New East in Aberdeen City

My son and myself ordered special chow mein yet no prawns and seemed to find nothing but duck really ? Tried calling but just got dodgy answer service

Visited from Glasgow, ordered a chicken fried rice, I've never had a chicken fried rice like it, it was dry, bland, the rice was overcooked. Overall disappointing. We also ordered special fried rice was OK but there were no prawns in it. No where near the quality of food that you get in Glasgow.

I had a beef chow mein meal, but the noddles bone dry and tastless The beef the same dry and tasteless, no seasoning whatsoever. Phoned to complain but was told that’s how they make it?!? I will never go back 😡

Honestly expected better. These 5 star reviewers must have their taste buds removed. "hot noodle" special was like something out of a festival truck and the sweet and sour balls were pretty gross.

Great salt & pepper box including free prawn crackers. Quick & friendly service too - just note cash only.

portion size was good , service attitude was poor . meals tasted a bit funny , never had exact meals quite like it . Chicken with Cashew Nut had a portion with only a dozen cashew nuts on top . free prawn crackers not make up for it . . . 2*

I really enjoyed the takeaway delivered to Moxy Hotel.It was delicious.Only thing I would ask to get your menu online.

Food was actually okay however the male staff working the counter was very rude, didn't speak at all until he demanded the money. Rude. Because of this I won't be back. Being polite and having basic manners costs nothing. The 3 stars I gave was for the food. Customer service gets nothing.

My favourite fast food joint with Subway

Big portions of Special Fried Rice, a meal in itself, Smoked Shredded Chicken and 8 Curried King Prawns both with fried rice for just over £21 with free prawn crackers. Lovely food and enough for tomorrow too! Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Cash only.

Delicious! Very busy but the staff were polite and welcoming. The food was brilliant and given how busy it was, didn't actually take too long to make. Would defo recommend!

Had volcano chicken supposed to be spicy, IT WASN'T waste of my money and their time

Ordered a home delivery about 9pm tonight. Order arrived within half an hour, food was of restaurant standard. Rate The New East as the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be.

Best Chinese carry out around in my opinion, great menu to choose from never a problem with the quality of the food served.

Doesn’t even deserve a star!!! Worst Chinese take away we have ever had!!! Waited nearly 2 hours for food the be delivered. It turned up cold. Nothing about it was good. We ordered satay skewers, so greasy and tasteless, spring rolls, well never seen such a tiny spring roll,clearly from frozen. They were soggy and yuck. We shared the sweet chilli chicken.. there are no words to describe how terrible it was. Sauce was essentially just water with red colouring, chicken was a strange pink colour. Absolutely disgusting. Will never order again!!!

After waiting 1.5 hours, we called for the women to tell me the driver was on his way and she laughed! Another half hour passed and I called to cancel! Half hour after that the driver turned up! I refused the order. We will never order from here again!! Disgrace 2.5 hours in total with very bad customer service! If I could put a score on I would give it minus points
