Absolute filthy dump. Scruffy dirty staff. Garbage. No manners from the staff, very rude. Would'nt want anyone to give them a pound of their money.

One word fabulous back again we come to Blackpool every 2 months would go nowhere else Do not Miss this Gem we will be back in a few weeks any one like a Breakfast get the Big Breakfast

Back Again just get's better the Breakfast was perfect no more to say !!! just go and find out we was a family of 5 this time we all had the big breakfast

WE REVISITED AND HAD A SUNDAY ROAST OMG BELIEVE ME ONE OF THE BEST COOKED ROAST I HAVE EVER EATEN JUST LIKE MY MUM NAN USED TO COOK THE BEEF MELTED IN MY MOUTH NO CHEWING DEFO WILL BE BACK WHEN DOWN IN NOV STAFF WAS ALSO 5 STAR POLITE AND FRIENDLY TOP

Fantastic little cafe. Food is amazing and so cozy and friendly inside. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. Perfect location and a little seating area outside. Waitress was so lovely and the kids loved her. We left very happy and very full. Would 100% recommend to all.

Top notch breakfast will be back for sure, friendly staff, fantastic fresh coffee too i had big breakfast partner had the great scot both were 10/10

My daughter ordered a takeaways from here, absolutely disgusting they were Mouldy and we found a hair in pne if them! Chef looked dirty in trakkie bottoms and t-shirt! Waitress had her hair down so very unhygienic and was smoking outside, she didn't wash her hands when she came back inside cafe to take my order.

This cafe is a fantastic little place. The staff are really welcoming and friendly with smiles on their faces The breakfast was brilliant Nothing was to much trouble for them Will definitely be recommending to friends and family

What A Lovely Clean Cafe The Breakfast was Fab my Wife Had The Smaller one but it was one of the best we have ever had and we have had a few lol i would 100 % Recommend this Cafe to anyone who is visiting Blackpool and when we return in oct for the Illumination's it will be our first stop in the morning defo 5 star The Staff was polite aswell

we have visited this Cafe many times in previous years and always had excellent service and the food was exceptional, so we were so looking forward to returning, but on this visit we found that it was under new ownership. On entering the cafe, we thought the decor was more like a nail and beautysalon than a cafe! There was sand in the windiw and on the floor with ants running about over the tables!we felt very uncomfortable as the staff were all grouped together behind the counter, wearing which I could only describe as gym wear! The chef/s were in trakkie bottoms and tshirts, the waitresss looked like she had just ran a 10k run! No one came to take our order, so after waiting 20mins we went to the counter to order, the waitress seemed very unsure of the prices and overcharged us! We ordered 3 breakfasts and hot drinks plus a cold drink for our daughter, the cold drink was warm and not chilled! We had to ask for a glass as it was not offered. The coffee was awful and had a strange taste like the milk had gone off. The breakfasts were only like warm, and the bacon was dried out like cardboard, we didn't eat the sausages as they were undercooked. We asked for runny eggs, and they were snotty! Cutlery was filthy! We decided to leave and will be reporting this cafe to health and hygiene! No aprons or uniform were being worn, and the preparation of food was awful. Most of the staff were smoking outside, and when they came back inside, they never washed their hands! Will not be returning!!!

The staff where lovely but the breakfast was the worse I have had in Blackpool the bacon was over cooked and hard the hash brown was way over cooked and the “ big breakfast “ was no difference to the “ bigger one “ did have to ask for the extra toast we ordered as was forgot I would deffo stick to the green caffe

We always go to Munchys for the best value breakfast and friendly service. Adam, Steve and staff are always welcoming and the food is delicious. The breakfast menu offers something for everyone, whatever your appetite. See you again soon.

Went to blackpool for a weekend away and went to this cafe 2 days In a row The breakfast was nice good price for £7.00 for a large one . The plate was more beans than anything else got no mushrooms which I was disappointed about because In my opinion there the best part After my dinner I looked at the menu that mushrooms wasn’t on any of the breakfast menu .you can’t have a breakfast with out mushrooms The cafe was lovely little tight squeeze had wait for a table because there is only 6 tables and it get busy The breakfast was nice it was okay not amazing but it okay for a cheap breakfast Good has well you get your tea with the price

This cafe is an absolute gem Food was delicious and staff were very accommodating and friendly When next in blackpool we already know where we are coming for breakfast Its very clean and food is cooked fresh Deffo worth trying if uve never been before

i visited Munchy’s this morning as my b&b weren’t serving breakfast, it was raining and i was hungry and thank god i stumbled upon Munchy’s! i don’t understand the bad reviews on staff as they were lovely and welcoming to me and my group, INCREDIBLY fast service and prices you can’t argue with. i had fried egg on toast, normally i’m not a big morning eater but i couldn’t help polish my whole plate off. out of the 3 others i was with, all of our plates were emptied and our bellies full. THANK YOU MUNCHY’S!

