So Sunday 20/10 I visited the restaurant with my son and this was our second time and what a shame my 1st visit was 10 out of 10 but on this occasion what a let down. The chicken was awful and we had to wait for clean cutlery, I do understand that when I arrived it was very busy but there should always be cutlery ready available, and one thing I nearly forgot to mention was our main course was brought out with our starters so not really a good time.

Really busy but the service was great. I'd recommend you book to avoid waiting.

Ordered mash as a side with my dinner but came out really hard. Staff members have looked over at the table where I have placed the mash separately and not said anything. Really disappointing

We arrived without a booking and were told it would be around a 10 minute wait, so me and my girlfriend waited outside as it was hot. In less than 5 minutes a server called Tim came and got us. Food came quickly but unfortunately there wasnt any of the medium garlic sauce, atleast thats what I thought until Tim saved the day again and found some for us. Great food, great price and Great service from Tim!

I am a loyal Nandos customer that averages 2 orders a week. Yesterday I waited one hour and 30 minutes for our take away. I was informed one of their drivers had accepted the collection order in error. So the food just sat around and nobody bothered taking action. So time wasted on ordering and waiting and the best they could offer me was my money back which is my basic right. Thanks Nandos Thanet, you really know how to look after your loyal customers.

Getting more expensive every time I order. But the worst part is that I’m at least 50% of takeaways that I order via Deliveroo, something is missing. The attention to detail is shocking and clearly nobody is checking the orders. Sort it out Nando’s Broadstairs as this is very poor service!

They took a very long time yo deliver my food. Over 1 and a half. When I got the food, the fries were mostly burnt and tasted horrible 🤮. I almost post photos. We will see on my next order. I had a good time dining in about a year ago, and the food was good.

If you wanna wait ages because they’ve forgotten your order, or you want to receive rock hard frozen food, or maybe a touch of completely rotten black avocado, or maybe even want the completely wrong order delivered to you, this is the place for you! :) Total incompetence at this branch unfortunately.

Everyone was just looking at us, no stop, we were very uncomfortable 😕 hope it gets better thou.

Definitely one of the best Nando’s restaurants I’ve been to, the food is served quickly and cooked to perfection, service is good and the staff have a good sense of humour as soon as they greet you at the door. Second time here and will definitely be back.

Called regarding the much publicised 'Saka' sauce and was met with the most rude member of staff who clearly had no concern or want to help me. Said he had no idea about the sauce, even with this being marketed so heavily by the company, and I was made to feel like I was wrong. Then as I was talking I was completely cut off with 'have a nice day bye'. Absolutely horrified that level of customer service is deemed acceptable! Used to come here a lot. Won't be visiting again!

Haven't had Nandos for 17 years and in all honesty only came here as Ask turned us away for not having a booking We ordered two quarter chickens, chips and the coleslaw. It was okay. My mother's was well cooked piece of breast mine was a leg which was a bit undercooked for me. The chips were adequate and the coleslaw okay. I had bottle of water and mum a diet coke which was warm and which I had to get the ice to make cooler. £27.30 which is good value. Very busy and chased us to eat. Mum had not even finished her dish when they took it away, Would not eat here again.

Wasn't too bad tbh, staff were super friendly.

Just came to have lunch here on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. The service was brilliant, friendly staff. And to top it off the food was excellent!! Really enjoyed the new churasco burger!

Unsure how your staff are trained. But seeing as there were 5/6 FOH I would have hoped my food woulve come when it was ready or atleast soon after, I watched my food be on the side for atleast 15 minutes after waiting 30 minutes for it. So many staff walked past no one taking any food. All too busy standing or clearing tables ( I understand the cleaning) however I would say hot food being taken to customer is 1st priority as noone was waiting to be seated either so it wasn’t a priority at this point.

Worst place i ever went to and did a takeway food was cold the bun on the burger was hard as a rock the chicken was uncooked not recommending no one to this place just spend £30 and the food went all to Bin disgusting Never Again...

