The cinema used to be quit cold so I used to choose other cinemas that were warmer (and cheaper) but I was pleasantly surprised to find it lovely and warm, made for a far more pleasant experience.

Now this cinema is somewhat original, spectacular building very classic inside and historic the building looks modernised but when you dig deep into the heart of it you find something unusual and very very unordinary it's got seats from the victoriana ages in with sealings exposing there originality it's such a beautiful place to visit very well designed theoretical custodial and epic really makes your cinema experience delightful and warm and a memory you can cherish for years to come with your family it's nothing like the cinemas you've been to in the past with modernised electrical and sound systems it makes it that extra bit more enjoyable the atmosphere is scerene and the staff are brilliant welcoming warming and make you feel so cosy it's like being at home away from home bring your family and you will absolutely love it with local transport links making it such a easy place to get to food restaurants all around right in the center of the town everything is just where you need it and parking is such a doddle aswell so no need to worry about that it makes even just the little things like that make your visit such a pleasure.....

The Odeon in Oldham offers really great value cinema. £5 tickets for any movie at any time on any day of the week if you book online with some decently priced food and drink deals too. It’s never busy. While that makes for a more pleasant cinema experience I don’t imagine that’s great for the future of the venue!! But it’s a lovely cinema.

My friend and I like going to this cinema because it's close to the food places we like to eat in. The tickets are fairly priced.

i went to ODEON with sweets and drinks from Poundland and home bargins places and i was able to go watch the new Wonka movie and eat them some people should try bringing sweets from other shops instead of buying the overpriced stuff they have

Had the time of my life watching the eras tour film here. The staff were so nice and friendly and it was very clean and not too busy so it was a really nice environment to be in

It's allot cleaner than sandbrook the only thing was the moron who fell asleep and kept kicking our seats other than that

The staff are rude, the manager doesn’t have any customer service skills. Our movie started at half 7, we arrived and ordered our food via the kiosk at 7:20. We went to the collection point where there was one female staff. Who was preparing and serving the food For collection. She was so slow, it was visible that she did not want to be there. Our movie had started and we were still waiting for our order, not sure why as there weren’t many of us waiting for our order, 25-30 mins later she announced that there isn’t any cheese ready as it needs warming up unapologetically. I wasn’t sure why she didn’t do this as surely she would have known that the cheese is about to run out. Really was not in the mood, she said it will be ready in 10 mins so you can wait or come back. I was like we’ve come to watch a movie that we are already late for as we’ve been waiting for our order. Now after half an hour you tell us to go watch the movie and come back in 10 mins. By this time all those who were waiting were frustrated and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was even worse he was like we are short staffed and the cheese isn’t ready. I told the manager we are half an hour late for our movie and don’t even have any of the food we’ve ordered. He was unapologetic and said it wasn’t his fault he’s understaffed. He clearly wasn’t bothered. When I asked for a refund he said no first until I told him either give us our food or the money and then he quickly said I can get you the refund. As we were already late I told him we will come for the refund at the interval. We missed the beginning of the movie and had no popcorn or drink or nachos, it was a sad affair! I suggest the management need to review the service they’re provide, it’s a Tuesday and with the meerkat special offer 2 for 1 you’d think he would expect it to busy. Management need to organise their staff shift pattern and replace the cheese sauce or any other replenishment ahead instead of shrugging their shoulders when they run out. Worse cinema experience ever. Don’t bother go to Rochdale or Ashton.

Don't go to Oldham odeon worst service ever

The cinema staff were friendly and helpful. However my experience was spoilt by the behaviour of other patrons who couldn't stop using phones or kicking the back of my seat.

You can't complain when you have the cinema to yourself. Clean facilities etc

Brilliant cinema, brilliant ticket prices. Screening rooms are comfy and the picture is great. Some rooms are small but sometimes that makes the experience cozier. Only main issue is the absurd price of the food there. With the options of the shops less than a minutes walk from the cinema, no one would buy from the cinema shop!

