Went to NQ64 to escape the rain on Saturday night, it’s a great venue for both friends and family! There is so much choice of arcade games to play to fill your childhood nostalgia! It’s only £8.50 for 15 tokens which is great as you can share them out however some games require 2 tokens to play! The consoles are free use if they are available! There’s even a free game on the wall called “Wall Boy”! I highly recommend this place as well as their other locations!

Bar staff were 100% top tier hilarious and friendly and made some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Excellent fun and variety of games. Got a bit warm later on in the evening but that might have been partly from jumping round and rocking ot on Guitar Hero 🎸 😂

We went there for my birthday on a kind of pub crawl lol and Robert served us and was so lovely the whole night making our experience fun as hell thanks NQ64 and thanks Robert :)

This place was amazing the drinks weren't to pricey but for what you pay they was decent. You pay for your tokens to play on any of the arcade machines. Played on tony hawks pacman and pinball on the arcade machines. Lovely atmosphere would definitely visit again

A amazingly unique concept of a bar, provided a lot of fun and nostalgia. You lose the concept of time in there as the games are so fun to play and £6 classic cocktails until 7pm Sunday to Friday are a no brainer. Service was great, never waited longer than a minute to be served.

Some of the games are out of order but the staff is very nice and the service excellent 👌

A very quirky little bar with loads of cool, nostalgic games to play throughout which made it enjoyable. The staff were lovely - super friendly! The cocktails were also themed on vintage games. The only downside for me was that the cocktails were quite expensive & didn't actually taste too nice! £22.50 for 2 cocktails is a bit of a rip off if you ask me however I didn't let this ruin my experience here.

Loud. Went with my (adult) kids who loved it. Food is ordered from a pizza place nearby. Gamers retro paradise.

Not happy at all with the service, wasnt told about tokens at all so used poind coins as anyone would! Was told we was “under the influence” before we werent told the protocole? Wont be coming here again, lost a lot of money tonight that we would have spent in there !!!

Have the food 3 stars as we didn’t have any food. But overall a deadly little place! Me and the girlfriend are over from Dublin and had a great time! It’s £8.50 for 15 tokens lasts about 20 mins so it’s on the expensive side but worth it.

Great place and awesome drinks. Was a bit gutted that the bubble bobble machine is gone as I brought my mum for her birthday to play it as it was her favourite growing up. Still a great vibe overall

Honestly the best server ever is Alicia she really helped us out and gave us some amazing reconditions and the cocktails were amazing we had a few cocktails we will be back she made our experience so good! Would recommend to everyone

Booked in for a stag do as we re-lived our wasted youth stuffing coins into arcades. Our slot clashes with the England match, so the bar was fairly quiet, but that made getting on the games a lot easier and not having to wait long at the bar. The staff comped us a cup of tokens each so we could play for free, and hopefully we repaid them by buying plenty of drinks and tipping for excellent service. Heard the pizza was great, but unfortunately our stag is celiac and there were no gluten free options, so we had to move on to eat, but that didn't spoil our time. Great bar, and a great chain as we did Edinburgh the weekend prior for a birthday and loved it there too.

Honestly, it's a great place and all, but the high rating is mostly on the fact that they have a Dancing Stage Euromix 2 game that is very well maintained.

great little bar, really enjoyed the arcades in here but i didnt like the amount of tokens you had to put into each one to play a 2 player game, made them not last long! it would have been ideal if you could just have 1 token per player per game

Have spent hours here. Really chilled out, nice atmosphere and good people. I often find the music a little grating, I like old hip hop here and there but in a place like this I was expecting rock/metal? Cocktails are great and there's a good variety of machines.

This place is heaven for all millennials & cocktaillovers. The vibe down here is awesome! I had the Kirby cocktail, never was I so happy with a little flashing light in a cocktail :D

Such a cool bar! Drinks are a little pricey but the cocktails are worth it, only issue is a lot of games seemed to eat coins and not be playable, however the staff were very helpful and gave back what was lost!