Prices have gone up and size of sides have gone down. So much so there's not even enough to go with the chicken. I'm so tired of the greed. Won't be using again

Classic Nandos. If you go in for Nandos you couldn't ask for better. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is as expected (good). Restaurant can be a bit noisy with its open plan, but not unpleasant. Restrooms could use some TLC, but are perfectly functional.

Although very busy we were seated within 5-10 mins and our food order was ready within 15 mins after having sat down. The staff were friendly and courteous and the place was tidy and clean.

Food is fine, but considering it's a chicken restaurant and they had run out of whole and half chickens, could've been better

Awful. I ordered a takeaway & it just never came. I got a missed call from a number I couldn’t get through to when I tried to call back. The driver dumped the food on someone’s (not mine) doorstep & marked it as delivered. According to ‘customer service’ because I missed the call it’s my fault & I’m not entitled to a refund. I had to order (and pay) a second time to get my food. Our house number is written big & bold next to our door & the postcode leads you to the right place by GPS. Nobody knocked on the door. Company refused to share the image ‘proving’ it was delivered. So…. Company took my cash but never brought me my food! I’d advise avoiding takeaway….

Had an absolutely delicious lunch at Nandos at Westwood Cross. Marcin and the team were fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Those loaded fries are amazing! Thanks guys

Needs a more varied kids menu, and choice. Although we were told by a different staff member that they were changing it soon.

Very bad experience,They miss few items in our collection order 2 weeks ago and same thing happened today as well and the Chicken is not cooked well.

Ordered by phone payed 45 pounds didn't arrive rang back don't get restaurant only a call centre no help just informs us we will get refunded in 48 hours i don't think this is good service

When I called because due to some of my food missing all they said was hi that’s it they didn’t say hi this is subway how can I help they didn’t say that all they said is hi they was rude and I told them about my missing iteamz they said I have to wait I think it’s rude the food it good the Uber try is good it’s just subway itself, lack on communication what’s wrong with company’s these days all they said is hi not hi this is subway my name is so and so how can I help it was simple like hi that’s it.

I love eating here I really do now I’m skeptical on coming here and I got served raw chicken last night and the waiter with the man bun didn’t take me seriously

Food uncooked and pink inside the boy with the bun was so rude when we said it was uncooked he said is it really in such a rude manner and looked at us like we was dirt didn’t even bother looking at the food The older man is lovely and so helpful and polite he makes Nando’s a friendly place very kind and cheerful Nando’s is usually a lovely friendly place just a bad day I guess berry disappointed in the arrogant staff member

As with all Nando's, you know what you are getting. Sadly the last 2 times at Thanet I have had issues. The first time they forgot 2 items I ordered and did not check the bag...by the time I got home in rush hour. It was too late to go back. The last time I ordered and then went to another shop. When I returned they checked and said my order was not ready...there were only 2 bags in the cabinet. 5 mins later another assistant checked and mine was one of the two.

Awful experience. Ordered a takeout for two via the website and upon returning home despite being a simple order we had missing items from the order and were given an incorrect main order (vegan wrap given rather than grilled chicken wrap). The sides (rice, mash & halloumi) were also cold.

Fabulous food and really lovely service.

I had ordered food from Nadoos Westwood Cross on 13/7/2023 at 5:37 pm with order number T1-646 (takeaway). The order includes a full platter with 2 regular chips, one regular coleslaw, and regular spicy grains. I tried to claim my green reward and asked to add a quarter chicken, but the cashier refused and added peri peri nuts instead. I didn't understand the reason for the substitution. Anyway, I waited for some time and got my parcel. Once I opened it at home, I realized one item was missing. I immediately called the number mentioned on the website, and a lady who identified herself as the store manager collected all my details, including my phone number, email, and order information. She offered a gift voucher for the mistake, which I accepted. However, I haven't received any confirmation or gift voucher email despite waiting for some time. When I called back to inquire about it, she replied in a rough manner, saying that it would take some days to process and she's the only one managing this during a busy time in the shop. Despite her behavior, I apologized and said I would wait. Until today, I haven't received any response from them. I am utterly disappointed with her attitude and behavior towards customers. When they make a mistake, they should address it properly and promptly. I don't understand how the management is training their employees there. Customers are not begging for favors; we are paying our hard-earned money for service, so it should be respected. I am completely disappointed.

