Guy clearly tried bumping me when I handed him £20 and he gave me change of £10...food is shite aswell

Ordered a large special chicken kebab which shows an image of chicken cubes on skewers but I ended up with lamd donner and chicken strips (see images) when I contacted the takeaway j qas told I was wrong . STAY AWAY

If you're in Dunbar and want great food and friendly service... Don't think twice. This is the place to go.

My family got a delivery from here today and the food was good and filling but the service is awful. We phoned our order and i could hardly hear what the person was saying over the phone as their side was very loud. I told the person that i would like a Peri peri chicken wrap and she asked if i wanted sauce, i said yes and i asked for another few things and the phone was done. The delivery took 1 hour and then when we got our food the wrap was missing, i phoned up asking about it and the person on the phone said i would need to repay for the wrap. I told her no and hung up, i tried to be nice but their english isn’t the best.

Great food, great staff and reasonable prices.

Unfortunately they got the order wrong and it was too far to go back to correct it. Food was nice but not what I ordered. It's a good busy takeaway which is always a good sign, but a bit chaotic. Great food but check the order before you leave the shop.

I have eaten curries all over the world and UK, Southall, Birmingham, Brick lane etc. This was the best I have ever had. Easily the best in Scotland. Nice staff and amazing quick service.

I was scammed. First they try to give too little change and secondly they gave lamb dish without meat.

Top notch indian takeaway, very reasonably priced, tasty food, decent portion sizes. If I lived local I'd order from here all the time!

Best Indian and general munchie take-away in Dunbar - hands down. Give the guys some time, they get extremely busy on the weekends, but the food is always stellar and well worth any wait. All of the curries I've tasted have been delicious, but if you're after something fun and different, give the Indian Pizzas a go!

We all got a meal each and although the dishes were lovely there was very little meat in each. Approximately 3-5 small pieces in each, it was just all sauce. Very disappointing, will not be going back even though we’ve always gone there for years whenever in the local area.

I wouldn’t have gave it one star if it was allowed. First of all you go in the shop no one talks to you and the lady who does can barely speak English looking over the countertop the kitchen floor is covered in food and the place looks very dirty I ordered chips and curry sauce as I knew it would be risky eating meat out here and you guessed it they couldn’t even get chips and curry sauce correct. Took ten minutes to cook chips and curry when the place was dead anyway the chips was soggy and the curry sauce had no taste whatsoever none zero nothing was very weird wasn’t even curry sauce colour. I pulled over at first bucket it and that’s where it went in the bucket the place needs closed down. On top of that I seen a fridge full of juice and asked for a can of cola and asked if it was cold she said yes so when my food was ready the cola was added to the bag from the fridge and guess what the juice was warm clearly not even got the fridge switched on to save power/money and I had a feeling the fridge wasn’t switched on so ruined my can of juice aswel by lying to me saying it was cold

Great menu great value for money.

The Indian food is great, tasty and nice and not (if you choose the right dish). They are also open to changes if you ask. I must say it's a shame they opened up to all the other foods as that does devalue their expertise a little. it doesn't inspire confidence in well cooked Indian food if they also sell pizzas, kebabs, burgers and fried foods. Guess they have to stay alive though. If you like curry, this is without a doubt the best option in Dunbar.

Ordered a pizza and a chicken burger unfortunately got a beef burger but that’s no bother they like both and came within half a hour and the delivery driver with the van was amazing as well as being a snack himself

Ordered at 7.10pm, phoned to find out if food was going to be delivered. Member of staff did not apologise that delivery had not been made by 8.20pm. Blamed it on our address!! We cancelled orde over the fone. Shockingly order was delivered at 8.50pm. Prawn cocktail was look warm after being next to hot food. The rest of food order was OK. Customer service the owner gives is appaling.

