A lovely little village cafe, run by the community for the community. Tasty home made cakes and excellent coffee with a free biscuit for the dog! Exceptional value - 2 tasty lattes and 2 excellent cakes with cream and strawberries only £8. Well worth a visit if you’re in Braunston.

Scones and coffee at the most reasonable price I’ve been charged in a long time. Plus it’s supporting the community. Limited opening hours.

I am surprised that the previous reviews were such a long time ago, as this delightful, welcoming cafe deserves a lot of praise. We stopped here for lunch today, as a halfway point of a canal walk. My partner had a delicious jacket potato with all the trimmings, I chose a homemade chicken soup, both very tasty, but there was even better to come ...... a truly scrumptious apricot and brandy cake. I do love community cafes because they are just that.... the heart and hub of any village, and this one truly did not disappoint. Oh, and did I mention good value???? Craig might not give it a 10 but I would if I could!! We will be back .

I recently had a special request for the cafe to deliver cakes to a person who was ill in the village . Although they do not normally offer a delivery service they immediately said yes . They were so helpful , kind and understanding of the situation . They delivered cakes within a couple of hours . The cakes were excellent and a much appreciated boost for the person who was feeling poorly . Really made my day knowing that people can be so kind . Many many thanks to a lovely cafe .

Popped in just 20 minutes before closing, but the two gals with bright welcoming red aprons said "no problem". We snuck in out of the damp day to a fresh Capachino and an Americana with a warm cheese scone (best one I've had to far in England). Very friendly. Glad we went.

The welcome is friendly from the volunteer staff and the food is freshly prepared and nicely presented. All profits are used to support local projects so this place should be on you list of places to visit if you are in the village. It is 5 minutes walk from Bottom Lock and Braunston Marina.

Went in for a coffee and despite it being very busy, which I thought was a very good sign for a Monday morning we able to find a table. Despite only coming in for a coffee we were soon tempted to try the lemon drizzle cake, both were delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming and we couldn’t resist taking some savoury pastries away as we left. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped in there for lunch while visiting family in the area. It's hidden away in an industrial estate, so you probably wouldn't find it unless you went looking for it! There is a great selection of toasties, as well as the usual select of coffees and cakes. The staff were very friendly and chatty. Apparently it gets very busy at peak times, but we experienced a very short queue. There is limited seating there, but most people seemed to take away anyway. Bonus: it's located next to a car wash, so you can have a bite to eat while your car is cleaned!
