downhill since it's prime. Food was average. Service ok, overall not good enough for me to recommend.

Came in for my friends birthday there was 14 of us. We struggled to find a venue but they took us in and were amazing. Food was great came out to good temp and good timing despite the size of the party. Amazing quality food and a must go!!!

Had a lovely meal here on a Thursday night. 6 or 7 tables so would be worth booking on a Friday or Saturday. Lots of Deliveroo trade but this didn't detract from the service and quality of the food. Fantastic chicken burger with great options on the side. Loads of veggie and vegan options too. Would highly recommend.

I LOVE it here! Me and my partner often order on deliveroo ( the most out of anywhere in the city) because every time it’s delicious! We ate in for the first time last night and still just as good but with wonderful service also. Id give this place 500 stars if I could :) I recommend any chicken burger, fries with pork and popcorn chicken ❤️🙌 TRY IT and thank me later !

Can't fault anything. The food was delicious with lots going on. The staff were polite, and helpful, and helped my partner choose a less spicy option. I love my food, and as a food business owner, I enjoy supporting other local food businesses. Oishii Street Kitchen didn't disappoint, they've nailed the Asian/burger/wings fusion thing perfectly.

Our go-to take away in Norwich. Never fails. We’ve eaten in also recently and that was really enjoyable too. Nice atmosphere and really friendly staff. Will continue to get takeaways here for a long long time.

God! My am I glad I found this place! ❤️❤️ me and hubby went out Friday night for a bit of grub and wasn't expecting much from this neck of woods but I'll be damned! The psy burger was insane !! The waitress was super lovely and showed us all the veggie and vegan options - which was a lot - must tell my veggie group about this place! Atmos was awesome, Hubby was impressed too with his beef burger! 😋 and he's never impressed! Ha! Thank you oishii kitchen 💃💃❤️❤️

terrible accommodation for gluten free and vegetarian. was told they’d put something together (baring in mind their kitchen is full of rice / veggies / grains / sauces that are all naturally gluten free and was instead given plain chips (as a meal ??). would expect the chef/waitors to have more knowledge about this type of thing. atmosphere was also bad, deliveroo deivers constantly coming in and too many tables cramped in tiny space.

Absolutely banging food! The loaded fries are to die for and such huge portions! I love that they offer proper good vegetarian and vegan options for everything too - my favourite VG burger in Norwich is the Psy!! Pleasant to takeaway or dine in - the wait is never too long and staff are friendly.

Amazing customer service (shoutout to Ella and the rest of the Oishii team). Loved the food quality and portions. Definitely recommend the seitan option for vegetarian/vegan dishes. Clean and tidy. Good ambience. Affordable prices. Definitely recommend. Will go again.

Fantastic little find highly recommend

First time I've tried the food here and it really was a treat. We took a large party and the weather was nice so we were seated outside and offered water. There was no hurry to decide what we wanted and our server was very attentive. We ordered a variety of meals which were all served at around the same time, which isn't always the case everywhere else. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous and there were no qualms when we asked for boxes to take our leftovers. All in all a very positive experience and one I look forward to taking again.

Ordered a takeaway from here with friends, got the katsu chicken bowl and it was absolutely amazing! The portion size is really generous and lasted me for dinner and then lunch the next day 😆 we all loved our food, would highly recommend if you want some tasty and comfortable East Asian food :)

Well what can I say. We just had our first meal here and it was Bloomin’ fantastic. Grub was out of this world (I’ve no idea what I ate as I’m old and cannot remember the food names but I know it was one hell of a tasty burger and a side of chips with lots of stuff on). Lovely little place, chef/owner(?) lovely, the waitress 10/10. I am difficult to please but tonight I left with a smile on my face. Take notice Norwich, grub done the right way. Like Arnie, I’ll be back. 10/10.

