My daughter does Morris dancing here in a hired room. Lovely landlady, staff are polite and chatty. Great relationships with the punters.

A nice place to watch football and hang out with friends

We hosted a funeral gathering here. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, really accommodating. The decor is excellent and the atmosphere is happy. We provided our own buffet food.

very 'local' pub, i went during the week one night. everyone in the pub was very friendly despite not being a regular there, limited selection on the beer as it is a joseph holt pub so there wasnt a wide selection on draft but overall a nice place

Always busy. Holt's do ok beer but wouldnt hurt them to do a guest ale.

Lovely local pub, spotlessly clean. Barmaids quick and friendly, there is karaoke but on the night I visited (Fri 03.11.23), there was a DJ. Great atmosphere and I enjoyed being there. Would def visit again next time I'm in Manchester.

Haven't been here for years. I love this pub. It's cleaner than it was, actually its spotless . Great looking building,nice staff. Smoking area with heaters,large interior also outside space. They put on great weekends,karaoke mix with disc,bingo in the afternoon and nights during the week, quizzes,food etc. The day i went there was a band on THE BAND WITH NO NAME. All from wythenshawe and also regulars. THEY WERE BRILLIANT. From the drummer the bassist the lead guitar rhythm guitar to vocalist. Thy played covers but ,HILIGHT OF THEIR SET the cranberrys zombie. Played and sang perfectly. This is the sort of pub dat actually tries and keep live music going especially local bands. I had a cider just right. I can't say enough about this place. PLEASE keep it going by drinking local.

Took my Mum for a Birthday drink this afternoon but sadly we could only just stay for one and not the afternoon we had planned for her. Far too loud music and bingo caller... even for my 18 Yr old nephew. We enjoy music and a drink but also to be able to hear each other shouting to each other. We normally enjoy the atmosphere here but not today sadly. Parking is also now massively restricted as the car park at the front has become a beer garden.

Visited for a surprise Birthday party for my sister and it was a very nice day. It was an afternoon so the usual crowd wasn’t in so it was not rushed or overly busy. Quite an enjoyable afternoon.

Be very careful when going here. My last two visits have left me unable to talk coherently and had me walking like a toddler. All in all. Fantastic.

Having lost our way due to lack of continual Diversion signs, we called here just for a desperate comfort break. Lady behind the bar Lisa, gave me key to loo and even came to make sure I was OK. It was beautiful and clean and both staff and customers were very kind and helpful. Lisa even rang her partner to get best directions for us to follow to get us further towards our destination. I booked my wedding here and was looking forward to it then covid come and I didn't get a call or email about this....I paid for the room and didn't get my money back just ghosted me....wouldn't recommend to book your event here ...

Typical pub really, nice n cheap as it's a holts pub, pool table n darts, think there's was karaoke on plus football on the tvs. Nice smoking area, really nice friendly staff n ppl. 1st time been in n more than likely go again

Great local pub, Fantastic bar staff and managers. Pub Quiz on a Thursday, Karaoke Friday and Sunday and Live acts on Saturdays. Also has a great function room to hire which is spacious.

One of only a handful of pubs in Wythenshawe that serves cask ale. In this case, it's Holt Bitter. Taken on by Holt's some twenty years ago as I recall. Well kept both internally and on the exterior, which appears to have been redecorated of late. Two rooms, a very spacious lounge to the left, and games room or vault to the right. Recommended.

Good food and drink not too expensive

Very good pub, staff are family friendly and very welcoming to any customer. The Guinness is one of the best drinks at this pub I've ever had around Manchester.

Friendly local pub with great landlady and bar staff, Quiz on Thursdays and Kareoke on Fridays! Beer is very reasonably priced and we always get a warm welcome when we arrive.

Good atmosphere, dj was brilliant and had some good song choices. Karaoke great..