Great bar in the Northern Quarter. Wide selection of games and very inventive and delicious cocktails made right in-front of you, a great pizza vendor too although prices can be a bit steep for the pizza - though this is nothing to do with NQ64 itself.

Came with a large group for boyfriend’s birthday! Really fun and quiet Thursday afternoons so we didn’t have to wait for any games. Sophie on the bar was lovely and helpful!! 10/10 service

Didn't try the food so can't comment. Personally didn't like the cocktails but the theme and such is a great touch. While playing on the basket ball machine, someone came behind us, while focusing fully on the game. Stole both our tokens (around 20 total) went to the bar to explain what happened. Wasn't even looked into which was disappointing. We was given 15 tokens back by the bar, however it really put a damper on the night and left very shortly after.

Love the size of the new location - it's great and has a fantastic atmosphere. Reasonably priced drinks and industry discount if you ask and have a payslip. Only gripe was the bouncers not really doing a proper job, just chatting with each other and not really checking IDs or large bags.

Super fun spot, great DJ, great ambience. Can order from Crazy Pedro's, but Crazy Pedro's deals that you'd get by ordering in their location literally next to NQ64 won't apply. Nonetheless, amazing spot. Lots of free consoles as well as arcade machines that need (paid) tokens.

Only had cocktails so can't give a rating for food but the games theming of the cocktails is amazing! It is such a nostalgic gaming bar that is sure to put a smile on anyones face that has ever played a video game! We took friends and of all the bars we visited this was by far one of their favourites. Only issue would be wish some of the games only required one token rather than two so i could enjoy more!

Go into NQ64 quite a lot. Very disappointed to go in at 4pm on bank holiday Sunday to be refused service. The girl behind the bar in a cap asked us if we had been drinking before, for us to answer yes, that we had one or two drinks before coming. Because my partner couldn’t pronounce the name of the beer due to his dyslexia, she straight up refused to serve us. Not impressed at all.

Fun location! NQ64 is perfect if you want to have a fun afternoon/evening with friends or with a date. There are plenty of games, most of them require tokens, however there are PlayStations and Xbox that you can play for free!! We haven’t tried the food nor the cocktails but we can say that the staff is friendly☺️

Pedros pizzas are great, there's a lot of games and decent spaces to sit when you need a time out. Cocktails are innovative and delicious esp the vodka strawberry milkshake. Less great is the music volume, esp when you need to hear the sounds for some of the games. It's ludicrously loud in there. Hopefully the Night & Day saga will make venues realise this isn't what people want anymore and turn it down slightly.

It was my first time at NQ64. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were super friendly. The game selection is unreal and it was very nostalgic. I’ll definitely be going back soon.

This place is really fun and would’ve got 5 stars if it wasn’t for one rude member of staff who said ‘are you being serious?’ in an annoyed tone when I asked what mixers you could have with what alcohol. Also later on in the day she seemed rather annoyed when I told her that one of the machines had taken a friend’s game token and not worked and told me to ‘not play that one then’ and told me that they were busy. Despite this, all the other staff were nice but the pizzas are very overpriced.

I had a date night at NQ64 and it great. Had a good time and my date really enjoyed herself. The games were cool and nostalgic. I’ll totally recommend this for a date night hahaha

A lot of different arcade machines and retro games to play, plus the drinks were good too. Can see how it might get crowded as it's not the most spacious place, but that wasn't an issue when we went, so it probably depends on the night.

