Worse pita bread .Very expensive .Dry inside and we order gyros with hallumi and the hallumi was missing. Very disappointing 😞

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, serving authentic Greek cuisine and some English dishes. Everything about how this restaurant operates is amazing. The friendly staff that greet you, and serve you, and engage with you about how your day has been are a true asset. The food is amazing, and the portion sizes are good, with prices that are great value for money. The decor and atmosphere is fantastic, and the garden area is truly superb. If you are going to be in any customer facing service industry, then take a visit to Number 9, to see how it is done, as nobody does it better.

Spent a lovely evening at No.9 celebrating a family birthday and cannot rate them highly enough. Excellent food, professional friendly staff and extremely good value for money. Even as a party of 20 nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a couple of cocktails and a very tasty Sunday Lunch, excellent service given and they even gave our pup a pup cup.

We came tonight with our 2 dogs . We sat outside it’s a beautiful area to sit in . From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. The lady serving us is so lovely so was the man that brought our food out. The food was delicious and plentiful we will definitely come back again. So sorry we forgot to tip as well deserved one . Another Amazing Night at Number 9! Just had another fantastic experience at Number 9 Greek Restaurant in Skegness! Paula and I went for our usual weekly catch-up, and the food and service were phenomenal, as always. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience a pleasure. But the star of the show, of course, is the food! This is not authentic Greek by the way! It was a disaster from start to finish. Our waitress was not at all friendly, made us feel unwell come, wasn’t very insightful of the menu she didn’t seem to even know what came with what meal. When asked to put my food in a box as I couldn’t eat it all, waitress came back with just the chicken then told me the rest was thrown away even though I asked for all of my meal to be boxed. They then boxed some inedible lettuce 🤢when I complained they was not at all happy even refused to take the poxy £18 of the bill which tells me they must be on hard times! I wonder why. what a joke. Don’t open a restaurant if you can not take customer complaint. I wound NOT go back nor recommend. Save your money and time!

Nice place, well decorated. Food good, and service is a bit poor. Was very quite as well, so they had plenty of time for good service. Had a drink delivered to the table, and they had spilt it, but just left it like that on the table, no attempt to clean it up. Bit more training needed. Oh and one employee was just looking at his mobile.

Food is top notch I go quite alot in the week they do 2 meals for £15 I have 2 steak meals on one plate beautiful my wife has a plank it's the best ploughman's in skegness

So in the area for a party Weekender at Butlins and looking for somewhere to eat, and come across this gem. Homemade fish cake, chips and mushy peas, homemade lasagne with amazing garlic flatbread, washed down with an Alabama Slammer cocktail and a Mojito lush. Seating out the back which is a little sun trap in the afternoon. Piped music makes for a very pleasant atmosphere to spend a few hours forgetting about the worries in the wider world. Well done guys we will be back. Very helpful staff.

One descent room, well furnished. Quite a few tap beers available. More a restaurant . Place was really nicely presented. Staff were friendly and talkative, which I like. Just had a beer which was good. Good visit.

Booked here a few days before our visit to skegness and wasnt disapointed. Food was very tasty, really lovely places and staff very welcoming.

This is a wonderful family run business. Inside the decor is beautiful, outside the pods in the garden are stunning and great for a romantic meal or intimate gathering. Food is always spot on and the staff are very welcoming and efficient. We love it so much we try to go once a week!

Very rude front of house waiter. Food presented to me not as described. Ordered Homemade fish cake, it standardly comes with chips and mushy peas, however I asked for salad instead and only a couple of chips. When the food arrived it was only chips. I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to cause a fuss. However once I started to eat the meal.. ‘Homemade fishcake’ I found myself reaching for the menu to check what I’d ordered. Now I’m a great fan of Homemade Fishcakes, they are one of my go to items. This fishcake tasted of CURRY minus any fish ! The curry flavour was so hot I had a sweat on ! The menu stated nothing of a curry flavoured or Indian inspired fishcake. I’m thinking the curry inspiration was to hide the fact that there was minimal fish in there. I love my food … but this was horrible. I left the fishcake after trying to eat it at about 3/4 of it being left in my plate along with a 1/4 of the chips as I did want and politely requested salad. (And was told yes.. no problem). We were never asked during our meal If everything was ok and I didn’t feel comfortable walking up to reception to inform them of my issues. When I went to pay and informed them of my issues they just looked at me and said that’s what we use to flavour our fishcakes. I said please show me the menu to see if the curry/Indian inspired flavour was noted. It wasn’t as I already knew. It merely states…. HOMEMADE FISHCAKE, served with CHIPS & MUSHY PEAS. I suggested that they add to the menu stating the hot curried nature of the fishcake. As I had actually left a third of my meal I would have expected my issues to be fairly noted and reflected in my bill. Sadly not ! It’s a shame as it was clean and the food freshly prepared, it was 100% the type of place I’d have used regularly. We eat out several times a week and there was plenty on the menu to go at. However I did state to the front of house waiter who was quite rude that I was also in hospitality and dining and that I personally would have made changes to one of my customers bills if their issue would have been warranted as mine were. Such a shame … p.s the music was a tad to loud, also quite screechy. Would be better notching it down a little.