Took almost 2hrs to arrive pizza was freezing Pakora was not cooked and irn bru was flat

over 2.5 hours late had to call up and ask what happened to my order was told it would be 10 mins it was another 45 mins food was warm but zero commutation no apology nothing very disappointed been going here for years

3rd time visiting great staff Nd food

Our first time in Scotland, we was recommended nice and spicy We couldn't believe the 5*******service we received they even bought it to our van on the campsite Thurston Manor leisure Park the food was to die for the food portains were massive , we have had take aways in lots of different places and this is by far the best we have eaten wish we had this back at home we will be ordering again tonight and probably tomorrow thy do everything from Pizzas, kebabs, burgers , wraps the list goes on 😋😋😋

King Prawn Madras !! There are 6 King Prawn in my Curry and the tiniest King Prawns I have ever seen Very DISAPPOINTED!!!

Absolutely fantastic. Excellent quality and really tasted like authentic Indian food. If you like spicy food, do ask them to add indian spices!

Excellent menu. Look online as they do hundreds of different curries. Always delicious and really good quality and i order different ones almost weekly. Only downside is occasionally takes ages to deliver on fri and sat night. So would recommend phoning ahead to collect or arrange delivery well in advance. Soon to be doing pizzas aswell. I cant wait to try

Omg this was the best curry we have had in a long long time it was so good 2 days later we had another. We are heading back to scottland very soon and guess what we will be stopping near Dunbar so we can have another. Cant wait.

Love a ticker clogger and this place does a ticker clogger the size of your head!!!!

I placed my order and was told it would be around 25 minutes. I came back to collect it, just in time to see one of the staff patting down our 2 portions of rice with his bare hands before placing the cardboard lids on. I told them I wasn't happy with this and the other cook says "but that wasn't your rice's". So he was willing to contaminate someone else's food and fob me off at the same time. He then made me 2 fresh portions, but I won't be back there again, which is a pity because the food was quite nice. It just shows how ignorant some food vendors can be especially during a pandemic which has put many out of business.

Brilliant food hot and tasty delivered hot and on time

Food is so good even my very fussy child loves it. Our first time ordering our order was so delayed we ended up cancelling but they gave a full refund and our next order was free. Have been back repeatedly and only twice has there been a delay, but both times this was during the covid19 pandemic and so it is understandable that issues will occur. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Absoloutely first class really beautiful exceptionally fresh authentic curry and food just so blown away by decent servixe and exceptionally brilliant food Highly recommended. Value for money and honest decent kind sincere service. A diamond in Dunbar. Best take away foid I have ever had and I have been arround the world!

Excellent quality of food and service. I've been bemoaning the lack of quality takeouts in Dunbar (as opposed to London) but have to say was very pleasantly surprised with Nice & Spicy. Flavours were good on the tandoori, jalfrezi, korma and vindaloo, portions sizes excellent and they even customised a dish as requested. Delivery was on point and timely, and all the staff I spoke to were accommodating and polite. Would definitely order from here again.

Dunbar..... Excellent Indian food. The tandoori starters, veg starters, roti and Masala are great taste.. Appreciate the packing done and delivery expectation.. Much recommended for Indian taste buds...

Great food, but can be a bit slow

Chicken tikka masala was very bad like sugar meat was old never again .

Phoned in order and was told 45 minutes. Took over 2 hours to arrive.

Orders always take longer than told on the phone and always very oily.

Had a tandoori king prawn jalfrezi, from a curry snob i have to say the best curry i've ever had. And you have to try the tandoori lamb chops, simply stunning.

First time trying and was dissapointed. Ordered chicken pakora and got 4 of the smallest bits of chicken you could find. Had more sald than there was chicken!

Food is very tasty and always hot. Raj is friendly. Recommend the vindaloo with garlic naan :)

Just ordered (for pick up) a Korma and Biryanis with Naan bread, very tasty - The chicken tastes fresh, moist and very chickenny (not reformed or of dubious flavour). Service is very good and looking through to the kitchen, everything looks clean, tidy and well organised.

Ordered a meal for one and accompaniments. It arrived within 20 minutes. There was masses of food, I could have fed 3 people. Most importantly it was hot, delicious and cheaper than the other Indian in the town. I'll definitely go back there.
