New City Restaurant in Flintshire

All I can say when I look at this beautiful establishment is WOW! It has got to be the epitome of Chinese takeaway. I was walking down the road wondering if I should actually get a job or just have a tug at home in my 25 square foot apartment with a new microwave. I ultimately decided to look for a nice takeaway to accommodate my starved self. I finally found it, the best, the most brilliant takeaway of all mankind! The chicken chow mein was absolutely extraordinary and mouthwatering . Overall the best part of the experience was the lovely chap at the counter. He was magnificent with his hands and did me out in 5 minutes

It was a typical Saturday night, I was tired and couldn't be bothered to cook anything so I thought why not get a takeout. After asking a few chaps in town this Chinese takeaway was brought up many times so I thought id give it a go. Little did I know what I was missing out on. The food they serve here is from another planet the second it touched my tounge I felt like I was dreaming, what had I eaten, was it Chicken chow mein or was it a rainbow. Upon finishing my meal I Felt like I had truly entered heaven and nothing will ever live up to this blissful and criminally low costing meal. Definitely recommend for anyone of all ages shapes and sizes. May I add the young man behind the till who I believe to be called Alan was a star and having children of my own I can tell he's a lovely and polite young soul. Thank you new city, you have changed my life...

Well well well, it seems I've found the greatest place on earth. I was yearning for some food i asked some friends and got recommended new city. I am forever in debt to the friend that told me about this place. As i approached the location the scent i caught made me feel like i was floating. I walked through the door and was greeted by a friendly teen i introduced myself and asked for his name, it was Alan. I ordered fish, chips, char siu noodles, sweet and sour chicken and prawn chow Mein. The teen swiftly prepared my meal and we had a lovely chat whilst he did. As i took my food back i was itching to open it, as i took the first bite of my food i was strook by an immense sadness, a realisation, an epiphany that i would never again taste food of this calibre. New city single handedly produced the greatest dish i have ever experienced. I cannot recommend this place enough as it changed the course of my life with the first bite. Again i feel like i need to emphasise the politeness and level of cooking skill the teen behind the counter possessed and believe they have a real star. Again please check out new city

The food wasn't that hot and charged me extra for 2 miles radius delivery, which I'm not even miles away? The prices are ridiculous and the portions have definitely decreased in size. The prices don't match up with the new menu, I added it up and it was more expensive when delivered. Ripping off!

We have no issue with the food its really good, the staff and speed of the delivery really good, it's just the price of the food ,we use new city quite regular and it seems to be more expensive every time you order

To describe this chippy in one word i would use the word SWAGALISHUS. I'm not kidding you when i say New City may be the best food in North Wales nay Wales. The food is pog, the people are pog. Love the Hot and sour soup.

Me and my hubby went to this Chippy and at the start of the day I weighed 13st at the end I weighed 14.2st because of the food. I went back 92 times to get more hot and sour soup. I PUT ON A WHOLE STONE IN A DAY BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. Everytime I ate it I cummed and my Hubby Jenson described eating from New City Chippy better than eating me. I was offended but I can agree it was that good.

By far the best Chinese I've had and I love my Chinese wouldn't go anywhere else for it around the area thumbs up 👍 to the chef awesome Cantonese sweet and sour chicken is bang nice

Had really bad Chinese from this place... Don't go there... Avoid at all cost! My toilet was handy the next day! It's really really bad! Chicken dry, rice was hard and no crackers🖕

I never write reviews but this is a must we’ve been looking for a for a Chinese that we can stick to for sometime now with no joy as there is always something that the family aren’t keen on....until we came across new city it ticks all the boxes for us we have not had a bad meal yet we order every Saturday night for the family it has not disappointed! Definitely recommend 5 stars !

We have had 10+ meals from this great take away over the last couple of months after it became our local. All of the food we have received is absolutely lovely and cooked to perfection. The staff are really friendly and our orders are always ready within 15 minutes. Can't fault it, especially the crispy lamb!

Queríamos un llevar, pero el martes que iban a estaba cerrado. Subí al otro lado de la carretera para probar la nueva. Tuvimos que esperar bastante (que realmente no importó, ya que significa la comida es o cocinando correctamente o están ocupados. . Buenas señales.). Pedimos varios platos, que estaban perfectamente comestible excepto todo parecía muy dulce.