Great experience here watching "Oppenheimer". Fantastic sound and picture quality. Very clean and well-maintained cinema building as well. 5 stars.

Nice cinema built inside of an old building, giving several small screens. Our visit was only spoiled by a few youths who snuck in from one of the other screens 2/3rds of the way through the film and started chatting!

First time visit to the Odeon in Oldham. ( been to other cinemas before - just not to Oldham ) It really is a beautiful building inside. 🥰 The staff are welcoming from the moment you enter the building.🙂 Booked online, which was straight forward and easy to do.🙂 The prices of the food are good too. 🍿🥤😋 The size of the cinema screen and rooms are perfect to watch films in.😊 Would definitely recommend here!

It was like i walked into some1s house felt like i should not be there. Tje man on the food cointer was very helpful. The 2 men at the door were not. When booking it would only let me get certain seats. And when we got there, most of the seats were empty and we all wedged in at the door(about 6 altogether) and about 8 on the back row. 1 man on his own at the front?

Lovely building , staff and popcorn so good etc only thing that I didn't enjoy in screen 6 was the smell of sweat it just never went away unless leather smells like that a little air freshener be nice

Went to watch the Flash recently. Very impressed with the Odeon cinemas in oldham as they are very friendly staff and clean environment. The bathrooms is alway's clean whenever we have been, the reason I write this is because the rochdale odeon bathrooms seem to always be dirty. The seats are comfy and had no issues.

Clean cinema and friendly staff but WOW the prices of sweets etc are excessive (£3.99 for a £1 bag of sweets). Took my three grandchildren but took them to supermarket and bought them sweets and popcorn before going in, just greedy to charge the prices they do.

The staff were very friendly and supportive as I am now walking using a sticks and they offered assistance . I was offered advice on the best way to get to the allocated screening room. I would not hesitate to recommend this cinema.

Good day loved the Mario film, first time at Odeon, clean and well organised.

We went to watch Mario, which had only been out for 2 days. Thursday at 2 pm was a great time to go, not too busy so we got se4ved quickly dor snacks.

Staff were really helpful,with really positive attitudes. Made my cinema experience wonderful. Even asked if I had enjoyed the film after!

Old post become a regular visitor to the ODEON in Oldham always friendly helpful staff watched as many films here then i have lived in the area and will watch a lot more in the near future. New post Was the first post i wrote which after today's visit and dealings has now changed after an incident resulting in my female partner being punched by a male sat in our seats refusing to move and became hostile we booked then my partners mental health being used against her resulting in use leaving after spending £35 and one of the staff saying it shows my partner throwing a drink after the fact she was punched by a guy but that's ok is it that acceptable we want a refund and we now will boycott your cinema's. Why use a cinema that justifies men hitting women in a public place mental health being looked down on and no one doing nothing about the situation so in there eyes it's ok for people to sit in your seat be aggressive and confrontational to women and hit women making freights to kill be abusive but all that is ok. Disgusting 0/0

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful building - the screen (2) we were in had features from the original such as the private box type balconies and fabulous cornices. Plenty warm enough. The toilets were just outside-modern and very clean. Amazing original tiled floors and huuuge original doors with hand-carved frames. It was like going back in time to when they knew how to build beautiful things to last. I don't often praise Oldham Council but restoring and finding a use for such a fine building has given us something we can and should all enjoy. Oh, and the parking is free.

New, hip decor with a coffee shop and bar available but seats aren't the best and can see where anyone over 6 foot could be complaining about it. However, staff are cool and price is cheap.

