Mount Chippy in Belfast

One of the nicest takeaway pizzas we’ve ever had! Gorgeous chips too. Service was fab- little slow due to ordering quite a few pizzas as walk in customers, however gave us some chips to eat whilst we waited which was a nice addition. We had the meal deal with pizza, chips and drink and there was plenty of food- great portions and a good amount of toppings on pizzas. We were visiting from England and our accommodation was on the same street. Would definitely recommend to anyone stopping nearby!

Not one to leave a review anywhere but felt I need to give some feedback. Food is genuinely awful, have went there 3 times in the last few months, and what they offer it’s of a very poor standard. The staff seem very friendly so I’m reluctant to criticise. If the business owners read this I urge you to up your game. Wish it was better quality as I’m a local and want to see you do well!

Kentucky chicken burger was phenomenal, well worth the cost. A proper, filling burger. The Cod was lovely and not a bad size, the batter is a little thick so it is a little softer than I would prefer, but it was still tasty. Maybe thin out the batter a little more to make sure it’s crispy. Will order again no problem

I’m sorry I won’t be ordering again from here .. the curry chip tasted like there was a bottle of vinegar poured on top of it the Mayo did tasted the exact same and the 3 chip cartoons where busted all over the bag so won’t be ordering again

Food was lovely, still nice and warm, and really good portion sizes.

as it was late and was hungry thought I'd order from here only issues I had was chips were over cooked and curry sauce tasted sour so went into the bin. cod was delicious and just fell apart

Absolutely vile, ordered 3 Christmas Chips but received 3 chips with burnt mince with gravy on top of chips, wouldn't even feed it to the dogs so straight to the bin £30 down the drain.

Christmas chips were horrible took one bite and my partner heaved it was so bad, gravy was like thick chocolate sauce and the smell was awful. Went straight in the bin, never again!

Food was lovely, really enjoyed it.

it was really soggy and the chicken was rubbery, the gravy tasted really weird and it looked like chocolate sauce and it was overall just disgusting

Usually not too picky with food but with the gravy and curry sauce on the chips, it was just way too sour for myself and my family to eat and enjoy - everyone thought it didn’t taste nice at all. just felt as if money was wasted because the sourness just overpowered everything

The food was absolutely delicious, the garlic and curry sauce was one the best sauces I’ve tasted in a long time. Great place I highly recommend it

Our food was absolutely awful, it was cold and it tasted as if it had been sat under a lamp for a week. It was awful. The gyro was too spicy for my friend it was inedible, all our food went in the bin and we got food from elsewhere. Very very disappointed

The burgers over here are really good. And the ice cream cone too. It's a family run business and the staff here are really friendly and speak so well

Asked for chicken gravy and got gravy instead - not ideal when you are pregnant and craving something! Chicken burger was horrible as were the goujons. It was as if they were sitting all day and heated up. Sorry but will not be eating from here again and would not recommend.

I live up in Newington, have always rated this chippy, delivery should be cheaper.

Good food eat in it once a week never dissapointed

We ordered taco chips and we could barely eat any of them because of how spicy they are, which is unexpected compared to some other places we have tried from. They should really put it in the description that it is spicy as now we’ve got 2 basically untouched taco chips

Fish was mostly batter and bones in the fish not much chips didn’t enjoy the food at all put my in a bad mood.

One burger was completely covered in bbq to a sickening level, the 1/4 burger tasted as if the girl wasn’t cleaned well, as it was flaking, one of the milkshakes just wasn’t made or delivered and the chips were about as average as chips got, all in all was a below average food experience and I’ll be avoiding at all ordering as much as possible from here

After the food arrived with a missing item I rang the restaurant straight away but it turns out 1 part of the order was completely wrong. I was charged for a butter box meal and received a chicken burger with a handful of cold greasy chips but they delivered the missing item and hour and a half later

delicious, was hot, gorgeous. rarely disappointed. one thing I will say tho, putting a cheese chip in that carton is not a good combo, all the cheese sticks to the kid

Fantastic food and always early with delivery

Food was on time and looked at a glance like all was well. No sauce spilling and everything was warm. Daughter took a bite out of a slice of pizza and spat it out immediately so I checked and the whole bottom of the pizza was completely burnt, to a crisp. Would have been happy otherwise as other items were food but pizza was inedible.

this place has stolen my money! driver was to arrive an hour after ordering and never showed up when suddenly it appears that the food has been ‘delivered’! disgusted and appalled

Sadly the grimy unclean takeaway with youts fighting outside would have been worth it if the food was edible. Very kind person behind the till but did not seem to understand my small order despite us repeating it to eachother several times, finally got the order in my hands, half was missing, the amount charged was more than the amount agreed but I just wanted to leave pronto. Dry, no seasoning, soggy, tasted like reheated nothingness with a sour gone-off flavour. :(

No sauce with the kebab and no portion of curry sauce that I paid for, when I rand the takeaway they just said they were closing and they hung up. I want my money back, terrible

Really bad !! .. chips OK, pizza base crispy ( ish ) chicken strips ( nice ) Curry not good, honestly weird taste.... pizza toppings just slid off pizza , really poor and not a nice taste , battered Mars was soggy with grease and tasted of fish ! ...

We ordered online and was rang up and told to cancel order because they didn’t want to do our order, absolutely a joke and will never be ordering from them again, they close 4 hours before they should don’t believe they should advertise the time if they don’t stay open till then, worst customer service I have ever received.

Only ever ordered online but best food in Belfast. Literally went out of my way to find them on Google because they're that good. Best is the Goujon and chips. Both freshly cooked and amazing. They deliver faster than anywhere else also

For a taco chip that was far far to spicey. Have taco chips all the time that one was just horrible couldn’t enjoy it at all but also no mince ? Just pure hot sauce

Most of the order was fantastic but the chips weren't as nice as they could have been. Loved the speed of light delivery and the serious amount of food for the price. Would keep a family of four or five well feed for a bargain price 🤤👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Have been waiting 2.5 hours for my food and haven’t received anything. Would not have ordered in the first place if I knew I was going to be sitting here still waiting after all this time. Put in a large order of approximately £55 as well, so I am expecting a refund. Abysmal service.

The goujons were burnt to the point they were unable to be eaten, chips were disgusting and the gravy dip was so small that you would maybe be able to dip 5 chips in before it was done. Terrible quality

The delivery woman was extremely rude

First time ordering from here. The fish was burnt black in parts and soaked in grease. Most of the chips were hard and unusual taste of oil they were cooked in. Very disappointed.

I ordered Battered mushrooms said on the menu you got ten, I got six i rang the fish shop and told them I only got six. The guy on the phone said it depended on the size of the mushrooms how many you got. They were cold and when i removed the batter there was a small piece of mushroom inside. Will never use this place again

Food was nice but the milk shake is an absolute rip off at 4.50, no ice-cream at all in it, basically milk and bit of flavour. Avoid if your expecting a proper milkshake

Ordered food for a quick munch chicken was greasy along with the soggy greasy chips got no dip and the taco chip looked like had been thrown around the bag but the taste was good

First and last time ordering from here. Fish was stinking. It didn't even smell right. Curry was watery. The onion rings are the worst I've ever had. Soggy, greasy and no flavour. The garlic dip was just water. Stinking!

Not the greatest but not the worst either, just ok. Strange version of a Taco Chip. Fish could have been bigger. Doner Kebab meat was dry. Battered Sausages and Chip were very good.
