New Thai Kitchen in Darlington

I have placed an order online but never received order. They are liers and robbers. They have taken my money and were keep saying that your order is in kitchen then later on your order is on its way but they never delivered food and after that stopped taking call. Fraudulent restaurant

La comida muy buena, el servicio muy rápido (ordenados en el propio para llevar) y un personal amable. Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que le guste la comida tailandesa 🍴

Hemos estado un par de veces a este para llevar y cada vez que llega se abren en diferentes ocasiones, no contestan el teléfono y no tienen comida preparada a tiempo, es una pena porque la comida es realmente buena!

Me encanta la comida tailandesa, especialmente arroz de coco, pero esta para llevar es horrible. El arroz estaba nadando en leche de coco, lo que más gusta arroz bazofia, esa es la única manera de describirlo. La carne en mi plato principal era duro y negro y había demasiadas cuñas de jengibre incluido en el plato. No recomendaría este lugar, y yo ciertamente no vamos a volver.

Tomó distancia de nueva cocina tailandesa varias veces y la comida siempre ha sido buena. La calidad está por encima de la media para un estándar para llevar y la porción es grande

I feel compelled to write after my shocking experience at this awful takeaway. Having received our order 1 HR after making it (I could understand if they'd actually got it right!)We opened it to find sloppy rice pudding instead or rice and chicken instead of prawn pad Thai. I phoned and spoke to an incredibly rude woman who said 'you would have been told about the rice on the phone' I assured her I hadn't before she said I'll phone you back and slammed down the phone. I was then called back by an aggressive, rude and ignorant man. He shouted down the phone that I ordered a chicken pad Thai and not a prawn. When I said I didn't want to argue he screamed 'well you do though don't you'. I was so upset and intimidated I just put down the phone. The food was disgusting and not authentic in any way. I think they need to go to Thailand to understand real Thai food and hospitality.

Very pleasant restaurant with full range menu and good prices. I went on a Wednsday night which was a bit quiet but fully enjoyed the experience and next time I visit Darlington will visit again. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

First time getting a takeaway from here, we found the food to be excellent quality with a very authentic "kick" to it. We would definitely use again and recommend! Two issues i had though: 1) I arrived and saw on their menu that they gave free prawn crackers to take aways orders > £12. However when I asked they said they no longer did this - yet it was still on their menu 2) their menu also said they took debit cards. However when I tried to pay by card they said they only took cash. I had to walk round the corner to get some cash out. The owner later clarified that their card machine was broken

Got a takeaway from here for me and my 12 year old son who had never had Thai before, went here as just moved round the corner.. Beautiful food, really fresh and for thai, not a bad price at all, wait wasn't long and my son now loves thai.. Will be getting from here again :)

Authentic Food made by Tai Chefs. Just come back from Tailand and had a bug for Tai Food. I thought I would try this take away and to my surprise the food was exactly as it was on holiday. Fantastic service, great food. Have ordered 3 times this week already. Keep up the good work.

I feel compelled to write a review of this takeaway after receiving the most apauling service. The soup that was delivered was all spilt out of the container into the plastic bag so after finishing the rest of the meal I took it back to the takeaway in the exact state it was delivered in expectation of an apology and a refund. Upon presenting the bag of soup I was accused of having made the mess myself in a microwave. After trying again and again to deny this nonsense he threatened to physically throw me out of his takeaway. Imo he is a disgrace and totally unprofessional. I didn't receive my order and neither was I refunded and to add insult to injury I was threatened with asault and told it was my fault. Unbelievable!

Fantastic quality Thai takeaway. We regularly visit and highly recommend it. I would ensure you collect as the delivery times can be slow due too how busy they are. Don't let that put you off as the food is fantastic.

Our friends recommended this Thai takeaway to us and we ordered at peak time on a Saturday night. Despite this, the delivery was prompt (even though we're in a Darlington village) and free as we'd ordered more than £12 worth of food. The food itself (a green curry and a Pad Gra Pow) was delicious and the price included jasmine rice. We're looking forward to trying some of the other menu options soon. The five star rating is compared to other takeaway food rather than restaurants. Having said that, the food was certainly to restaurant standard.

We have used this takeaway quite a lot since we discovered it and we find that the food, whilst sometimes slightly different, is usually very good. We ordered last night for collection and although there was a member of staff within my eye line, on the phone, when I entered the shop, it quickly became apparent that he hadn't seen me when he didn't come back out of the kitchen for some time. I was beginning to get annoyed. You could really do with some sort of bell on the counter so that customers can get your attention without having to shout. When he did finally come out of the kitchen my food was actually already under the counter! The food was, as usual, delicious, which is just as well otherwise we wouldn't return.

Best tasting and the most reliable Thai delivery place in Darlington. I found the Thai green cuury spot on, There was plenty of warning about the jungle curry, which was hot, but I managed it okay. The starters I've had so far are okay, not as nice as Fat Buddha ones, but at least it'll get delivered pretty quickly! Just watch out for the £12 minimum order charge..