I recently went to the Odeon Cinema in Oldham and I must say the experience was top notch. First of all they have a great selection of movies, both new releases and classic favourites. I saw a great mix of genres, from comedies to blockbusters. The audio quality was great as well and I could hear everything clearly. The staff were also friendly and efficient. They made sure my tickets were ready in time and the line moved quickly. They also gave me a very helpful recommendation for snacks, which was much appreciated. The seats were also very comfortable and I didn't experience any problems with the legroom or with sound quality. My view of the movie was good, even though I was off to the side. Altogether, I thought the Odeon Cinema in Oldham was an excellent place to watch a movie and I fully recommend it

I like the odeon as far as cinema goes, they have a really nice building and a Costa coffee built in which is great, the place is a bit of a mash up as to where the toilets are but as it's such a nice old building they have done there best. The only down side apart from having to be in the same room with other people when watching a film is the sound it's just to loud it over dominants the room and spoils the film experience but then most cinemas do this.

Good cinema and staff is friendly. Mark changed the popcorns when asked as they were too salty and without hesitation Mark gave us sweet and salty mixed popcorns and we enjoyed the movie with sweet popcorns. Thanks Mark for being friendly and understanding. Keep it up.

Nice staff, lovely building. love the old features. But cheaper at the rochdale one. More expensive here at oldham and not easy to find parking. But on the upside this makes it quiter and not too busy.

Fantastic repurposing of a building

Poor experience, the seats were very uncomfortable and they are also small, so there is not head rest for anyone over 6 feet. So I could not enjoy the movie at all. There were not many people inside the cinema, they should invest in bigger and better seats or people will not go back, I will certainly not go back there.

Went to watch Bat Man with my son Comfortable setting we did paye extra £2:00 pound so we had good set's pleanty of leg room and head rest Hugh Cinema screen had enjoyable evening

So I went with my older autistic brother to watch the new Dragon Ball Super movie which isn’t my kind of movie but it’s his thing and was his birthday present from me and I booked the tickets online there was no problem with entering with the tickets but when we got to the screen when the movie was suppose to start it didn’t we were the only ones in the screen and no one had started the movie so had to go back downstairs to the food counter to ask if the screen was the correct one as it was the screen and time it was booked on my tickets. So the helpful lady at the counter said she’d get the assistant so I went back to the screen a few moments later a young lady came out the elevator I assumed to start the film with snacks and a drink for herself but didn’t look too pleased to be there so it started well the sound did then we waited five more minutes until the problem was fixed and the screen actually had something on it so the movie then started and the entire time we both felt extremely uncomfortable because the lady was glaring at us from the camera booth which was anxiety inducing and caused my brother to have an anxiety attack cause it was a very uncomfortable feeling think next time we will go to a different cinema cause the entire atmosphere and situation was awkward and anxiety inducing

Watched the new Dragonball Super movie today. James was an excellent employee with good movie knowledge. Excellent customer service, sociable and approachable. 10/10.

As a cinema experience the place is nice and clean the seats in the cinemas are comfy but why does popcorn and a cup of coke cost so much.

NEVER WILL GO AGAIN Worst cinema ever the staff don't care who ruined your film paid for parking took time out and all I got was a refund and a sorry. Me and my family disappointed with the service and lack of compensation when your afternoon/evening ruined.

1st time at the cinema for many years, quite enjoyed it. Only complaint, too many adverts and trailers.

Drinks sweet popcorn a little expensive but still enjoyed the evening quite comfortable seating

Quirky cinema, but a little expensive compared to other cinemas. Friendly staff. Generally well maintained. The iSense sound is amazing. Went to see Top gun and well worth a rare cinema visit to watch. The carpark validation tablet is not easy to see so make sure you ask an attendant to point you in the right direction.

Shortage of a bar to get a decent drink, the member of staff that serve me with drinks hadn't got a clue other than that its OK. The only problem with Oldham Odeon is after the film you have to turn back to reality and realise your back in Oldham.

First time there, parking is quite some distance which made it difficult for my disabled partner to walk there. The food is very expensive, £13 for a medium coke and hotdogs...each. That is in no way exceptable. The premium seats were comfortable but the guard rail in front of the seats is to high so my partner and son couldn't see the whole screen. Though it is very local, unfortunately we won't be going there again. Only real positive is the staff are helpful and friendly.
