Best Chinese in Ely!! Always our go to

We have tried a few Chinese takeaway restaurants in the area, and this is our favorite. Flavorful food, good portions, always packed well and still hot by the time it reaches our table.

Really friendly take away. Everything fresh and taste really nice. Soup, chow m, banana fry. Although they could of put more sauce with the friyed banana. :)

I've been using the new dragon Inn for years. I've never had a bad experience when it comes to the food I order. Always fresh and delicious...my only quarm is that when you search up the menu to see what they do and prices...the prices online don't always match what they are in the shop its self. It's very pricey...but you get what you pay for I guess. Great food.

Very rude person on the counter… seems about 13 years old as well as another younger girl working looks about 10. Very rude and passive aggressive and not a nice welcoming atmosphere at all. Also forgot some of my as well. Food is average not anything special. Definitely won’t be returning as the rude child has put me off it.

It's a very good Chinese takeaway. I ordered Chicken fried rice (X3), Chicken Chowmen (X2), Shredded Chicken Chilly (X2). Total bill £45 so got free veg crispies and Prawn crackers free. Starting with quantity - It was more than sufficient as we 5 adults ate in full capacity and still some was left and we ate it again for breakfast. The taste was really nice. Chicken Chowmen spicy was 5/5 Chicken Fried Rice spicy was 4/5 Shredded Chicken Chilly spicy was 3/5 (was sweet and not spicy plus the chicken was hard and not very soft while eating). They don't have a delivery yet but the quality and taste is good for a reasonable price.

Always 5 🌟 stars…delicious food….salt and peper king prawns,sweet and sour chicken (hong kong style),fried dumplings,etc….

This is honestly the best Chinese takeout we’ve ever had. The ingredients are always fresh, never feels greasy, and the food is delicious! Check out the crispy shredded chili chicken, king prawn fried rice, & spare ribs in Peking sauce 🤩

An Ely staple for a decent takeaway. They do not deliver, cash only.

Food was not really great , a lot of shouting at the back ground and instead of 15 minutes I have to wait 30 minutes. So I am not going back again

Ordered 3 dishes. They got 1 of them wrong, as I was out of town wasn't going back to complain. However food was good, good portions. Didn't have to wait too long (which is what I was worried about when I read the reviews).

Dont waste your money, terrible food and service! overpriced. They even had a child around 8/9 taking orders. Won't be going again!!

i am one of the childs of new dragon inn.I recommend BBQ sauce Spare Ribs.The sauce is soo good spare taste good too! recommened. but they are slow.because there is me dad and mom and my other sibling.

Disappointed with preparation time, we phoned order through are were told 20 min, turned up after 20min to collect and had to wait another 40min before we got our meal. Wouldn't have minded if we had been told it would take an hour.

Some of the very best Chinese takeaway I have ever had. A rival to some of the best London's China Town has to offer. Unusualy non greasy and obviously fresh ingredients made this a rare treat. I wish I lived locally!

Special noodles was just noodles and I couple of bean sprouts, small portions compared to Witchford takeaway Inc sweet and sour sauce and special curry.it was more expensive too. My conclusion is ill stick with Witchford Chinese takeaway. Much better

Pre ordered to collect for half 7 food was ready for when I got there 15 minutes early. Got the food home and it was all stone cold. We phoned them up and was told the next meal we order would be free to replace the one we couldn’t eat. When we called to place an order they wouldn’t do it and told us we would have to pay. Very in helpful on the phone will not be going here again.

Great service and food. We ordered from here last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. We had a large range of food and could not find fault with any of it. It was ready on time and we were able to keep our distance easily. Cash and telephone orders only. We will use it again. Thanks for providing a decent service during lockdown.

Old school straight forward Chinese takeaway. No frills, does exactly what you would expect. Closed Monday. Prices are OK. Cash and cheque only. Service is generally polite verging on perfunctory but it does the job

This has to be the worst food we ever had, this was the first and last time I'd order anything from this place, the food is tasteless, full of sugar and not even close to chinese food. My dog woulde'nt even eat it

"Simply the best" is an understatement....shame they don't take card hence the subtracted star

Best Chinese in the area by miles!!!!! I eat takeaways alot... So I can review honestly. The lemon chicken is fantastic and the rest was great too. Bad bit - they don't deliver!

I’m not normally one to give 5 stars but this Chinese has always been great. It used to be my local until I moved to Littleport and now I find it’s worth the drive as no other Chinese in the area comes close. Food has always been great!!!
