Great food - on time - taste great and good price

horrible food - beef didn't taste like beef, sweet and sour was horribly tangy, rice was sticky and cold. tempura king prawn starter - well there weren't any king prawns in the batter they were just awful

it's the worst Chinese I've had in a while. spare ribs and sauce wasn't very nice. chips was over cooked.

the food was cold, the taste of the food was shocking and iv never seen chicken look so anemic in all my life. won't be returning.

Great variety of dishes to choose from and I’m never disappointed. Ordered the chicken balls and they’re so big. Honestly great value for what you get. Love it

Food was inedible! Really sad as I ordered here last time and it was nice. This time it was freezing cold - despite being on time, and the food had an awful taste to it to the point I have had to bin the lot. Tasted like it had been made a couple of days ago and reheated in a pan for 30 seconds before being bunged in a tub. The spring rolls were cold also. No option to get a refund for the fact it was inedible. Could only get £1.45 back for it being cold when the binned order was £22!

Food came early, piping hot, and every item was correct and present. I can’t commend New Century enough, driver is friendly and if you have to call up so are the staff. Food is great! Cooked to perfection and full of flavour, nothing too greasy and nothing taste bland!

Meat was very dry, tasted fine but not great quality. Everyone's had bad stomachs the day after. Delivered roughly on time. probably won't buy from here again unfortunately

One of the best Chinese takeaways locally by far, and the only one that does decent vegetarian options. Always a lovely meal and on time (per stated delivery time)

the food was beautiful as always, but there was a portion of chips missing.... the price of a bag of chips is bit steep so tried ringing the restaurant, but had no luck. Bit of a shame

Best prawn curry I have ever had from a takeaway ever. Beautifully cooked & really tasty. The sauce had a lovely consistency, nice big prawns & just the right amount of onion. Awesome!

Super tasty, new favourite Chinese Take Away

Noodles were bland, curry sauce and salt and chilli chicken were really sweet.

I always like a takeaway that advertises a spicy dish and *gives* you a spicy dish and this place certainly does. The chilli and Garlic dishes are delicious, same for the squid starter and other things we've tried. Love the place, much better than the more well known restaurant/takeaway a few miles away just outside of leadgate.

Food came & it was the wrong order. I ordered chips, salt & pepper chicken & curry sauce. I got hard cold rice & chewy salt & pepper chicken. No chips? I received a cold wrong order. Just unacceptable Got my order at 10:40 & I tried ringing restaurant however the phone did not get answered then they closed. Waste of £17 Will not be ordering from here again.

Got shredded chicken and duck rolls and there was barely ANY meat in the rolls and the crispy chicken was basically just batter the chicken they used mustve have been strings of chicken or smt

Absolutely disgusting. It all went straight in the bin. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was like sugary water with hard bits of corn through it.

First time using this restaurant. I ordered chow mien which isn’t normally spicy and this one was too spicy to eat. The duck in it was also very minimal and dry. The tempura prawns were lovely but very greasy.

It was a little bit late, but, the quality of the food was great as always

Someone has got the salt and sugar mixed up and so managed to season my food with sugar rendering it unpleasant to eat. There were actual grains of sugar all over the dish. Completely unacceptable. Sorry.

Used to go lucky date but they have got not only really expensive but the quality has also gone down hill... New century however are just amazing. IV not been anywhere else since finding this restaurant, foods always hit, delivered on time and always fresh. (Plus they have chilli beef) ☺️