Was in Manchester for my wife’s birthday. Friends recommended we go in and wasn’t disappointed. Our server Emma was awesome really nice and friendly. Had me and my friend in stitches. Great asset to the bar. Highly recommend

I also used to love this bar but they need training on hidden disabilities. I used the disabled toilet and the security guard came banging on the door whilst I was urinating. Then the security guard tries to tell me confidently that I do not have a disability and that I should prove it. Also how I shouldn’t be using my own radar key and I should be using the one behind the bar. I continued to explain I shouldn’t have to but if he insists I can show him my disability access card to prove to him I am infact disabled and entitled to use the toilet made for my sensory needs. I have then gone on to tell who was supposedly the deputy manager what had happened which she did not seem to have a care for what had just happened. I have then removed myself from the bar to try and calm my meltdown getting separated from my partner and friends. At this point the security guards wouldn't let me back in nor offered to get the rest of the people I am with (I am very much in need of a companion as my disability card I shown them proved). The least they could have done was reassure me they would get them instead . They insisted to instead manhandle me because I came across as "aggressive". My partner had to jump in considering it was 4 male securities guards putting their hands on a disabled woman all started because I used a disabled toilet then had my disability questioned because I didn’t look disabled enough to use that toilet. My arms are covered in bruises and also they managed to give me a blood blister. Training needs to be done because hidden disabilities EXIST! "how is that ableism" muttered under the managers breathe when questioned on why this was allowed is disgraceful behaviour from senior members of staff when receiving a complaint. Just because you cannot see my disability it doesn’t mean that it is not there. Maybe some equality and diversity training would be appropriate for all staff members including security staff. I would also recommend that you take training in neurodiversity and how to appropriately handle someone that is having an autistic meltdown because I can assure you it’s not to aggravate them and to manhandle them and it is far from that.

Fun games, best one was the basketball one. A few of the games were rubbish though and felt like putting your money down a grid so choose wisely!

Class place to be honest, not much more to say. The decor and game selection was amazing. Just posting my review now as these was from a couple months ago but I thought I’d make note at how good this place was.

I’m absolutely fuming right now. I go to my local NQ64 regularly. Thought I’d check out the ones Manchester had to offer.. So I spent over £100 on accommodation and train fare to visit here especially, to be told when I got there that it was closed on this particular day to the public for a staff party. Fair enough. There was another close by. So I walked 15 minutes to the other establishment in Peters Square, only to find the doors were locked and no notice as to why. Why not update your opening times on here or on your website, as your phone numbers do not work. Complete waste of my time and money.

Love coming here, wide range of games to play, decent drinks also. Its a go to for ms whenever I visit Manchester

Good arcade place hidden in Northern Quarter. £8 for 15 tokens isn't too bad considering the number of choices we have in the place. Some need, while others need a bit more(depending on number of players). Staff are friendly and they explained the rules and made good drinks. So all good.

Absolutely love this place 😍 Honestly such a great daytime or evening visit, but before 7pm when it's 2 cocktails and tokens for £15 how could you say no??

Reposting this as I believe my review was deleted. This place gets incredibly loud. It starts loud, but gets so loud after you leave you'll feel as though you have water in your ears. (A sign of hearing damage.) It's so loud you can't hear the cabinets, which makes some games unplayable. Mainly rhythm games. If you want to hear the nice old sounds and songs from your childhood good luck. You won't hear any of them unless you put your ear right up to the speakers. And as I said in my review before that's mysteriously gone, I worry about the hearing damage staff may be having working here. Especially if they aren't providing ear plugs. The one saving grace is how good the cocktails are. I can't say anything negative. They're creative, and delicious.

Great arcades. Problem is they need to clean the lines for there lager. It was pretty horrible and woke up feeling rough as after 1 pint.

Wow. Found this gem of a place tucked down a side street in Manchester! Even when walking in looks so cool! Took my son for a birthday treat. He turned 27 and we both had a fantastic time! The place is cool and very atmospheric. Everything was spotless and the toilets was as cool and smelt like orange tango!! Very impressive, clean and tidy. Staff were wonderful and gave us a warm welcome! Had hours of fun there. Definitely be gojng again and taking lots of people with us for next time. Thankyou to the owners coming up with all the ideas for this place! I wish you the absolute best in your success, really do! Thankyou so much to everyone. Get gone, and enjoy!
