Jonathan kindly made a great tasting sandwich for me even after the kitchen had closed for the afternoon. Will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Nyth y robin is a beautiful little café that literally takes you back in time. The building dates back to heavens know when, so much history. The Food is absolutely delicious and cooked from fresh, the owners John and Sandra are the friendliest people and can be quizzed on local llandysul history and knowledge. Wish I could live their!!!!!

Jonathon and the staff make excellent food and provide a top quality service with a smile. My partner loved the way they had decorated the place, with many antique aspects which just made the place even cozier and homely. Would definitely recommend Nyth y Robin as a lovely place to socialise and eat delicious food:)

I work local to John/sandras cafe and i visit there weekly for my breakfast, beautiful place with lots going on, amazing hosts, and lovely atmosphere. The food is very well prepared, and will continue to visit here for as long as possible. Highly recommend, great place.

We called into the Black Lion in Aberaeron about 2:30 for some lunch. The two of us, plus our granddaughter and the dog. I asked if we were ok to bring the dog in and was told he was more that welcome. He got served before us as once we were seated they brought him a bowl of water! We ordered drinks and food. The food was exceptional. (We asked for and was given a takeaway container to take what we didn't eat home, it was that nice. We would 100% recommend going there, and will be visiting again ourselves. Very friendly and helpful staff (all three of the ones who we spoke to) 6 stars all the way as I can't give a 5 plus.

We only really stopped in for a hot drink and cake after our amazing guided tour before we set off back home. Everything was really nice food wise, just what we wanted, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Thank You

What a wonderful couple who run the deli/cafe/restaurant. It is Aberystwyth's treasure. The food cooked by Mario and his wife Chiara is amazing and very reasonably priced. They are an important part of the community and they care.

Perfection It has been a long time since we had a meal as excellent as this . We visited on a Saturday evening and it was busy but you would have thought you were having a private dining experience . The whole thing runs like a Swiss timepiece. Oh and then ther is the food. A seasonal menu of locally sourced food with the talent of a chef who really knows what they are doing. A generous portion of superlative focaccia set us off and we chose a bottle of Appasimento for £30 I had a starter of crispy pork cheek with hoisin and cucumber on a butter milk waffle . My husband had a pork liver parfait with chutney and treacle bread . I had a rare fillet of beef with spiced butter, bordelaise and triple cooked chips. My husband had roast cod with leeks, cheddar mash and a warm sauce tartare. Desserts -a crème brûlée with a raspberry Madelaine and a white chocolate cheesecake with a blackberry sorbet . We finished with their home made caramel fudge . I cannot single out a thing as ‘the best’ , it was all so very delicious and such superb quality . Treat yourself!
