I had to shout out Zoe Lawrence as she is always a ray of sunshine and gives the best service to her customers. The ock n dough is a better place to be with her in it. I came in with my baby and didn't have any food and she went out of her way ro get some baby food and warm it for him. Always smiling and passionate about her job. 5 star x

Was even kind enough to recommend some non spicy food options for one of us. Attended to all our needs, very bubbly and friendly service. Can’t thank her enough for her hard work. Lovely Saturday lunch at ock n dough, food was lovely and really friendly helpful staff, Jodie was great at the bar sorting our big orders of drinks and and food!

Done a last minute trip here for a meal and wasn't disappointed. We tried booking a table online for 8:15pm and were told that wasn't available which wasn't a problem as 8:30pm was but when we got there it was almost empty. We were served promptly by friendly staff and the food was amazing. It was our first visit here and will definitely go back again.

Sunday dinner? Not great, not terrible… This place was a bit of a mixed bag. The food wasn’t great being mostly low quality and low quantity. The furniture and decor is a little worn out and the experience just wasn’t anything to write home about. Just ‘meh’

The customer service was horrible the worker accidentally dropped my food on the table outside and refused to replace it telling me to pick it up while saying the f word the food wasn’t even nice to top it. My friend bought vanilla ice cream and it came chocolate with one vanilla scoop when he enquired about it she then proceeded to shout in his face “can you not see the vanilla right there” whilst it was sitting at the very bottom of the pot bearing in mind this is 5+ scoops we were also planning on ordering food and drinks a bit later in for half time but got told if we didn’t order immediately we would get kicked out overall it was a rubbish experience when I’m trying to come watch the football with mates wouldn’t recommend or come back and the only reason the atmosphere had a nice rating is because of my friends.

Top service from the beginning 👌 the lady behind the bar Lauren served us with a smile and was really helpful with helping us order 😀 will definitely be coming back again with service like that also the food was really nice and my kids enjoyed coming my youngest loved getting crayons and something to colour kept her occupied for a bit 😀

Took my family here today It was an enjoyable experience and the food and drink was really good. Staff as always was amazing Jodie the bar person was polite and welcoming and made our experience wonderful she got everything just right which sometimes isint so thank you Jodie I’ll be sure to recommend to friends and family.

Had a family get together and it was a great experience. Food was good and service was quick even though it was a busy Sunday. Molly was also great and the served us, making sure we had everything we needed. This pub just has a great feel good atmosphere. We shall be back.

Food has improved, still room for improvement though, OK without being great. Still slow clearing away vacated tables and cleaning them. Staff pleasant and hard working, just not enough of them.

Visit this place for a Sunday roast. The atmosphere and the staff were amazing. Can't say the same for the food quality. Absolutely disaster. Cold and overcooked. I felt my plate was created from other customers' leftovers. Maybe the worst roast dinner I ever had in this town.

A great experience on their Thursday pub quiz night. Great atmosphere. Staff always give great service too, get served quickly and molly was attentive and helped us find a table in the fully booked restaurant. We shall be quizzing again soon.

Staff are friendly and know what your drinks are, Matt and Molly are great, always have live sport of one sort another and if you sign up to their app you get 10% off drinks.

I've been going to the Ock for a long time, mainly during the week to watch the football. But no more, saw the game that we wanted to watch was on, ordered beer and food, sat down, 10 minutes into the game, the bar staff turned the channel to watch another game, this despite 4 of us watching our game from the start, if we'd have known the barman was going to change the game on the tv, we wouldn't have ordered food and beer, we'd have found a pub that was showing our game. Very infuriating, we won't return to this establishment. Just a add on, we weren't the only people complaining about this issue, but they weren't listened to either.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Visited for breakfast on 21/12/2024 and was left waiting for a while after others after us was given their food. Politely asked if they could check where the food was and then was given very cold to touch food. We believe it was because when ordering, the lady didn’t ask for a table number so we think it just sat there in the kitchen. We was all hungry and that included my son so we just ate when it came out and left and thought maybe it was the morning service and would give it another try. Then we had booked for the evening for 2 of us, on arrival we checked for our reserved table and we noticed a couple had just sat down at our reserved table and we had asked for a little extra room so this was slightly bigger than a 2 table. The gentlemen checked our table on the system and instead of requesting the young people relocate as they had just arrived, they placed us at a built in table that couldn’t move and we were very squished. We didn’t want to cause an issue and complain so we left.

Always a good experience at the Ock and Dough. Huge shout out to Caitlin for being entertaining and good conversation!

A nice pub, good range of vegan options, nothing amazing but I would go back if in the area.

How very disappointing. Can't get a beer at the bar because the staff are all running food. Food is bad. Steak was tough as old boots, served with barely cooked chips. My son's meal was an almost inedible mess, my wife's meal was bland boring and undercooked. Won't be back.

I recently visited Ock n Dough in Wellingborough with my family to celebrate my birthday. While the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing, the service left much to be desired. Each time we wanted to place an order at the counter, there was no one available. We had to wait, shout out, and look for someone to assist us. Even when we arrived, the table we wanted to sit at wasn’t cleared, so we ended up sitting at another table. The food was cold and did not taste good at all. The only positive aspect of our visit was the pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the poor service and disappointing food overshadowed our experience.

Very cheap quality food; the mushy peas and chips taste was totally awful; and the desert apple crumble taste was very sour and served with a tablespoon rather than a proper desert spoon. Definitely, I will give them zero reviews for service as well. Never going back. Had bad experience with food and service.

We had an exceptional time at Ock and Dough and was made even better by Jodie’s lovely welcoming persona and extra service. She even recommended the wine we had and it was lovely (although can’t remember the name now!)

Really poor experience this evening. After the food was served the employee said ‘you can get your cutlery from over there’ and pointed to where we needed to grab it on the other side of the seating area. There was a large table full of people from the traveller community being very rowdy, the children were running all over the pub and smacking the glass on one of the arcade machines. The adults were shouting, chanting, and were continually being served more alcohol with no mention from staff regarding how disruptive they were being. I don’t care what community you are from, if you are being disruptive and disrespectful you should not be allowed to continue impacting others. This was a Sunday evening spoiled by lack of management, we were not the only family impacted by this and there were many others looking for a quiet meal to end the week.