Really nice place, although a little bit on the pricey side. The garden has been very tastefully designed, comprising of individual booths (with heaters) and other seating with tables and chairs. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was really nice. I would highly recommend.

The food was excellent and the young lady Jo who served us was very friendly and good at her job.spent about £60 on two main meals, two deserts. And a bottle of wine I think this was good value for money.i have know complaints. And went back for a second visit in the same week.

Had a great night celebrating my birthday with hubby & friends. Both the Greek feast & Souvlaki (chicken) were delicious. Brilliant cocktails delivered in song by Liam. Highly recommend.

We visited yesterday and the whole experience was lovely! We were running late due to a taxi issue and the ladies couldn't of been more understanding. The food was absolutely delicious, and we all had different. The cocktails were beautiful too. Would definitely recommend and next time we visit Skegness, we shall be seeing them again. Phoned ahead about 2 hours for a party of 12, couldn't do enough for us. We had kids so were a bit lively but Dee and the rest of the staff were great. All the food was fine, not one issue with all the meals. Thanks

Hoped for better things . Venue inside and outside both very nice. Sat in garden area for food . Ordered food starters and mains . We waited almost a hr for any food to arrive when it did it was our main and no starter. Told the server this and was told sorry missed this of the order. My wife's food was very bland and tasteless. My main was supposed to contain chicken in it. There were less than a couple of pieces in it. My daughter had a children's burger, and this was inedible. When our plates were collected, we explained the problems . For to told be sorry ! Then a young waitress spoke to to ask about the food and told us they have changed the supplier for the burger and she herself confirmed that they was not good. We were offered a drink to say sorry . We asked for the bill so we could leave . 30+ minutes later, after asking two different staff for our bill . We had to take upon ourselves to go to the main desk to ask for our. Bill. We were offered no discount or any refund on what we had received. All in all a great let down in what is a lovely venue.

1pm midweek lunch with a friend. It was edible, but I had the pastitsio, which was a little dry, with flatbread, which was less than fresh. The staff are normally friendly, but on this occasion, it felt like we were an inconvenience, and the £45 cost of lunch and pudding plus a soft drink seemed overly expensive. Although I've been here a few times before and will probably be back at some point, it may be a while before I get over this somewhat disappointing experience.

This was my first-ever Greek dining out experience and I think I started with the best! I was first wooed by the beautiful decor and furnishings and then by the bright and happy hostess who made us feel very welcome. The authentic menu is tantalising and offers something for everyone, even those who are preferring not to have a Greek meal. The food arrived hot, fragrant and looking delicious - and delicious it was! I had keftedes and they were amazing - freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. My friends really enjoyed their meals, too.

We went for dinner midday,was very calm and quiet,just a couple were sitting in the other side of the restaurant. We had to wait qiute long for the food,but worth it.Nice dish and place.

I went (this time) for a valentine's meal. The food was fine, but they had packed way too many tables into such a small space. It certainly didn't feel at all romantic! But any other day I'm sure would be fine.

Genuinely the best food in town, wonderful atmosphere and warm, welcoming hosts. I eat here often and will continue to do so.

A spot on little place, nice surroundings. A warm welcome from the lovely waitress, food was excellent. There are very few decent places in Skegness and this is one of them so thoroughly recommended if you are here.

Booked a family Christmas meal for 18 adults and 3 children, absolutely amazing food and service, nothing was too much trouble and the table was spectacular, it dressed to perfection for a Christmas meal, cant thank them enough, brilliant!!

First time at No9, what a great place this is. The owners, staff and food was excellent, made to feel very welcome. Very comfortable, the sitting area in the garden is stunning, well worth a visit, returning again this evening.

Delightful restaurant inside and out. Finished to a high standard, front court yard is welcoming however the rear garden with pods & heating is even better. The interior is designed to give you a great dining experience. We had 4 people for evening meal and felt so relaxed and comfortable, Not rushed whatsoever. Great staff for the three hours we were there. The food was well presented and tasted 10/10 very good portion sizes, so make sure you visit hungry. All in all a great find amongst all the fish & chip shops. Give it a try ( we booked in advance as seems to be a popular venue) Visited 7/9/23
