Nice atmosphere / decor, feels like a street restaurant in Naples and smells divine as you near the restaurant. Mezze starter with burrata was fine but at £29 for 2 with bread it felt very expensive. Ordered 2 cocktails from premium list, both disappointing in taste (flat) and appearance. Had a nice bottle of Barolo Pasta mains both lovely, rich and tasty and cannoli fresh and good.

Wow. I went here for lunch, and I will be coming here again, 100%. The food was rich, authentic, and generous. We ordered anchovies, pulpo, tuna tartare, and vongole pasta, and tiramisu. And bread. Do get their bread and wipe off all that gooey olive oil on your plates. So worth it. Our server was also friendly and kind. Thank you!

Traditional Sardinian food, quirky place, food quite expensive but worth a visit

Just epic. Amazing food and service.

Loved our meal here on a Friday early evening. The atmosphere was lovely, food excellent and service really efficient. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We ate: Rosemary and garlic schiacciata, beans salad, anchovies, seared swordfish, lamb meatballs, lamb fat potatoes and ziti alla zucca. And then got orange and chocolate cakes to have at home. 11/10 meal, brilliant!

I’ve just eaten a meatball sandwich which was on the edge of life changing. Certainly top three ever sandwich, possibly number one. If you’ve got a tenner and want your mind blown go here and get a meatball sandwich.

North Town is a really interesting and enjoyable place to eat. Great service. Unassuming atmosphere. Varied and tasty menu. Its growing reputation is fully deserved

NT is the place to be! We often visit after completing Millhouses parkrun. We are always greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic member of staff. The coffee is lovely and the deserts/pastries are sensational - never had a bad one, but a special shout-out to the sfogliatella!

Booked for lunch. The guy who was hosting was amazing. What a joy to have him around. This guy loves his work. Food was amazing but that was a guarantee anyway. There was no option to tip unfortunately which was upsetting as I was eager to as everything was just really exceptional!

I had the Contadino and the standard Cannoli. They were both breathtakingly delicious. This is my favourite Italian restaurant to go to.

I wish I'd never found this place. I'm convinced they put crack in the foccachia. Prices are reasonable but if you go as often as I do it will soon add up.

Well the reviews don't lie! Our first visit for a quick lunch bite, won't be our last. We had some expert menu guidance from Abigail and settled on sharing platter from antipasti menu with bread and olive oil. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to explore other menu options another time.

Been visiting these guys for a couple of years now, Gian and Pasqual run an excellent and quaint dining experience. Once you've been, you'll return time and time again. The food is excellent, almost as good as the Negronis.

The boss said it was Sicilian traditional desserts and coffee. The dessert meringue is crispy and the chocolate cream is not too sweet. I highly recommend everyone to try it when you visit here!

Third time at Northtown for me as an occasional visitor to Sheffield and this was the best yet. Five of us had a great night hosted by Gian and all the friendly staff. From the not-to-be-missed Negroni, to the interesting wines and the always fabulous food - I can’t recommend highly enough and I can’t wait to go again. Thanks everyone!

Definitely recommend trying this place! I ve been now twice, both times was ecstatic with what I got! The option for choice might not be too elaborate for those "on the go" , but everything on offer is of high quality and reminiscent of "home" for those of us coming from Mediterranean countries. If you manage to get a seat and enjoy your food while browsing at the decor, you are instantly transported somewhere else. Very good service, fast, polite, friendly.

Came here with friends & all were delighted. The atmosphere is one of rustic, back-street, authentic Italian bar/restaurant. Real lively buzz. The staff were brilliant, as other reviewers stated, taking great care & time to explain the origination of the dishes. The food was very flavoursome & satisfying. Would highly recommend for couples/groups of up to six, as the space is quite tight.

We visited Northtown Kitchen for the first time last night and were blown away. The food was so fresh and tasty, the atmosphere was great and the service was 10/10. We will definitely be returning, in fact, I have just booked a table for next month.

First time visit last night and was not disappointed! Absolutely sensational food, service and atmosphere. The staff are so passionate and helpful with describing the story of the menu. We went for the starter and main specials. Fresh mozzarella with a selection of Italian vegetable dishes followed by the fish platter (both delicious!). The Greco white wine complimented the food perfectly which was followed by Negroni's. Didn't have room for dessert but happily took away a selection including the Cannoli's! You will not be disappointed if you go! ❤️❤️👍

The food and friendly service is second to none. Authentic contemporary Italian and Sicilian dishes in an intimate, informal and fun setting. Don't be afraid to try new things as everything we had was delish and interesting. Vegetarian options and great for seafood and meat. Not a huge venue so book ahead. Gian Bohan and his crew are the business - well worth a visit!

Heavenly Sicilian food. you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Highly recommend taking a small walk on the wild side and ordering the pasta of the day. it was a pleasure to try. the espresso was so smooth and light. What a gourmet treat! Will be back to try the house made drinks

We came with friends who live in Sheffield and recommended and I’m so glad they did. Genuinely one of the best Italian meals I’ve had this side of the channel!! Simple, authentic and above all tasty. The staff and service always super friendly and knowledgable. 10/10 if I had to moan about anything it’s that it’s too far from home to visit frequently!!

Has been on my list for a long time and did not disappoint. Came on a Thursday evening for our wedding anniversary meal. The team were friendly and gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival- such a nice touch. Delicious, well priced food and drinks in a relaxing environment. High chairs maybe need replacing as the cushions were quite worn. Best negroni I have ever had. All in all amazing and can’t wait to visit again!

What is there not to love about this place. The food is top quality, the staff are welcoming and the Negroni's, wow... this place has a great Negroni and wine selection. We went for the first time on Saturday and I was back again the following Friday it was that good.

This is my first time visiting North Town and lived up to everything that everyone is raving about. The food, staff and ambience was spot on. The fizzy red wine is a must along with the negroni. We had the antipasto platter (wonderful) , tuna for main (perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious), Tiramisu which was 🤌 washed down with a Negroni. I barely took any pics as was enjoying myself so much. Such a fabulous all round restaurant I can't wait to go back.

Have been wanting to eat at NTK for a while now and it was worth the wait! The staff were welcoming and very happy to answer questions about the food and give recommendations. The atmosphere was cosy and comfortable - a big bonus for us is that our dog was able to come with us. The food was delicious! Genuinely the first time I have ever liked olives haha. The lamb fat potatoes with salsa verde were unbelievably good. Will definitely be returning!

Im often asked by colleagues and clients visiting Sheffield where the best place to eat is. I think I may have just found it. Been going for a coffee and an alfresco bite to eat for a while, but last night we had the most sublime meal ever. Even on a busy Saturday night, the service and attention to details like personal preferences and dietary requirements were just dealt with, no hassle no fuss. Loved it.

Just found this place. Got a takeaway sandwich and some kind of croissant type thing. O...M...Geeee I'm going back here. Probably the best sandwich I've ever tasted. The bread was perfect. The coffee was so smooth I didn't need sugar. Lovely staff. Was so focused on eating, I did not take a picture for my review.

These sweet ricotta filled pastries are so delicious it would be rude not to have one. So fresh, crispy and so creamy. Food heaven. The coffee is great here too, I chose a mocha which was not over sweet and used very dark cocoa - so good! James had a latte and said it was lovely too. Our second time back at North Town this weekend and it was an absolute delight. We were welcomed by the friendly staff who make you feel immediately at home and appreciated, and then comes the food which is top top quality, each and every aspect of the menu has been carefully thought out, everything works perfectly together and you can tell the kitchen staff are very talented and care about what they do. We will be back, as much as we can! Thank you to the team for this experience and thank you for the birthday vermouth :)
