Usefully filling a space on the Battersea Park Road between Battersea Park Station and Battersea Power Station Nostos Coffee is an oasis of calm between the rattling of trains, the barking of dogs not to mention the incessant lines of traffic waiting at the lights at the junction with Queenstown Road. There’s even a tiny patio garden. A macchiato with a foamy froth and a bread and raisin confection just hit the spot.

After visiting Battersea power station we wanted a coffee at a smaller more intimate place and Nostos hits that spot. It is right next to Battersea Park train/overground station. Ordered a Latte which was great and the peanut butter/ chocolate brownie was sumptuous. Owner very friendly and the place is nice and cosy. Much better to have your coffee here than to go to a crowded Starbucks.