I’m leaving this review on behalf of my 13 year old. He has been a few times with his friends recently. The staff have treated him and his friends excellently. You should all be proud. He is now a massive fan of the restaurant and loves the food.

Air con was too cold, service was good and staff welcome us with a smile. Food was served on the warm side, could have been hotter.

Been various times and will update reviews afterwards I went on my birthday 1/08 and was slightly disappointed with the speed of food to the table , this wasn't to do with the quality of the staff but the quantity, food was stacking up on the hot plates but there wasn't many staff to deliver to tables , this resulted in our food being on the cold side and slightly dry which is not what anybody wants with their chicken ! Overall a pleasant experience and will continue to return however this particular branch does need more staff at busier times (dinner time) to keep up with food orders going out quickly to enjoy there wonderful food

Disappointing visit. Turned up and once seated, we were given a list of things that were unavailable due to equipment failure. No halloumi, loaded fries, garlic bread, and about 8 other things. Decided to stay, asked for lemon and herb chicken - was then told they had run out of that too. Overall didn't receive anything I had originally turned up for and the food wasn't great, which was disappointing at best. The spicy rice tasted as though it had just been microwaved and the chips were bland with no sauce. The staff were fantastic and did everything they could do.

The food came on time, the staff is very very helpful, especially Chloe she is very helpful and she great you with a smile.

Not good in service, toilets are very dirty. No napkins in the toilet. Chicken was not well cooked. I would not recommend going.

Very hit and miss, sometimes a great meal, others you leave wondering why you ever went to pay £30 for some chicken. Clean venue and Friendly staff. Sometimes items are forgotten with the orders so be careful

Had quite high expectations for their chicken but really disappointed. Ordered chicken burger. Chicken was hard and dry, impossible to cut with this knife which was maybe for spreading butter if that. Not very sharp at all, when mentioning that to the staff member he said “yeah they not very sharp”. Maybe sharpen them? Bread was bit dry and hard as well, so the whole burger experience was bit sad as i left most of it due to unable to eat it. Chips were lovely.

overpriced chicken and chips. service was good, original order had cold chicken, was returned and replaced with a fresh meal, which was better but the roll was inedible, chips are just cheap frozen bookers/tesco/iceland fries, coleslaw was nice though ! Not somewhere I will be rushing back to.

We visited before the cinema. The service was quick and friendly and it was very easy to order using our phone. I had the lemon and herb which wasn't spicy.

Nandos always great! Shame they don't do more offers like Blue Light Card (not just nhs) and deals in the week. 20% off Hungry Horse, 2 for £10 F&B unfortunately so do tend to eat elsewhere most times.

There wasn't a vegetarian option my friend could see. And nothing I fancied on the normal menue either, my friend thinks the menu had changed since her last visit. Very full and rather noisy so we went to McDonald's. But obviously plenty of people liked it hence it being very busy.

This is our all time favourite restaurant and we go here at least twice a month cause it's an all round great experience. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is always fantastic and pretty quick to come out. Love love Nandos. Well Done Thanet Team. See you soon.

The breast of chicken was a little dry for me, but everything else you see on the photos were soooo good

We had a couple of different flavoured chicken meals but they all had a lemony taste to them. The chocolate cake was amazing tho 😋

A standard Nandos. Busy even late afternoon. Food was good, service ok and as usual you have to do a lot yourself.

