The best roast dinner I’ve ever had, I would give 10 stars if I could! The roast potatoes were to die for. Fantastic atmosphere and wonderful staff. Thank you No 9. Look forward to returning very soon.

We had the barbecue menu tapas style and the food was delicious. Perfect setting in the sunshine with our little furry family member too!

We attended a wedding at this venue. The food was nice but not served together. The people waiting on the tables could do with some customer service training. There was no tea/coffee offered after the meal. The drink choices at the bar were absolutely abysmal, There were no basic branded spirits, such as Bacardi, Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan or Smirnoff. No cider & only 1 draught lager. The drinks were also vastly overpriced! 😠

I recently came here for the Pizza, Prosecco + Peroni Night with my dad and sister, and it was amazing! The food was delicious, came out prompt and was very well priced for such a classy venue. There was a great range of options and the garlic butter dough balls were so tasty! The courtyard is a lovely area with such a cozy vibe to it, and the staff are super friendly! We were initially sat outside however, we got a tad cold and asked to move indoors and this was not a problem at all. I also came here as a bit of a taste test for the pizza as I’m getting married here next year with my partner and we’re having pizza for our evening food. It was cooked amazingly, super fresh, and also a perfect portion size. Not too big or too small. Thank you, we look forward to coming back again soon!🤍

Wow, what a great discovery! I recently went for afternoon tea to celebrate a friend's birthday, and let me tell you, the food was beyond amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lovely, and it was the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful foodie experience, and I'm already looking forward to going back to try their summer menu!

The restaurant and courtyard were lovely, food amazing and great service. Parking is not well signposted as cars end up all over the place. Once through the marked entrance to the restaurant not completely clear which way to go. But otherwise we'll worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious food and very accommodating to vegans/those with food allergies. Staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel very welcome, and the vegan Sunday roast was the best celeriac I’ve ever had

Good experience, the duck parfait starter was delicious and the cheesecake dessert excellent, and the wine was superb, however the steak was a real disappointment - not much flavour and wasn’t cooked to the level I asked for. That said, staff very attentive and pleasant, and it’s a really nice setting.

It's a bit awkward to find with a lack of signage around the grounds but overall it was very nice. We went on mother's day and service and food was great.

What an experience. Fine dining at great prices. 2nd meal here and would highly recommend it. 1st time my wife and I ate from a delicious menu. 2nd visit was a tasting menu. What a treat. Each dish was paired with a wine/cider/beer. It was one of the best meals we have ever had. That coupled with the amazing service. The staff were super knowledgeable about the dishes and aperitifs. From our table we could see the chefs preparing our meals. The set up of No.9 Restruant is very cosy and intimate. We were lucky enough, recently to dine at a 1 star Michelin restraunt, the tasting menu at No.9 Chapel Estate comes very very close. Well done, and thanks for such a lovely evening. The Cooper's x

Our first time eating at No 9 restaurant on New Year’s Day and it was simply amazing! We had all three courses and everything tasted impeccable, it was definitely the best roast we’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere was great and the staff were even better, we will definitely be back again ☺️

Simply fantastic. We had a main and dessert. The roast Pork was delicious. My partner had the roast beef also delicious. The accompanied selection of vegetables were traditional with a creative slant and also excellent. Dessert is well worth saving room for. Naturally, the wine was also excellent with a good selection to choose from.

Really lovely meal. Well priced, lovely surroundings and very attentive and engaging service. Not busy enough for a Saturday night but hopefully word should spread. Open kitchen was fascinating. All in all a strong recommend.

Okay, Chapel House Estate. As the seasons change we have decided to start hitting the Sunday roasts to scour the south east of Kent for culinary masterpieces. I am not entirely sure Chapel House will be beaten, it is simply wonderful. Set in between the villages of Minster and Cliffsend it offers such a warmth and charm on arrival as you made your way through the grounds to @no_9_restaurant, greeted with a smile and the most delightful of table arrangements we already had the feeling this would be a meal to remember. We being 3, we took the monster with us as the children’s menu looked lovely. We opted for a glass of Gusbourne (just a personal fave) and cast our eyes over the menu. The fact the double entrecôte sirloin to share was sold out by 4pm speaks volumes about the standard being achieved here and 3 courses for £39 for the level of quality, depth and flavours is unreal, this is elevated food and I’d expect to pay more for what we ate. Deciding on the terrine and pigeon for starters, and the Focaccia while we waited (exceptional by the way, utterly exceptional I wish there was more of it) the terrine is the freshest we’d ever eaten, packed with flavour in the form of pear and fig chutney it just entertains with every bite. The pigeon is cooked absolutely spot on, the game jus pulls it all together with the sharpness of blackberries delivering such a vibrant punch. Personally I would chop the hazelnuts (I’m not a chef in any sense of the word, they are powerful and for my little taste I’d like them in smaller quantities) it is still a solid 9/10 dish and I’m in no way complaining. Moving along the only real option is to order one of each of the meat based mains so you can try them both!!!!! Simply, simply perfect. Beef, wonderfully medium rare, with a gorgeous grouping of potatoes, orange glazed carrots, kale, cauliflower cheese and a yorkie pud with a rich gravy that coats it all with a silk like shine. The porchetta with the stuffing is equally as wonderful, I cannot find much I would change at all. Perhaps a bit more of a crispy exterior on the porchetta but that’s just me. Sticky Toffee pudding and a cheese board to wrap things up, and all of accompanied with a Pinot noir. The service is exceptional the staff were a pleasure. I wish there was more space to put into words what we experienced. Simply 5*. Blown away and will be hard to top.

Dined here for the first time with friends on the first night of their Autumn menu, furnished and decorated to a high standard, excellent service from all the FOH team throughout the whole evening. Great atmosphere with fine food, highlights were the sea trout, sea bream and a 10oz pork chop. Desserts were very moorish. No 9 is well worth a visit. Thank you.

No 9 and Chapel House was an amazing venue for our corporate day. The staff were brilliant, from Jade organising the event beforehand and to all the staff on the day. The welcome pastries and then the subsequent lunch were fabulous. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the space for Falconry and Archery. Thank you for helping make this an amazing day for us all. !

I've been ordering from this place for well over a year now and it's not once let me down. Food always turns up on time if not earlier (usually earlier so bonus), always full of flavour and every time it arrives piping hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable, can easily spend £15 on just myself and still have enough for the next day. I can easily say New Shanghai is the best Chinese in the area if not the best I've personally experienced. Only downside is that it's cash only but in my eyes it's absolutely worth it.