My wife & I went here on saturday 18th September. One of the guys who owns the place was sat outside and told us they were closed for a break (20 mins) We returned 35 minutes later to be told by a very rude woman...

Had 4 nights in blackpool, went to munchys for our first breakfast, then every day of our stay, the mega breakfast really was! All the staff were very friendly and make me feel like part of the furniture. Loved every moment being there and enjoyed every breakfast i was served.

I have been in different cafe bars  in Blackpool, but Munchys is the best place I have had so far  amazing roast dinner and very friendly people, stuff are amazing , lots of variety of food and best quality  and price arround Blackpool, I would recommend people to visit this place and have a nice English breakfast, I will definitely  return back to Munchys cafe, to  enjoy  our food again.Well done to you bothAlex and Dave From Italy

Great place for food loved it so much went both days over our weekend break. Breakfasts were really tasty and great value. Excellent hygiene and cleanliness tables and chairs were wiped down with antibacterial solution after every customer.

Food was ok however customer service leaves a lot to be desired was here and my daughter went to pay the lady in the cafe told her to cone to pay but as she entered the old man shouted at her that she should not enter another thing was that the staff decided to take a 20 minutes break and had no problem telling people that they would not be served whilst they all sat outside

went into this cafe too get a drink too be bellowed at by a mouthy waitress in front of the whole cafe and also an old bloke cooking for daring too walk inside cafe fully masked up .not clearly marked saying you can't enter..only too wait outside for takeaway which I was sitting outside so not exactly takeaway..Sat there for good 10 mins no one even bothered too come take order so got up and walked off and so did a fella who was waiting ..can you really afford too turn custom away in these times ..ps a little friendliness goes a long way ..remember that

What a find near centre too we had brunch and was lush not fatty just lush. Lovely Yorkshire tea too. The menu was amazing choice. Clean tidy and lovely

Little cafe with an eclectic display on the walls of the history of Blackpool served our breakfast for the three days during our stay. Nice selection of cooked breakfasts including Scottish and Irish, cooked in view of you amongst the locals, cheap and cheerful local cafe .. Support local!!

First time visiting this cafe and will be the last. Ask for square sausage butty got links, asked to change was a bit of a fault by guy in kitchen. Recieved the roll on square and happened to notice the bun had mould on bottom (see photo). Place is dirty and plates also come with hair

Visited this cafe today with my family,waited quite a while to be served as there was about 3 families in. The grumpy old man served us with such a bad attitude,he has an attitude problem! Not very good customer at all. We then got an adults large breakfast which cost £5 and it literally looked like a child’s breakfast. The man really needs to sort his attitude problem out and it’s ridiculous customer service Im surprised I didn’t walk out! That poor young lass that works there she literally does everything,she was serving as well as clearing plates and doing the grumpy man’s orders he gave her. The amount of things she does she’ll be able to run the cafe herself! I’d avoid this cafe at all cost as like the reviews say that mans attitude is appalling and so is the whole cafe. Definitely will not be returning!! The cafe will never be good until they do larger portions and better staff with a better attitude!

Called into this place with 2 friends for a little something to eat, we chose to sit outside in the sunshine, ordered our food & went outside to sit down with our wives, they were having a conversation with the owner who had removed a cushion from her husband's seat, she asked for it back as her husband had only come out of hospital 48 hrs previously after having major surgery, the owner became very argumentative & eventually threw the cushion at her, we were all made to feel very uneasy by this & my wife said to me that if we hadn't already paid we would leave, after a few discussions amongst ourselves, another guy who was on the next table sprang to his feet & said he would rather we leave & they would give us our money back, needless to say we took him up on his offer.If you want something to eat try somewhere else as politeness & customer service is non existent.They showed absolutely no concern or understanding about the comfort of our very I'll friend if I could leave no stars I would have done so.

