What another fabulous night at the offal paddock .the food and service is outstanding every time we come ..... burger night a defo if ya not tried already my black n blue burger was amazing .

If you look at my other reviews, you can see that I say what I see and personally experience, many less favourable than others... But every once in a while, comes along an EXCEPTIONAL venue, for an amazing carvery and dining experience. In this case, 10/10 for the incredible 5 star experience for the amazing Offas Paddock. My wife and I, have since visited again on Sunday's, after being told it was a great place by a neighbour.. But little did we know, that we were about to be blown away, with a carvery fit for Royalty! Upon entering the busy spotlessly clean dining area, set in beautiful grounds, we were greeted by some very friendly outgoing staff- who unlike many other places- actually make you feel welcome and appreciated.. We sat down with our drinks, until we were told the Carvery was now about to be served. We went to the serving area, and my mouth watered, at the size of the fantastic home made Giant Yorkshire Puddings, and the quality AND generous portions of the meat by the smiling, staff who have a fantastic sense of humour and show a Genuine interest in their customers! After tucking into the BEST Carvery ANYWHERE to be sampled in North Wales, we shared a sweet, as the main portion was very filling and really satisfying. We had an Apple Crumble (Again Home Made) that every mouthful was a taste of heaven... Bliss! The Offas Paddock, should be a top priority to anyone who appreciated fine quality food, great portions, and the best and most welcoming staff to be seen anywhere in North Wales. I whole heartedly highly recommend the Offas Paddock, but don't just take my review as a guide.. GET DOWN there, and see for yourself. Oh by the way, a telephone BOOKING is essential, (if you can get through) - as this is a VERY BUSY place that I guarantee will make you smile, & there's ample car parking. If you've read of of this, you will probably have tried the rest.. NOW TRY THE BEST. The fantastic Offas Paddock! We will be back very soon!

Meliden Golf Club Thank you for such short notice (only called late afternoon yesterday) Afternoon Tea for 3 £15 each. 5/5 👜👜👜👜👜 handbag take away review for our yummy afternoon tea. So much to eat, egg sandwiches, cheese tomato and onion rolls, sausage rolls, cheese pastry rolls, mini quiches, salad, chocolate cake, carrot cake, scone and sweet strawberries. No we could not eat it all so looking forward to lunch tomorrow 😂 Once again everywhere is immaculate and the kitchen looked very organised. Nice golf course here with amazing views. Really nice seating outside looking onto the Prestatyn to Dyserth walkway. Now serving evening meals and we have been recommended to try the Sunday Lunch so we will be back 😋😋

Excellent gluten free fish and chips, best ever had, thank you. Excellent service, would definitely recommend, very good value for mo ey and chips to die for.

Well I posted a couple months ago it was superb they had the chef from the torello, very smart front of house in suit. Took my family again I was that impressed BUT Within a few weeks it all changed again sadly. Back to mediocre food the pretty side salad with spiralised carrot celery etc has gone and it’s back to very basic slice of tomato and few lettuce leaves. The homemade elements like caper tartre sauce with the fish finger butty is now back to little plastic packets instead along with not toasted bun. It’s just very very basic again. The burgers were tasteless lacked seasoning. The fish didn’t have lovely aerated batter like last time. Now back to flat and overcooked. Real real shame as it’s a great spot and I had hoped we had found a new regular spot to eat . So disappointed / what on earth happened ? I feel quite embarrassed as I recommended to so many people when I came last.

Well, I thought Father’s Day was meant to be a nice day….. not here! The poor waitresses being rushed of there feet by the poorly managed Calvary. 15min wait before being offered a drink. They pull San Miguel through a Morretti pump….. should of realised at this point that it was not going to be any good! The starters were nice….. Sunday lunch being served by Miss Truchball was a different story! Burnt stuffing, veg which was like the rubber from a car tyre and the meat…… FREEZING COLD! Then the hair found in the food! The Truchball then told us that her food was Hot… it wasn’t! The Truchball was rude and got in the face of my wife… without a mask! The kitchen was full of clutter, no staff with masks, no gloves or hairnets!! I think people were scared to tell her the truth but not us!! Well done to the front of house staff who tried their best! Thanks for the refund! Just been to the Co-Op to buy some whiskers… Happy Fathers Day LD and CD

We live locally, went a few years back was awful bland food, tried again last week it’s had a big shake up, fantastic food now, fresh homemade, had a fish finger sandwich, fresh fish lightly battered goujons, delicious minted mushy peas on a toasted brioche, the side salad was delicate and beautifully presented. The caper sauce was spot on. What a huge difference to a few years back. We sat outside under an umbrella it was a lovely day with beautiful views of the golf course and lovely ice cold beer, what more can you ask for. The staff are pleasant and headwaiter dressed in very smart attire just gives the experience the edge. Best place for lunch in Prestatyn. Once they’ve refurbed inside it will also be lovely to dine inside too. There are also little huts outside serving small takeaway bites and drinks. Don’t be tempted to get a snack from there make sure you sit down and order from the main menu it’s well worth it. Menu is not vast but everything that’s on it is fabulous. Very impressed and very happy as this is our new lunching place within walking distance of where we live - ideal !

Whether it’s just for a snack or a full meal your taste buds will certainly be satisfied. I can thoroughly recommend the croque monsieur ,the fish and chips and the special of Welsh lamb rump ,they were all absolutely delicious.

I've eaten in restaurants all over the place and this restaurant has the best food I've ever eaten by far. The atmosphere and location just perfect for a relaxing meal with friends. We have booked to go back again and I cant wait. This restaurant is a must for people to try.

Extremely tasty and plentiful food served in a contemporary and comfortable restaurant in a gem location. I particularly enjoyed the open kitchen and the friendly ambience and the food was extremely tasty. We are privileged to have a restaurant of this standard so close to the centre of Prestatyn .

Where to start! Absolutely fabulous meal - every course was delicious, amazing plays on flavours and textures and a lovely dining experience, locally sourced food too. The staff were wonderful, the balance of service is excellent - attentive, friendly but not intrusive. Dining here was a real treat, the open kitchen process is great so you can see how your dish is being prepared and definitely adds to the ambiance. Quality of food and service is unprecedented- Bravo Being coeliac is always an issue for me but I was asked straight away when offered the menu for any allergens and dietary requirements, the chef came across to reassure me, the menu was very clear also! The fish and chips was amazing 😉 We will be back