Never contacted back about our table that we asked for and was said to wait 20mins outside in the cold, so went next door to ask Italian which was great and sat us down instantly.

The worst meal I have had for a long time. They only have one protein to cook and my chicken was so overcooked it was almost impossible to swallow. I don't think I will ever go there again which is a shame because it was so good in the past.

We came here for food. There was mix up with food and had to wait a while. They was busy to be fair and the manager rectified the mistake. They gave us a free complementary pudding each..i found this service very good as we didn’t make fuss or complain it was offered to us

We decided to eat because we had come straight out of the Vue cinema and urgently needed food . First visit here was not great long wait and did not enjoy my meal at all . Waitress was apologetic but staff seem to chat a lot instead of getting with the orders .

Visited this Nados on my trip to Margate. This place is big & with lots of seating. The staff are friendly & polite. They even asked us if we need any extra sauce and were happy to help.

It was the first time we had Nando's and we were really pleased with the experience. The food was lovely. It's almost like self service but the staff that is cleaning around is very friendly and attentive (asking if everything is ok). We really enjoyed it 😊

One of my sons chicken was undercooked, and was replaced with no issue. But my other son and wife had the chicken pitta, and noticed to late that there was also not cooked! Resulting in them both being ill later that evening and all the next day. So ruining a family celebration evening.

Arrived as a group of 4 on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was not too busy. There were at least 3 tables free. We had to wait a while once we arrived for someone to seat us, which wouldn't have been a problem except there were three of them stood in front of us chatting. Once we were attended to, we were given the option of choosing where to sit which was nice. Once ordered, food arrived very quickly which was a welcome touch. Previous experience at other locations has led me to expect long delays for food. As per usual, the food was what you'd expect from a Nandos. Service was less than optimal, hence the 4 star review

Awful service - Over priced. Tiny portions. Ice machine broke and they couldn’t be bothered to put a sign saying it’s not working. My friend was charged twice and they couldn’t fix this problem - they said she will get a refund in 2 days but didn’t even give a receipt of any proof that a refund will come. The staff had no interest in the basics of customer service…as in to come over and ask if everything was okay, knowing that we weren’t happy? Food was awful - barely any chips on the plate. They forgot half my drink so I had to go and ask them, all round awful restaurant - I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Ordered Pitta with extra haloumi and jam, recieved just chicken in a pitta, no salad or extras, paid £40, staff put the phone down on me when I called to rectify, disgusting service will not be ordering here again, would like a refund.

Me and my best friend went tonight (15/08/22). We had a lovely man (think he was Portuguese) serve our food and take our dessert orders. We spoke about the naughty natas and how lovely they are. Was super polite, was a pleasure to meet him and made our experience and meal out the best evening. Definitely be returning and hope to be served by him again.

Service a bit slow initially. The rolls are a bit heavy, not what Portuguese rolls should be and how they used to be.

Had the wonderful chicken livers!! Delicious. My friend enjoyed spicy chicken that looked lovely. I had the rainbow slaw and she had broccoli.

I absolutely love Nandos but this franchise has to be one of the most poorly ran restaurants in the country. They always seem to have ran out of something. One time they were out of chicken burgers, another time they were out of chicken wings (it's a chicken restaurant?). One time they completely stopped serving halloumi and the reasoning they gave was that the grills had malfunctioned and was causing the halloumi to melt (anyone with a brain knows that halloumi cannot melt) and apparently it was an issue happening across the whole of Kent. I totally understand that there are supply chain issues right now across the country but they always have some sort of excuse as to why their service is sub-par even before covid came around. It's also really unprofessional to see staff taking over tables for their own use to store their personal possessions or to eat food from other restaurants. I don't really want to see empty costa cups and rubbish that has been left out whilst staff are working.

Luckily it wasn't busy. Had a lovely lunch ,quick and hot. So glad you've got the Portuguese chicken liver back. 👍It was a little spicy considering we ordered mild but still yummy.
