Nonno's Pizza Chorleywood in Three Rivers

Family visits about twice a year and we always have a favourable experience in this no-frills pizzeria. Service is friendly and efficient. Pricing is on the low side. Pizzas are excellent and there are many other good options. Wine is decent and well priced.

We all really enjoyed our dinner here. Food was really tasty, staff were friendly (thanks to Adil who is a great host). Prices are reasonable. Will go again.

Nonno’s is a perfect local pizzeria that also does pasta plus a few other dishes. Service is always friendly and efficient. The menu offers a number of choices. Pizza is the speciality but other dishes such a pasta are well cooked and seasoned. The wine list is mercifully short yet the Chianti Classico was very drinkable at good price. Great for a relaxed family meal.

Popped in on the spur of the moment and had a very quick and enjoyable dinner. Prompt service and very good food - and very generous portions.

Very nice food best Italian restaurant wooden pizza Dario from Napoli and chef’s from Italy nice margaritas for my son pasta and nice steak for me wife.

Ate here on recommendation of 14 month-old great-nephew ! Generous sized pizza, excellent Spaghetti carbonara, lovely cheerful staff. Will definitely return again soon.

Nonnos is a solid pizzeria with a little more. Service is always good, pricing is reasonable and the food is excellent. Pizza are always great quality but the nibbles starters and other dishes are excellent. Last week I had a mushroom risotto which was better than most I’ve had before.

One of the best wood oven pizza and Italian restaurant and friendly staff too freshly baked with top quality ingredients the steak was delicious very nice 👌

We have just returned from a visit to Nonnos to celebrate our son’s birthday. We found the service to be very attentive and welcoming, and the pizzas were delicious, mine was gluten free which can be a lottery, but this was lovely . We will definitely be returning.

my son placed an order online, i went to collect the order but they hadn’t received the order. so off i went home to place the order again (as i said my son placed the order and i didn’t know, apart from my dish, what was ordered), placed the order online and then rang them to confirm receipt of the order, they had not received it. so we placed the order for a third time, rang them to hear the joyous news that the order had been received. so off i popped to collect, only to be told they hadn’t received the order!!!!!

Another fantastic trip to Nonno’s today! The food is delicious - between the 10 of us today, we pretty much ate from every category on the menu and all was lovely! The staff are really accommodating and helpful and added to the pleasant experience.

I had a takeaway at the weekend and have been extremely ill ever since. Have retained some of the food as felt unwell within a few hours. Having a test tomorrow to check what bacteria is responsible stop the diarrhoea.

First time been in Chorleywood area visited the NONNO’S pizza Chorleywood welcome by Giancarlo very friendly Italian and the chef is Italian too freshly made dough for pizza and had very nice Italian food been told by Giancarlo that the restaurant changed under new management on march 2023 since than peoples coming in , definitely will come again.

First time at Nonno’s and it won’t be our last. Fantastic service and delicious food. Impressive wood fired pizza oven and Italian chefs - a truly authentic experience. Loved the Easter themed pizzas for the children too - thank you Nonno’s!

Great authentic Italian restaurant. We were given a friendly greeting by Giancarlo, who recommended dishes for me and my family. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked in their impressive wood fired oven. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the prices are extremely reasonable. I can’t wait to go again.

I never post reviews as frankly I prefer to remain positive and don’t want to waste my time. I sincerely hope this review saves someone else from experiencing this place. This is the 2nd time we have tried to order takeaway to support this local business. Sadly, it will be our last time. At point of ordering received an email to confirm estimated delivery would be 1 hr 15 mins. Called after hour and 45 mins when it had not arrived was told it was out for delivery (I live 6-8min drive). Waited another 25 mins it had still not arrived, so called again I was told it was out for delivery and just leaving - it finally arrived 2 hrs and 40 mins after delivery. They chucked some olives and pot of tiramisu in as I think a thank you - too little too late! Pizza we had in order was cold suggesting it had been sat on the side for a while waiting to be delivered! This is very similar to our first time order - I wanted to give them benefit of doubt - but it seems the terrible service was not a one off but learned behaviour. Attitude of staff when you call in suggests apathy and that they can’t cope with running restaurant and organising deliveries. The food is ok - but nothing warrants this long await - they need to give up on over committing to takeaway and focus on restaurant or give in on restaurant - operationally reviews would suggest failing at both. There is a gap in the market for a decent operator to take the market share here! Seems too much business for Nonnos.