Fantastic place to head for some tasty grub. Food is amazing, highly recommend the panko fried chicken burgers and the loaded fries are just so damn good! Fast friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back soon🙌

I can’t stress how good the food is at this place. The flavours are so bold and the quality of the ingredients are so worth it. I love the spices they use for the burger and fries. Even ordering by delivery, they manage to do an amazing job. The burgers don’t get soggy, they are still warm on arrival, and they taste amazing. I’ve eaten in and gotten deliveries from here so many times. I prefer the buttermilk fried chicken burgers over the beef burgers because they have a crunch to them and the chicken pieces are so big! The breading also stays intact and you can tell the meat is high-quality. The beef patties tend to be softer, not my thing even though I still like them as they are also really high-quality. Out of the ones I’ve tried, I’d rank the burgers as the following: 1. The Hot Chick - by far the best, for the really flavourful and tasty buffalo sauce that has a slight spicy kick to it, also has a generous amount of sauce 2. The Goku - soft and scrumptious texture, the caramelised onions were a nice addition, the wasabi was very subtle 3. Seoul Burger - an upgrade from any standard American beef burger you might have had 4. The Gangnam - the sauce was nice though there could have been a bit more sauce, and I prefer the other burger flavours The loaded fries here are also of really good quality, and the portions are generous enough to be shared between 2 people. The flavours meld together really nicely and you can’t get them anywhere else. Out of the fries I’ve tried: 1. Godzilla Fries - definitely my favourite, the curry sauce is so good on them (unfortunately not available through delivery though) 2. The Crackanese - somehow, just with the simple mayo and garnishes, it tastes amazing 3. Thai Fries - The spiciest out of the ones I’ve tried, I am not so much of a peanut fan, but anyone who is would really like this. 4. Gochujang Fries - The spices work really well with the fries. No complaints Just one thing, I recommend you also order a sauce for the popcorn chicken as they are a bit dry and bland without anything on them. Also, I’ve had one occasion when the packaging/transportation through delivery was bad, but this just seems to be a rare problem.

Oishii night has become a firm weekly favourite. Food is consistently tasty and fresh and the flavour fusions next level. Oishii never disappoints reflected by the number of times we have ordered from them!

Food was quite expensive and pretty bland. Burger was a soggy mess and they forgot to put any sauce on the wings... I was unable to return to pick up sauce and they couldn't send anything out, so that was a waste of £8

Delicious burger, so flavourful. Veggie/vegan options were great. A proper hidden gem. Service was quick and friendly. A little pricey, but you get your moneys worth.

I cannot get over how incredible this restaurant is! The team were very friendly on Saturday night. They answered all questions I had about the menu. The items in the menu all sounded delicious so I can’t wait to go back and try them all. The food arrived quickly and presented beautifully and the service was friendly and attentive. Will be returning quite often!

Excellent food and service, would definitely recommend

Booked a table here for my girlfriends birthday as the reviews were great and the menu was very veggie friendly. Upon first entering we were greeted with a really friendly welcome which was nice. We were shown our table and given a few minutes to decide. Went for a couple of burgers, the seitan 'wings' and standard seasoned fries. When it first arrived after about 20 minutes it all looked very impressive. However there were just a few niggles we had. Though the food was tasty, a lot of the flavours crossed over between options so it risked becoming a bit samey. A lot of miso, sesame and kewpie mayo which I understand are staples but they overpowered a bit. Also the order of fries was huuuuuge, but with no options for basic sauce (ketchup,mayo etc) outside of the £1.50 choices it became quite plain. The wings again were tasty but for £8 it just felt a bit much. A customer near us asked if they could have any soy sauce which again you'd assume would be a basic staple for pan-Asian food, however they were denied and told the only sauce would be the ones you had to pay extra for. What added insult to injury a bit was that the customer could see a bottle of soy sauce in the kitchen. I understand this is needed for cooking, but the amount they would need would be tiny I'd imagine. Overall the food was tasty and we enjoyed it, but for the circa £45 bill I don't think for now it would be top of the list to revisit. I'd definitely recommend you try it to see what you think, as this is of course only an opinion. Another thing that was a bit frustrating is that the place is quite small and delivery drivers kept coming in and lurking about which meant it got quite cold when the door was opening quite a lot. Your experience could be very different though :)

the best chicken of Norfolk! everything it's just so fresh and tasty!! I had a Godzilla and it was delicious! the curry sauce was incredible and chicken was melting in my mouth. great location , amazing food and outstanding service! you must try it!
