I’ve been going to Mr Yu’s for well over 20 years. It is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection every time and it is great value.

Easily the best takeaway in sale! Great value, always delicous.

Haven’t ordered from here for a very long time but thought the satay always used to be nice. So thought would order from here for a change. The food was shocking I am rating it one star and that is for the chips. The rest of the dishes were overly coloured and tasted very random and I would not recommend eating here at all. I have felt sick and dizzy since eating very little of it.

No pork in special curry as asked face to face as last time didn't get any was assured there was pork in the special curry but no same as last time . Don't tell lies please and also portions so small the mouse out of stuart little the kids movie would of complained your done with my custom £17.00 for 2 kids meals in my opinion with no pork as was reassured won't be long before you loose all of your custom .

My unusual Chinese was closed so I decided to give this a try but in hindsight, I would have been better off looking through the bins for my tea, as I’m sure I would have found something more edible. I assume the 5 star ratings must come from those ordering a chippy because I can’t comprehend people thinking this is a good standard of Chinese. Shocking!

Ordered a few years ago, and wondered why I hadn't gone back as it's the closest Chinese to us, as soon as I opened it, it smelt wrong, like stale meat. The BBQ ribs come in a luminous pink that look red in this warm light, and the salt and pepper wings were clearly cooked days ago and re-heated.

Been eating from Mr Yu’s for years and it used to be our favourite Chinese takeaway but in recent times, it’s been more hit-and-miss...on this occasion, the veg spring rolls were nice, the chicken fried rice and curry sauce were tasty - the sauce is probably the best I’ve had anywhere - but the bbq ribs were more pink fat than bbq and the chicken in the chicken and sweetcorn soup had an usual texture...would still recommend them but overall, it was better much better 10 years ago...if you order from them, you might order on a good day and get a great meal 🥘 🤞

Yummy best Chinese in Manchester

We have been going here for the last 40 years. Food excellent and great choice. We now travel from Wilmslow to get it. Have tried many others but still end up going back, what more can i say.

Mr Yu's follows the pattern I've found most Chinese takeaways tend to follow. They're either good at starters or good at the main courses. The starters here were quite nice. Not the best I'd ever had but still quite tasty. The mains however, were a different story all together. I can honestly say that the main courses from here are the worst I've ever had, to the point that they were inedible. A real shame as the people in the takeaway were very pleasant to deal with.

Never had a problem with the food .. been going here since I was a child friendly people .. always have a chat when I go in 😁😁

Come here regular, get fried chicken in OK sauce, salt and pepper chicken and other items from time time. Never had a problem. Would recommend

Picked up meal from mr yu's it was absolutly terrible. Been goin there for years obviously it has been take over will never go there again. Very disapointed . Waste of money

Has gone down hill unfortunately, used to love it but last 3 times have not been good at all, won't be going back.

The food we had was the worse EVER, the chips must have been a few days old and were dry and very chewey... The fried rice was dark brown and burnt and was just inedible.....this chippy has really let its self down the quality of the food has been slowly going down hill so we will no longer be a customer here....

Rubbish, Spent £23.00 straight in the bin! Pork balls mush, Beef satay horrid taste and thick mush, Chips under cooked mush. Thanks for the Rubbish meal,Can only think you must of had a off night. Was the chef ill? This was my one and only visit,I would not feed that to my dog. WASTE OF MONEY.

This is the best take away around. Used to use it regularly a decade ago and still hasn't lost it's appeal. And now with even more friendliness. Can't fault it. Recommendation Salt and Pepper wings. Enjoy