A fantastic place to eat we always go there when we are on holiday in blackpool very clean place to eat staff are very friendly and the menues are fantastic grate food hot and not greasey and service with a smile i would recommend corned beef toastey the best in blackpool always have one when in blackpool would recommend this cafe to anybody see you all next year keep up the good work.

Dined here last week with my Dad who has dementia and found the server to be extremely rude and crass. He wouldn’t allow a prospective customer to enter with her child in a pram and shouted that it was too busy and they didn’t have space. I acknowledge the cafe is very small and that a proprietor has this discretion but the tone and attitude was poor. Very rude. There’s ways of speaking to people and rude, sarcastic unkind comments are unacceptable. When the establishment became busy it appeared that the server could not cope with the pressure and became even more rude. The food was ok but I felt unwelcome, disrespected and sad that a proprietor could be so unpleasant to customers. The bad attitude was wholly unnecessary and created an unpleasant, awkward atmosphere. All we wanted was to do was rest quietly with a cuppa and sandwich and maybe have a friendly chat but found the total opposite. Munchy’s was definitely not a friendly place that day and I would therefore not recommend it based on that experience.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, good service, varied menu, home cooked food. Visited twice over last 2 days and definitely returning when next in Blackpool

We both had Scottish breakfast , was all cooked fresh and tasty , nice and hot. Two guys who own this was very friendly and welcoming.

Munchys is a typical seaside cafe offering a standard range of British food at very reasonable prices. Only meal we have had has been breakfast but there is a choice of different sizes to suit every appetite and they are all very good value for money. Service is polite, friendly and food arrived quickly. It is one one the very few dog friendly cafes in Blackpool town centre (can't understand why Blackpool is so at odds with most other resorts where many cafes & pubs welcome dogs with open arms). Definitely a thumbs up from us and well worth seeking out whether you are in Blackpool with a canine companion or not.

Looking for a cafe for a nice breakfast find this little place and we go in. I expect a place to be able to do what’s on the menu not get some rude ignorant lazy bloke saying we can’t do mega we’re too busy. To make it worse my girlfriend wanted chips with a toastie and I was told were far too busy to do chips. Too busy to put some chopped potatoes into a fryer for a few minutes just lazy. Why have these things if you can’t do them because you have about 8 people in your poxy little place. No manners at all just a very rude we CANT DO IT attitude awful place

Had a fabulous Christmas lunch at Munchys Yesterday. The food was excellent.We went for breckfast a couple of months ago.The Breckfast is the best in Blackpool by far !! I have wrote reviews about cafes Blackpool and in my opinion this cafe offers the best value and great food. The proprietors Adam and Steve are lovely people. We visited this cafe while staying at a nearby hotel over Christmas. Came here for breakfast a couple of times - great choice of breakfasts, with good quality bacon and nice sausages, everything well-cooked and presented. Very good pot of tea too! We hadn't pre-booked anywhere for Christmas day lunch and were having great difficulty finding anywhere that would accommodate us for lunch, so we went to Munchys as we knew they were open for Christmas day, although we thought it was for advance bookings only. However the owner was brilliant - sat us at a table and gave us an excellent Christmas meal - plenty of juicy turkey with all the trimmings, lots of gravy and cranberry sauce too! And a free drink! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were just brilliant - huge thank you to Steve, Adam and Kelly. Cannot fault this cafe, it's very clean and comfortable, very nicely done out, with super menu and really good value for money. The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful - gold stars to everyone at Munchys! Loved this place and will definitely return next time we are in Blackpool.

3 of us popped in for a breakfast. Very friendly, very cheap prices for the amount of food!!! Had Scottish Breakfast and wasn't disappointed, it was HUGE and very tasty. Would definitely return.

Mum and I popped in here for some food before our coach left to go home- we wanted a beans on toast and a breakfast but were told that a breakfast would have taken 'a while' because two larger ones had just gone through. Lady at the counter couldn't tell us how long it would take so we opted for beans on toast twice as we were short on time. Reasonably priced, relatively quick and can't really complain as the place was clean and quite friendly. Only downside was not being able to order what we wanted.

This cafe is really good ...very reasonable and very nice meals. Prices are excellent and the people running it are very nice and friendly...breakfasts look huge (we didn't have a breakfast) we had home made steak pie with mash and peas and was delicious.

