Mount Spice in Daventry

Excellent. Food was delicious; fresh, tasty and full of flavour, very and hot on arrival. Ordered curries, rice, poppadoms and naan bread. Would recommend all food items. Great value for money. Very good customer service. Driver arrived very quickly also. Overall definitely recommend, will now be our staple takeaway!

I can't recommend the curries highly enough. Mount Spice (old Nice and Spicy location) is very new in town and working hard to get themselves established. If you are in Lancaster, or visiting, please give them a whirl. Their food is consistently AMAZING (best curries in town - which is quite a claim), the staff are lovely and friendly, and they go out of their way every time. My favourite is the tikka massala paneer and jeera rice. Mmm....

Twice in recent months I've been in Stonewell needing to get something tasty and filling. Each time I walked in I was met with a smile and a lovely conversation about what sort of food I fancied. Although there was a menu available it was nice to have a bespoke experience. On each occasion the food was delicious. Also a little bit different from other Indian places in town. The pilau rice is fragrant and garlicky. Not to be missed. The spice blends of the curries are truly works of art. To top it off, the garlic nan bread was light and crispy with just the right balance of charring and garlic oil. I've returned once and I'll definitely be going back. Its understandable why the chef has won awards.