We were staying in Premiere Inn and didn't want to pay for the breakfast. We parked up in town and set off to find a cafe. We came across this cafe and went in. The cafe is small, but was quiet. We all ordered breakfast and asked for extras and different eggs. This was no trouble. We didn't wait too long and everything was lovely. The staff were very friendly and happy to do all we asked. Great place to get breakfast!

Visited this café between Christmas and New Year when we in Blackpool for a few days. The weather was freezing outside but we enjoyed a lovely hot breakfast and a cuppa. My husband enjoyed the big breakfast with everything on it, and it also included toast and a refillable hot drink. When it came the breakfast looked and tasted delicious. The chap that served us was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again when we are in Blackpool.

A fantastic little cafe run by very welcoming and genuine people. Food was more than great value and staff were ultra friendly and accomodating. Recommended a few places for us to travel and we went back the next day for lunch and they also did us some packed lunches at a great prices. Highly recommend.

Hotel over Road was room only, as I like a full English when I'm away I saw this lovely little place, friendly staff, decent food, will go back sometime

Just killing time, couldn't find anything open to eat on seafront so stepped back a street or two. From the outside didn't look much and with my gluten free and low fat requirements didn't hold out much hope. But they kindly poached me eggs and had decaf coffee, really decent bacon lovely!

Good food but staff should concentrate on customers rather than their family members who ate eating there. When we were in customers were being served but staff having conversation with family at same time. Also family members walking behind counter. Immature teenagers making customers very uncomfortable, mother who was serving should show some discipline to silly little girls or lose customers.

A small but friendly cafe across the road from the hotel that we stayed at.. cheap breakfasts @ £2.50 for a small upto £4.90 for the full english.. fast friendly service..nothing to much trouble at all..also they offer a service of doing pack ups for people who need to travel home..which i thort was a good idea.. a clean and tidy premices with good honest food..would definately go back

Was staying at a guest house that didn't do breakfast so went across rd to the munchys cafe.excellent service and the food was served very quickly and hot.Paula who was on breakfast duties served up a first class breakfast.small breakfast £2.50 then large breakfast was 3.50 wasnt huge but enough.then they do the all in breakfast at £4.90 which was very large portions.would highly recommend this cafe serving first class food would certainly go there again.

Me and the wife had a meal in here after reading good reviews about the home made steak pie and they were right it was lovely,we had steak pie mash and peas and plenty of it,to much for me and the wife but we made sure we ate the pie,the owner is a lovely man even told us were to go when he had not got what we wanted.

My wife and I have recently moved away from Blackpool, but while we lived there, every Thursday morning for two and a half years we went to Munchy's for breakfast. In all that time the quality of the food, service and conversation never fell below 5 stars. I have seldom had a better omelette than those cooked here, all their food was way above average. Munchy's is one of the attractions of Blackpool that was the hardest to leave behind. Thank you Adam and Steve, hope to see you on our next visit.

A very good little café basic no thrills had a good sized breakfast for £3 very clean and staff very friendly

We were playing at Rebellion Festival and, we had breakfast here every morning. It is a small cafe so, sometimes you have to wait for table but, a small fried breakfast is £2.50 so, it's worth waiting. I recommend the Scottish Breakfast which is a bit more money but, lovely. My friend said their Cappuchino was "Immense".

We were staying nearby but considered their price for a breakfast to be too much, and luckily we found this cafe first. Really excellent prices for everything, and the food was great. I particularly want to compliment the fried eggs which were perfectly cooked! The menu was varied and good value.

Have never ever experienced anything like it .... Man ( can't class him a gentleman) who is the owner, screamed at us as we entered, table of 4, that NO-ONE would be getting served for the next 10mins as the staff needed a break. He then preceeded to tell us that we had a problem when we explained that there was a better way to address customers. He continued to argue as we left to go to a cafe further along the road. seemingly he is notorious for his behaviour. as the can not handle the pressure. Someone needs to tell this guy to find a new job

The food available is always fresh, tasty and well presented, They offer packed lunches which are great value. The fish and chips was lovely. A good choice for all tastes.

Visited here on a few occasions and in each visit the guy who runs it is very rude and I was appalled by the swearing at another customer being served when there was a family with a small child eating lunch. If they want to Moan about doing take away sandwiches then don't do them simple.
